I saw Bharti Sudan's positive reviews online, and my longtime accountant has retired. Called and spoke to Bharti a month ago to see if she was accepting new clients which she said she was. Bharti asked me to call back 2 weeks later for an appointment to prepare my taxes for the first time. I called as requested and Bharti scheduled me for Saturday, 2/22/25 @ 10:30 am. She said she is too busy during the week with her corporate clients taxes. Today, 2/22 I arrived for my 10:30 am appointment arriving at 10:1
Bharti Sudan has been preparing our audited financial statement since 2008. Bharti is great to work with and has excellent work ethics. She always delivered our audited financial statement on time and was always available to answer any questions we had. She is responsive, honest and ethical. I will recommend Bharti to family and friends without any hesitation. In a matter of fact, I have recommended her to family members and they were very happy with her service as well.
My son and I have been clients of Bharti Sudan for the past four years and we have been served to the best of our interest in the preparation of tax returns. She and her staff had been very helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable to new changes for tax returns. I rate her service as five stars and would definitely recommend her to friends and acquaintances.
I found Bharti Sudan, CPA Inc. several years ago when I was in need of help with my income tax preparation. I am a professional working in the medical field and I appreciate her honesty, professionalism, and trustworthiness. Bharti and her team are very professional, personal and knowledgeable when it comes to taxes. In addition, they go above and beyond for our business/personal tax services. Bharti is very personable and will take her time to answer all your questions and concerns. As a small business owner,we are very busy handling multiple tasks and forget about our tax deadlines but Bharti would send us a courtesy text or an e-mail to inform us of when our taxes are due, and if we need an extension, etc. which they handle
Bharti did a financial review for us. She is prompt and professional, easy to communicate with and made sure she completed our reports in a timely manner, even during the busy holiday season. We would use her again!
I would highly recommend Baharti. We used her for my business to do an independent audit and then a review which is required for my type of business that has State contracts. She was easy to work with, drove a long distance to meet with me, and was flexible with her time. More importantly, she was able to complete the same task that other CPAs were quoting me double the cost that Baharti charged. I will continue to use Baharti.
Bharti Sudan is preparing my Tax returns each year. Service is Professional, fast, and reasonably priced. Best wishes for Bharti Sudan, CPA, Inc.
Bharti is so easy to work with. Her office is conveniently located in Diamond Bar, and she is able to meet with us for Saturday appointments. We highly recommend her services.
I read the reviews, seemed like a good place to start having your taxes done. So we called, we told them i had 3 years worth of taxes to do. They said sure, not problem, how about tomorrow at 4pm. Great, appointment made. Then i get a phone call, i answered a question or two and i was told that the CPA is too busy to see me tomorrow.. I think its just bad business when you commit to a date, then cancel on your customer and the excuse they just realized their too busy for you. So, im giving this place a 1 st

An awesome CPA she made sure that I'm in the "right category" for my taxes and a plus for me (she is) to meet a wonderful human being. Thank you so much Ms.Bharti for everything.
They not only saved me money on this years taxes but also advised me on steps to take for the next years taxes. Professional and fast but most importantly accurate. many thanks!

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
