This place is a bunch of greedy money hungry people. To start off when i called them to discuss my tax problems I only owed the IRS $13,000. After a year they say that they can't help me. Meanwhile the interest kept going up and up. I'm the one that called the IRS and made payment arrangements. Now by the time I pay off my debt I will have paid the IRS over $24,000. Simply the best experience. When I decided to go with this company, i was in such a disarray. My tax preparer caused us much distress. We were facing thousands of past due taxes that we had no idea were due. American Choice Tax Relief truly stand by it's name. They took all my information and now I can?t reach them very upset it?s feeling like I got scammed. I am very dissatisfied with the service I received from America?s tax choice with Hugo. He led me to believe they could wipe out my tax debt. I am being charged for a service they did nothing to help me with. They do not alerted you that if you have too much income coming in they cannot help you. They are are a rip off service & you should not get involve with them.

Let me be honest in my assessment. In 2021, I contacted a representative with America's Choice Tax. At the time, I had agreed to a monthly $654.00 payment plan with the IRS. I wanted some relief, and America's Choice stated they worked directly with the IRS. My husband who is a 69 year old veteran has been paying this company since 2022. The only thing they have done is collect $182.00 a month. No paperwork has been filed with IRS. They have just been collecting money. As of June 2024 they sent a packet requesting information. I don?t know any tax company that operates like this. We are now receiving action letters from IRS. With the money they have been collecting we could have paid half of what we owe.

Despite the 4.4 rating shown on google, I would not recommend this company to anyone. The tax preparers have no sense of urgency since their overall process requires collecting a $199.00 payment with no explanation about their procedures to get the process started. I did not get a call nor email from my tax preparer until weeks later after a payment was made. Terrible experience Save your money, for 2 years they ?worked? on my file and I always got the run around, having to refill old documents Multiple times, had so many different people working on my file I didn?t even know who was supposed to assist me. When I brought up all the issues to management the weren?t much help neither & would not give me any type of refund. My CPA handled what they were trying to do in 1 day and got a way better deal for me then I could imagine.

America's Tax Relief was the most stressful experience for my mother. She was assigned one case manager that left the company and never worked on her case, but when the second case manager (Alissa) finally took over, the final result was the most ideal. In addition, the details of how the process is laid out was negated and therefore, it led to more stress. The company needs be very clear how often they want financial documents so it is not a blindsided request when the case manager asks for them.

After a extended discussion we were able resolve our issues and get revised return files.
