DeVry College of New York

I have been attending DeVry for almost a year now. My counselor Jamie and the VA rep Gabe have been excellent. Gabe has changed my classes to fit my needs and time lines. I pushed off Statistics tell the July session. I am glad I did because Dr. Shannon Burton was the best prof. I have ever had. He made complex problems look easy and he made them easy to understand to be able to complete the assignments. His love for teaching showed each time he stepped into the class room.

I have been attending DeVry for a while now and Diane and Gabe were two people that were absolutely amazing and very helpful!! Diane has this warm energy and she helped me by walking me through steps and taking the time out to explain to me the classes I needed to continue my education. I am currently a student at Keller graduate school of management in the Manhattan campus pursuing an MBA degree. The counselors are extremely knowledgeable about the different programs that DeVry has to offer and they truly care about the students needs. Because of their guidance I was not only able to find the right program to pursue my degree in but they also helped me apply a scholarship which went towards paying my tuition. I matriculated to Devry in early fall 2018 and I must say the experience has been nothing short of perfect. DeVry has excellent advisors and extremely knowledgeable professors and academic staff. DeVry school of New York has given me an amazing experience of the new technology infused education. With good education, I have also gained some first hand knowledge about the use of some important technologies that increases the ease of understanding. DeVry also offers online classes which is as good as on site classes, thanks to the advanced technology that DeVry uses. Professors and the advisors are really helpful and supportive, never hesitates to help.

I was Very disappointed in my experience with this school. They promised to help you in any way possible but you get no help at all. You have a financial advisor that is suppose to manage your financial aid, instead you have to manage it yourself. You set up an appointment with a Career advisor, all she does is look at your resume, make some corrections, and makes you leave her office in 10 minutes. I like many older students had to re-learn how to go to school, due to taking Online/OnLive classes. I'm from the era of having a teacher in a classroom and that's it. But Devry offers both, which makes it convenient to possibly choose to either take the class online or head to the school for class. Don't get me wrong the Courses are tough and very demanding but if your willing to put in your part 100% then you'll make it. The first two years was frustrating due schedule changes correlated to the manitiory class registration. There were times when you were informed a week before the start of the semster that your class was canceled because not enough people signed up. Everything from enrollment to graduation was very easy and the advisors are really there to guide and help you. Depending on the class and professor, the class work can be cumbersome but the teachers are helpful and understand each student individually.

The entire team at DeVry, from top to bottom, is outstanding !!! Your education is their priority and they will do whatever it takes to ensure you have an exceptional experience that meets all of your needs !!! Students come first.

Devry, Keller School of Graduate in Manhattan is a highly recommended school. Its approach is pact with practical application. The DSO is very accommodating and easy to talk to. This school is free from requirements complications and school works toxicity especially if you are working or have a family.

The IT Dept at the MADISON AVE location is by definition a small team with big responsibilities. It seems like the staff is always getting smaller and smaller and the responsibilities continue to expand and increase. How ever they do it, KEEP UP THE WORK and keep making it look easy.

I been a VA student here for 2 years. So far it's been great. Classes have been great and student advisors have been friendly and proffesional.

Beware of all for profit schools they will take ur money. You will not get a good education, you will be in debt and you will have an unemployable diploma.

Pay all this money to spend 2+ hours in a class, then have to complete mandatory discussions online...Why am I spending that long in a class to just sit there and to have most of my graded assignments come from homework or online discussions for a class you go to physically. It's asinine...
