Derrick called me and when discussing our current funding options, told me it was impossible for us to have the terms we have with our current lender, he said I had no idea what I was talking about, and in essence calling me a liar. They just offered us a 35 cents per dollar loan despite the fed fund rate going down .5 % last week. This company is a loan shark company. They hung up on me when I asked about how they calculated their APR. According to Gab AI, the calculation would be: APR = (0.35 / 1.00) * (0.03447 * 2) = 0.2404, or 24.04%. Therefore, a 35 cents on the dollar fee for a 6-month loan equates to an Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of approximately 24.04%. Isn't that 20% or more over the current rate?

Contacted this company and was sent a link to Fundbox. Not sure why. Was sent a denial from Fundbox because of my credit. Was sent a denial with a credit score of 714. Crestmont claims to help with bad credit. I guess 714 is "bad". I specifically told the person I spoke to I didn't want a hit on my credit. Wouldnt recommend.

I have tried unsuccessfully to unsubscribe the unwanted emails from coming to me, I have emailed Brian Williams, Director of Lending to remove me from his email list but I still am getting emails and I am offended. I wouldn't do business with this company if it were the last company out there because of their aggressive tactics. I hope that they will stop this soon or will have to take further action.

All of these glowing reviews are completely false/spam. Received an email regarding business capital, out of curiousity did a quick lookup of the company. I came here to find a flood of positive reviews....seemed suspicious. Sure enough...if you click on each of the reviewers listed here, they all have one or two reviews....of the same company(s). 6 or 7 of the reviewers here have also left a 5-star review for a hotel called the Travel Inn in Washington. Don't quite get these glowing reviews. My company received an email that clearly stated we were eligible for an attractive rate for up to $175,000 for a Small Business Line of Credit, but when I called, it was classic bait and switch discussing a rate 1.75% higher than written.

I denied there loan bc I found a better one and one of the loan officers kept texting me telling me pretty much that I made a huge mistake for going with a different loan company and non stop messaged me for 20 min. Telling me I need to answer my phone etc I politely asked 4 times to stop messaging and that I was happy with the loan and terms I got from avant. Then he/she text me next time pick up your phone lol very disrespectful and ignorant!
