I am anything but pleased with this process so far. When I signed up I was told the accounts would be settled with-in 90-days. After 5 or so months there was still no settlement, I was finally informed that they do not even start the negotiation process until after 90-days because the accounts need to be in bad standing. We are extremely disappointed with their services. They did not do what they initially promised they would do. We were under the impression that we were going to be offered a lump sump payment option after 6 months into the program where all our debts would be paid off by Clarity. When we called to ask about this, we weren't eligible because they hadn't settled enough of our debts. In 7 months, they had only settled 3 out of 9 debts. Meanwhile, all of our cards went to collections agencies.

They have not contacted most of my creditors unless they can pay large amounts right away. they settled my small bills first that most likely would not sue, and Havant contacted the big ones for almost two years. now I'm getting lawsuits and have to pay more per month to stop the suit. and because of the suit they won't bargain so they only saved me about 10% on these bills. A shady dishonest company that will charge you more in settlement fees than your original debt. The reps will refuse to write up agreements to pay off your debts in one large lump sum and strongly discourage you from making additional payments so they can collect more monthly fees. They will only write up agreements/contracts showing you have to make monthly payments so they can charge you additional early pay-off fees and will claim they made an error while totaling up the balance so you have to pay more.

I started this program 3 years ago and paid all my payments of over $700 per month. I have finished paying over a year ago and they Still have mot paid my credit cards off. I'm getting phone calls everyday from collectors. I have tried to get updates and tried to expedite the process. Clarity has settled with four banks regarding my outstanding debt. The whole process could have been explained a little better nevertheless there's light at the end of the tunnel. The representatives were always attentive to my concerns. My credit report has gone into the tank. I'm told that as the banks are paid off in full that a report is sent to the credit bureau. This is NOT a quick fix by any means. It will take another two years to make things right again.
