I am so glad I came to Ace Tax and Realty as a first time homeowner! Armando was knowledgeable of the area my partner and I were looking for homes in and he took the time to show us multiple listings and give us an honest breakdown of each property. Thanks to his guidance, we felt confident enough to place an offer (and close) on our dream home! I would recommend Ace Tax and Realty to any one looking to buy their first home as their team made the experience easy to understand and enjoyable!
We have been doing our taxes with Ace Tax and Realty Services for more than 10 years. Recently we decided to use the Realtor service to sell our home and it and got sold in less than three months at a great market value. I would recommend Ace Tax and Realty Services for its professionalism, integriry and respect.
First time at ACE Tax and Realty, Armando was great, knowledgeable, and thorough.
1st time coming here and it went very well I was told to come here by my brother in law and my brother and a few others so Thankyou all for the great recommendation I was in and out in no time and everything is done perfect
Armando is very experienced, knowledgeable, & helpful. I bought my house with his help 20 years ago & now sold it within 1 day at full asking price. He?s honest & reliable. I?d recommend him confidently to anyone.
Before Armando, I had a different seller agent that didn't work out after listing my house on the market for a year. I took it off the market and later screened and spoke to many other agents and compared their net sheets. I was not very impressed with the other agents that I talked to (including red fin). I'm so glad that I went with my gut instinct and ultimately decided to go with Armando as he sold a house similar to mine down the street. His net sheet and his fees that he gave me was fair and accurate
The owner of the Place was able to answer all my income tax questions. And I was able to get my general tax questions answered in order to move forward with my tax preparation without having to do my taxes there. I learned that he also sales home, so i strongly recommend him to buy a house in the near future. Great Place and Friendly Environment!
I've been going to ACE TAX and REALTY since moving to Perris 10 years ago. I get advice and have my taxes prepared by Armando Hurtado. He's available year round and is professional and helpful. I've recently moved back to Orange County, but I'll continue to travel 60 miles to have my taxes done.
If you have a business do not go to ACE TAX. We were advised by Franchise Tax Board our income taxes were missing forms 568 (K1) for the last few years , which Armando prepared. We went to speak to him about the missing forms, he claimed he does not file 568 forms & that I should go to a CPA. He does not have the knowledge to complete business tax returns. FTB explained that all LLC?s in CA are required a 568! 2018 & 2019 were the only ones that were incorrect filed by ACE TAX.
I worked with Armando and I loved how he was very efficient and clear with everything
Sweet, Patient, n professional! N its the cheapest pay too! Not like Walmart?? charging u 400+ n taking out of ur taxes as well. Got everything from my taxes! And answered all questions i had??
Great place. Great people. When H&R block told us we owed $10.000+ to State and some Federal. I litterly told the man to kiss my behind and Decided to shop around for better place. Im so happy I did, as it saved us a little over $4000 and even got a small amound back on federal.. The filing fee was more than half less of what other places have charged us... coming to Ace was the best thing since sliced bread.. We will never go somewhere else again.
I see why they are named ACE! Patient and Professional.
Excellent service, and it was done super fast.

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
