The idea behind Americor is helpful to get out of debt. They basically have you go delinquent with your creditors and have you start paying into a dedicated account. What they didn't tell me in the beginning was you have to have AT LEAST 50% of your debts into the dedicated account before they will even start reaching out to your creditors to negotiate a lower settlement amount. I've been with this company/program for over a year and a half and I never got the loan offer even though I've been on time with all my payments. I was given incorrect information from the start but didn't know it until months later. I was told I could get a loan in 6 months to pay off the debt. I called several times and was told that was incorrect and it can take up to 12 months, then I was told 18 months. I called to cancel the program after 8 months and only one account negotiated. It's been almost a year since I started my program and journey and let just clarify, this is not a short term program, this is a program you have to be patient with and trust the process. They make it very clear not to expect your debt resolved immediately so I knew what I was getting myself into. ALL FRAUD!! Do not get in this program. i started in 2020 and they want to extend it to 2026! I was told that they would settle all my creditors (which was 6, all total 15k) in 2 years. They are all lazy and they take your money with no results!

I spoke with Enrollment Specialist Shelley for a scheduled consult call. Together we discussed important information about the program, and she checked to see how I was doing. At the end of the call, she gave me time to ask questions and bring up any concerns. It's easy to see that I am important to Americor. Great customer service.

Americor has been very aggressive in terms of negotiating settlements with my creditors, and did so quickly. I'm happy I chose Americor over the rest.

I am not happy with Americor I thought they were going to pay off my previous loan. And they didn't I was making monthly payments to Americor For seven months and kept getting nasty notices from my previous lender with collection threats. my credit score went down from 800 to 600 they never paid a dime to my previous lender. They said they were still negotiating. I do not recommend them to anyone to get out of debt.

This program will tell you they can help you and they are partners with just about all creditors but in real life they are not , I was their for 5 months and nothing happens, they told me I would get a loan to pay off the creditors in 6 months and within 5 months it change, it was a maybe I'll qualify..I closed my account and they took the remaining 1250 and kept it for their fees, nobody explain this to me now I needed money for an important bills I had and now I'm back to square 1, 5 months of 500 a dolla

My experience with Anericor has been good. In a short time they have negotiated two settlements on my behalf. One of these was a fair agreement and the other fell short of my expectations. I received a reasonable explanation and am anticipating the remaining few accounts to be settled satisfactorily in the near future.

I thought that this was a great program. I appreciated the effort it took to help out but to get my payment down 40% just to charge me 30 % I feel it's just as predatory as some loans. And then you offer after 6 months to pay off all the creditors which for me was 9-10 k, but you still pay Americor their fee which was like 4k but when I read the final amount I would have paid 25k over five years umm that's more than I owed the original creditor no thanks
