I got a new computer and due to the age of my old computer, I had problems setting up the new one. Dan completed the set up on my new computer, downloaded some programs that I needed and transferred my old files to the new computer. He handled the hurdles as he encountered them and asked me at each step what I wanted and how I used my computer so that it would be user friendly for me. I was in big trouble when I deleted all my files from my old laptop, (I got a new laptop) not knowing that it would also delete them in iCloud and therefore forever. Dan amazingly rescued them from the trash (I had emptied it so I am not sure how he did that) and got back everything I thought I had lost. AND he did it in such a kind and caring way. Wow. Cambria Computing is an amazing addition to Cambria. I'm not very computer savvy. Several times I've shown up at Dan Cox's door in a panic. No matter what he is in the middle of he stops to help me. My laptop overheated and shut itself down without actually shutting itself down. Dan returns my call in less than an hour. He was able to turn my laptop off and on again and look it over to make sure it was still okay, which it was. The whole process took a total of about 5 minutes. Following his advice, I bought a laptop cooling stand at Staples. I will go to Dan again.

I purchased a battery online for my wife's HP laptop and decided that I needed a professional to properly install it. I called CC and was told that I could bring it in. I called in to get my desktop repaired, I went in he reviewed it and said my hard drive was out. My desktop came with a 3TG hard drive from the factory, he said it would be $179 to replace my hard drive. I said fine please fix, I picked up my desktop yesterday and noticed that the hard drive installed was only 900gb that 1/3 of what I had originally. I called him up and asked him why he only installed the 900gb he said I didn't have much stored in the machine, therefore, I didn't need the remaining storage.

Well stocked, knowledgeable, and there in a pinch! Prices are a bit higher than Amazon as they note, but for the convenience of not having to drive to Morro (at least) it can be very worth it!
