Gavin is my go to guy!! He never hesitates to get on the phone with me if I'm having issues, takes total control of my PCI scans and seriously...he's just a great guy!!! Thanks for ALL you do!!!!
When our company first started, processing we were paying extremely high rates. About a half year later I was getting 2-5 calls a week from people soliciting for processing, mostly all of them telling me the "great things" they could do for our company. Before promises were made, Curtis Cooper and his team did an evaluation on our past credit card reports. The analysis showed me exactly what his company brought to the table while others just told me "they would significantly lower our rates". Being a very d
Carlyn was amazing and such a great help to our practice. Everything was done in a timely manner and she made transitioning to the Clover very easy. The set up was quick and simple, and she went over all the details perfectly. We love our new Clover, thank you Carlyn!
After a couple unfortunate encounters with Credit Card Processors, I received a call from Geoff Ward. After several months and follow up calls from Geoff we switched our credit card processing to DataFi. Wish I had done it sooner. The first truly professional, responsive person I had met in the industry. I HIGHLY recommend DataFi and Geoff Ward in particular. You won't be disappointed.
I was very reluctant to change processors. Been burnt so many times over the years looking for the perfect fit and pricing structure. Can't tell you how smooth it was working with Carlyn. She showed us how to save precious dollars with the way we need to input transactions in our business. She was great to work with and made the transition simple and easy to understand. I feel good about making this decision and joining forces with her and Datafi. It was a snap!
I am so happy I changed after all this time. Carlyn cut my rates in half and helped me close out the multiple accounts I had open for too long. Data Fi Payments and Carlyn really help me and my business. HIGHLY Recommend! -Quality Automotive in Costa Mesa
DataFi Payments has been the best choice I have ever made for my business ! The products I was offered along with the New POS Equipment has not only saved me over $2000 a month in savings but has simplified the way my company operates. We utilize a brand new inventory application that racks my products with ease. Along with the amazing customer service I have been provided since the beginning I will be a loyal customer for life! Thank you guys for everything you have done for me and my business!
DataFi has been an exceptional business partner to work with. Travis and Cole are easy to reach, transparent, and give me confidence for myself and my customers. Highly recommend!!!
Carlyn gave me a better quote on my processing. Saved over 200$ a month in fees. Less then few days i was up and running. Excellent customer service I will deff refer more businesses to her. Thanks a bunch
DataFi Payments have been great to work with. They really cared about our concerns and came up with the perfect solution- and- it saved us money! Cole DeVitis is amazing to work with and really cares about his clients. This has been a great experience.
At first I was skeptical when someone had referred me to DataFi saying that they would help save me money. I looked at it as another sales pitch just to get me in the door, but after working with Carlyn and seeing my monthly statements I realized that Data Fi payments actually do what they say as far as helping us save money and giving us the support we need. I noticed immediately that I will be saving money by using their services. I am very pleased and definitely would refer this company to other business
I recommended DataFi Payments to my brother in law who was in search of a new provider because he was getting horrible rates. Needless to say, he cannot stop thanking me. You can't go wrong with this company. Professional and easy to work with. Ask for Carlyn!
I have been with Datafi payments for the past 6 month , This credit card processing company with their agent Carlyn Horsley provide outstanding service and great rate for their customers . I highly recommend this company especially the above agent that went above and beyond and drove 100 mile back and forth to get us a new pin pad for our business . Thanks Eddie M
After many years of processing with another company, Travis showed me where we SHOULD be saving money and were not. I immediately terminated my service and switched to Datafi, Have not had one regret!!!! Travis even calls from time to time to make sure everything is ok, If you have any idea how rare that type of service is, You should call Travis and let him show you what he can do for you. Been in business 30+ years and have been getting fleeced by credit card processors all that time. To this day, my phone rings at least every hour by people pushing merchant services and you cannot trust any of them. The last go-round was with a processor that kept changing or "updating" the machinery, always costing me more and more money.. The bill for processing was roughly $3,500.00 every month+ $69.00 for leasing the machine. I would call the rep and demand a lower rate every time I got my statement, hi
System is very user friendly. Website is easy to navigate . The fees are reasonable compared to other processing companies. It took us awhile to switch to Datafi but we are happy with the change and the money saved.
Not only is Carlyn extremely knowledgable, kind and easy to work with, Datafi saved us almost $ 1000.00 in precessing fees last month over B of A!! Call them and switch today!!!!
Carlyn is the best! Set me up super fast, beat my old competitors rates and always there when I have any questions!
Great customer service. Carlyn is outstanding and responds quickly to any questions we have. Highly recommended and excellent rates. Saving money monthly!
The Datafi Payments company has excellent service . Personel is Curteous and very responsible with our account. our rates are were lower and no hiden fees.
Geoff is so quick to call back and really helped us get the process moving. We are already benefiting from the change. Thanks Geoff!
Was sweet and simple ?? Carlyn was a easy going and very educated on the equipment. Did a FABULOUS JOB!!!
Geoffrey Ward has been a pleasure to work with, so glad we finally made the switch!

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
