As new business owners and newlyweds, my wife and I wanted to ensure our taxes were filed correctly while maximizing our deductions. I came to Mr. Watson with a serious IRS problem that had been going on for over 17 years. I used several tax companies and tax attorneys. No one could get the job done. Then I met Mr. Watson. His experience and professionalism was outstanding. His knowledge of the tax laws was impeccable. In just a couple of weeks after he had all of my documents he was able to negotiate a deal with the IRS. The wait was finally over. Thank you Mr. Watson for all your help. I will recommend you to everyone.
An incredible and successful experience with Mr. Watson! Heard him on Gospel Radio 1390 and was impressed by his depth of information on taxes. Decided to give him a try regarding a tax issue, and had a great experience and outcome!. He has extensive, proficient and invaluable knowledge regarding the tax system, and is passionate, responsive and determined in resolving your issue. Highly recommended! Mr. Watson gets it done!
When you need your tax return(s) prepared by a truly knowledgeable and credentialled individual, I recommend Constant Watson III. As the years go by my taxes and estate become more complex. I no longer can depend on proper filings using computer software and seasonal tax services. I want & need a more thorough personal service that earns my confidence, and I believe I found it.
Mr. Watson was such a blessing in my life! After my husband passed away, I had no idea how to continue. And after several years of unfiled taxes, I heard Mr. Watson on 13.90 saying he could help me. After I called in a state of despair, he reassured me he could help , and after he actually prayed for me in his office, he brought my worries to a halt!??I thank God for this godly CPA. He is the best tax accountant anyone could ask for!!! Carolyn Carter
Outstanding service. After being ghosted by H&R Block for months, Mr. Watson and his team provided top notch service within days. They are knowledgeable and responsive; two qualities hard to come by these days. And most pleasant to work with. Looking forward to working with them again.
When I decided to start my own business, I refused to take shortcuts and wanted to make sure I avoided any financial landmines. Constant Watson/Watson on Taxes provided the consultation, tax services and piece of mind we needed.? Constant listened to our concerns and helped us thoroughly plan for our financial future. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable CPA!
I found myself in trouble with the IRS and State and not sure what to do about it. I heard Constant on a radio show and most are skeptical of radio and commercials ad but my life was in the throws so I had to take the risk. I called Constant he got on it right away and first to stop the garnishments and the levy of my bank accounts. So he got me set up on temporary payment plans until I could settle with each agency. He work on each case about a year and the State settled with continued affordable monthly p
I am letting anyone know that, I was in a situation like many out there, unfiled taxes. I came to Mr. Watson and, he handled my situation, Professionally and timely. Anyone with a tax issue, don't hesitate to contact him and let him help you get your situation corrected. Thanks Mr. Watson!
If I could have given Constant a -5, I would. My taxes were suppose to be completed on 18APR2016. At the last hour, he called me and said that didn't need to be completed on that day because I would owe money. So I could take time to complete a spreadsheet of all my expenses. He took his $550 payment, but didn't have my taxes prepared as initially stated. He never worked on them in my opinion. I took time to complete the spreadsheet and sent it to him over two weeks ago. He never sticks with his timelines
I am extremely impressed with the sensitive, caring , personalized services provided by this excellent firm. They were patient, reassuring and supportive. They were thoroughly knowledgeable and experienced. They helped in the successful resolution of my tax problems
Constant Watson filed my back taxes. He is very thorough. I heard him on the radio, so I went to him for assistance with my taxes. I think his prices are fair.
MR. Watson is a knowledgeable CPA and has proven to be an oustanding credit to the profession. I highly recommend him.
Constant helped me straighten the mess I made of my taxes. I couldn't have done it without him. Great people, honest, professional, straight forward and patient!
Excellent Service! You've outdone yourself again. Legendary service!
Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
