Their team walked me through each step without rushing and always checked in on my progress.
I read Lucas 1 star review. I was just trying to research this company for personal interest but I already know that his review is skewed. The way to settle debt is to intentionally miss payments instead of struggling each month to cover them. Intentionally missing payments sends a signal to the lender that you are on the verge of filing bankruptcy. Chances are if you are here, you are already close. After missing a payment, the lender will contact you to settle. This is what this company does for you, I be
I didn't know who or what I could trust. I was very skeptical to start but after speaking with the certified debt specialists at Debt Advisors of America, I felt a sense of relief. Talking about debt to complete strangers was a foreign concept. After several conversations and opening up my situation to these professionals, they made me feel like family. I highly recommend using their free consultations, to see if they have options to fit your specific situation. Thank you DAA!!!
Debt Advisors of America, I can't thank you guys enough for all the things you have done for me. You guys made an incredibly stressful and tough time for me, a breeze. As a single mom I had been struggling for a while and was scared, prideful, and skeptical to reach out for help. I am grateful to be in the position that I am in now. Now i am able to enjoy my hard earned money with my little one. Thank you all for your help and making me feel like family.
Good experience overall. They made it easier to deal with something that was very stressful.
I've been a Certified Debt Consultant with this company since December of 2019 and I love my job. It's a fun culture with many great opportunities for all walks of life and I sleep good at night, knowing that we're helping to make a positive difference in peoples financial situation! Like every major Debt Relief Company that is a major Debt Relief Company, they also send mailers out to educate and inform consumers. Most people who receive those offers are not offended by them. The majority of calls I fiel
Thanks to their advice and structure, I've already paid off 3 credit cards!
I have not worked with this company, but I am giving them a poor review based on the letter I received from them, which uses deceit and scare tactics to try to get people to call them. In the letter, they said I had 10 days to call them regarding the adjustment of my credit accounts. Further down the letter, in bold print, it said that failure to respond and making my min payment would result in interest accruing at an unreasonable rate, and that penalties may also accur, and to contact their office with 10
spoke to Walter at DA and he was very helpful and answered all our questions and concerns. I was a little skeptical but I am positive and hopeful my credit will be under control with the program I am enrolled it. It has taken a load off my mind when it comes with paying the debt. thank you so much!
Incredibly helpful team that goes above and beyond. Very satisfied.

I wish I found them sooner. This has been a game changer for my family
Debt advisors of america explained every step clearly and every pressures me highil recommended
They always take the time to explain everything and answer my question
This place needs to be investigated for shady practices. Very scammy letter targeting the elderly and financially illiterate. I called in to see how they were going to go about this and got connected with a pushy "agent" trying to sign me up for debt settlement. No effing thanks because I would never trust a company that fishes for people to call in instead of being direct with their intentions. They say that you may have a balance with a list of the top 10 creditors LOL. Of course I do along with about 80%
Debt Advisors of America provided exceptional guidance throughout my credit counseling journey. Their team demonstrated deep knowledge and expertise in financial management, offering personalized solutions tailored to my specific needs.
I did not sign up because the debt advisor is very pushy and rude. Made me very skeptical when I said I needed to review the contract on my own before making a decision. Apparently agreement is not available to view independently. Seems like they want you to sign up blindly without making a personal informed decision.
It's been a year since I started, and I've already made huge progress. Thank you!
If you asked me three years ago what my plan was to get out of debt, I would have no idea where to start. Today I just received my last settlement and will be completely debt free in three months! I was scheduled to be paying these for over ten years and spending almost double as much monthly. I've saved over $10k in monthly payments alone. I can't thank Debt Advisors of America enough for getting my finances back on track.
Called them to get OFF their mailing list and was met with the rudest customer service guy I've ever talked to who wouldn't let me get off the mailing list without grilling me about all kinds of things.
I'm grateful for the assistance from Debt Advisors of America in connecting me with a reliable debt restructuring partner. Thank you for helping me take steps towards financial freedom.
I was not very happy with the letter notice I received from this company. The letter is framed to look like a collections agency when in fact they offer a loan consolidation service. If you are not interested in this service, do not feel obligated to pay. Also, I asked the service representative what the company does and she didn't want to tell me. Very shady.
I never would have gone thru a debt consolidation if i didnt have a family member walk me thru it, and recommend Debt Advisors of America. Thank you Charles Morrison and Mark Turner for taking the heavy weight off my shoulders and getting my finances under control. Thank you for every update along the way. Your professionalism, ethics, and even your kindness are unmatched. I would absolutely recommend to my family, friends.
Worried about enrolling in a debt settlement program? Don't be! Debt Advisors of America made the process easy and stress-free. They handled my unsecured debts professionally.
I was impressed with how thorough Debt Advisors of America was in gathering my personal information to determine the best consolidation plan. Their attention to detail and personalized approach made all the difference.
This company sends a sketchy notice flagged 'failure to respond' regarding some mythical amount of debt you either do not have or do not need their assistance with. They cannot tell you what institution thinks that you owe money to. They told me I owe XXX for credit cards, maybe. I don't have a credit card. Closed them out years ago. Their website phone number is for their 'negotiation' center -not an actual business phone number. The Better Business Bureau was not aware that the phone number provided is bo

Received the same letter as previous reviewers. Scared at first because it sounds like you owe money but after reading the fine print it has the company name listed.
Do not use this company all lies ??
FRAUDULENT COMPANY. Do not give Debt Advisors of America any of your personal information. This company is unethical and operates under illegal practices. If you receive a notice from them, report it to the BBB.

Do not fall for this. I received a predatory letter that was very vague, no physical address and they make it look like a collection letter. They are fishing. Do not contact!

I can't thank Debt Advisors of America enough! Their customized approach to my financial situation was a game-changer.
After going through the process of clearing my debt I have to say I'm very thankful. My representative Marco was caring and very knowledgeable.
Very misleading "cold call" letter, very predatory. Would not do business with them now if they were the only company doing this.
It took 3 years, but our business debt was settled for less than what they was estimated. Thank you
Expert guidance and support were provided by Debt Advisors of America in navigating the complexities of debt restructuring.
I was hesitant at first, but Debt Advisors of America put my mind at ease with their expertise and professionalism.
Fraudulent DO NOT EVEN CALL. Wished I had Googled this Debt Advisors of America before calling
Horrible service very aregant and wanted me to provide him with my personal information. This is a scam.
Don't fall for the letter they send. It's a SCAM!!!
Sending out scam threat letters that include false information, should be against the law.
I don't need your solicitation for my debt. About as bad as the car warranty calls.
One star is way too much, in my book a O!! They are the worst, and they know it.
Thankful for a wonderful friend to help guide me through the process !
Don't do it These guys going to keep all your founds
Unsolicited letters with no proper physical address. They don't have any proper information.
Everything was explained to me in a simple way. Not confusing like other places I try before. Glad I gave them a chance.

So far everything they told me is going like they said. No surprises. That builds trust.
They speak clear, no fancy words. Just real help. It matter a lot when you're in stress.
They didn't just talk, they actually helped. I had a lot of question and they explain with patience every time.
They answer calls quick and don't make you wait long. Was suprised how easy it was to talk with them about my debt.
I got tired of the stress every month. After joining, things got more clear. Still long way to go, but I'm not lost anymore.
Not the type to write reviews but felt like I should. They treat people good, explain stuff without making you feel dumb.
The process took time but worth it. I was scared at the beginning but they made it easy to follow. Really thankful.
The staff was polite and always answered my emails. I liked that I could ask anything and not feel judged.
Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
