Extremely disappointed with Anthem Tax Services.** I called twice?on the first call, the representative *hung up on me mid-sentence*. On the second call, the only question I was asked was about my husband's monthly income. As soon as I shared that he earns below a certain threshold, the rep bluntly said we don't qualify for a free consultation. No explanation, no attempt to understand our tax situation. It felt like if you don't meet their preferred income level, you're not worth their time. Very disheart

I've never dealt with a "Tax Service" and this was horrific. Response is spotty at best. It's a game; how much can we get the penalties/fines reduced and then charge that amount as a fee for taking your case. You're put on a payment plan with the IRS, that you could have requested yourself from the IRS. In the end you are paying no less than you would have originally. They claim to save you money b4 they get your payment information and then they make excuses on how hard it will be to get the IRS to change anything. In the meantime you will have RISK Managers blowing up your phone to charge you an EXTRA $3k+ to file your future taxes and insure that you do not get in this situation again. The person I was dealing with left the Company, so I was sending documents to a used email account they finally reach out in April 23 to say they hadn't received paperwork.
