Tax season can be anxiety-inducing and overwhelming, but it doesn?t have to be. Bob reached out as soon as I was referred to him and set up a time to connect the very next day. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough in answering my questions. He explained complex tax processes in a way that made sense to me and ensured I understood every step before moving forward. Bob was upfront about the stakes of my situation and provided a realistic solution and timeline. His expertise and clear communi
We were with them several years! They are very good with our Taxes. Communications was a bit of an issue. But the biggest problem was the major increase in cost increase, $400 to $600, which just took us Senior Citizens and Disabled Veteran out of being able to use them! Bob likes hookibg clients but I believe he must be a catch and release type!
Bob helped me solve my issue before our free consultation was even halfway over! He is knowledgeable, very friendly, and highly effective. I recommend his services to anyone in need of them!
I appreciated the time Bob took to discuss my situation and even if he wasn't able to help with my specific taxes, he was able to offer very helpful information for me to look into with regards to life insurance, wills and trusts. After working with thousands of people over his career, he has seen a pattern of "I wish someone would have told me" once it was too late. With the information he shared, hopefully I won't have to say that someday. Thank you, Bob, for your kindness and going above and beyond!
Bob was incredibly helpful, even after it became clear that I could not afford to engage him. He continued to explore options with me. He was incredibly generous with his time.
Fix Your Tax Problem has been extremely helpful in helping with my tax issues. Bob Crane is very patient and understanding during consulting which make it a pleasure to work with him. His team is very helpful and responsive to your situation and they are there to help and work with you. Highly recommend their services.
Bob Crane was so helpful, even his voice lulled me to a calmer state where I felt I could deal with the IRS regarding my late husband's taxes. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy. In a 40-minute free consult, I received the info needed to navigate a phone call with the IRS that I had been putting off. If I can't resolve myself, I'm assured that Bob can. Highly recommended.
Bob Crane knows his stuff. I had a 401 retirement issue that I ended up owing the IRS for and Bob explained to me how I ended up in the situation and how to fix it. It was quite an eye opener and I wish I knew this stuff before I borrowed any money. If you need help, He's your man.
I found Bob Crane to be extremely helpful in explaining who I really should be consulting with. He was kind enough to refer me to a fellow colleague which I thought to be especially gracious of him. He took the time to thoughtfully and plainly explain what he does and what I need by asking a number of pertinent questions. Thank you Bob, for the help and referrals~
There honestly are not enough stars to rate Bob's help. I was considerably stressed out when I contacted him but the combination of his vast knowledge of taxes and the IRS along with his calm demeanor were so helpful. I was able to calm down and he guided me through my options. I've already started acting on his recommendations and feel like I'm not going into this blindly and that I know how to handle this situation. I'm so grateful to Bob!
Very informative! No scam or fraud. Very helpful, was referral through my employment assistance program! Would highly recommend

Bob Crane at Fix Your Tax Problem, Inc is wonderful! He is very knowledgeable and personable; with all the answers you would need to get your issues squared away. His sense of humor is very welcoming and takes the stress of the situation to a healthier level. His assistant Angela is very helpful and makes scheduling a breeze while having great care with her follow-ups. I am very thankful to have received their help and would recommend them to anyone with outstanding IRS issues.
I spoke with Bob Crane about my difficult tax situation. He was clear, insightful, sympathetic, and calming (with a very good sense of humor. He explained the process of the tax repayment plans at the state and federal level. In the process, he explained to me the illusion behind some of the more predatory tax remedy organizations marketed online and over the airwaves. I found my conversation with Bob illuminating, instructive, and (honestly) comforting. Highly recommend contacting Bob and his team before a
Bob was extremely helpful! He provided all available options I have in regard to a large tax bill due, and pointed in me the right direction. Bob?s advice saved me a lot of time and reduced my stress level. I highly recommend his services. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Bob Crane has been helping our family with our taxes for years. He is kind, patient, and he has excellent communication. He did and Offer and Compromise for my Mom in 2015. She owed thousands of dollars to the IRS and Bob was able to explain her situation and advocate for her to the IRS. She ended up paying a small portion of what she owed, thanks to Bob. Bob is now helping me in 2023 with my Innocent Spouse case with the IRS and I know we have a successful outcome. Highly recommend FYTP and Bob Crane. 5/5
I thought I was in deep trouble with an LLC, but Bob Crane the consultant, has helped tremendously and gave me all the details that I need in order to make things right again. He gives a lot of advice and pointers that I would have never known. If starting a business I would highly recommend everyone here as they are very helpful with everything and provides free advice that can help you stay out of trouble.
Bob was so efficient and assessing my tax challenge and he was able to point me in the right direction in under 5 minutes. I spend years stressing over the issue when all I needed to do was reach out to Fix Your Tax Problem Inc.
Deceitful and dishonest! Be careful what Bob says to you! Make sure that documents that you sign are completed by the licensed individual, especially that the years of taxes are written down. Question everything you are told with proof! I paid him for nothing, waste of time money and now my finances are worst than prior to hiring the company. He also said I wouldn't have to pay all the debt if I did a payment arrangement however after he refuses to negotiate or advocate for me, the payment plan is such tha
From small problems to major issues, Bob Crane and Fix Your Tax Problem are the best. Imagine sitting for hours on hold with the IRS only to have your call dropped once the line gets through or the agent puts you on hold. Imagine doing this over and over and over again for three days straight. Now imagine having someone shepherd you through the desert that is the IRS phone system and getting you the answers you need. And getting it done within an hour! Peace of mind in dealing with the most difficult organi

Was referred by My Secure Advantage. After calling, they set up a time to call me back. But at that time, THAT THEY SELECTED, I never recieved a call. Half hour goes by and I try calling and they don't answer. An hour later still nothing. Finally they call back but could Robert crane couldn't answer any of my questions directly, instead rambling on for minutes about things not related to what i asked. It was like pulling teeth to get him to admit he doesn't know anything about my issue. Complete waste of
Bob gave such great advice and I feel confident with his action plan. Thanks again! Would 10/10 recommend his services to anyone who needs tax help
I've been using Fix Your Tax Problem's (FYTP) services for several years now and have found them to be excellent! Pricing is quite reasonable, with a nice discount for early opt-in for an upcoming year's tax returns and great customer service. Most recently, IRS had not sent a check for overpayment of a previous year's installment agreement, and I could not get anywhere with IRS to find out where it was. Truly frustrating to say the least! Just then, I remembered that at least one of the great people at FYT
Mr Crane was very helpful and professional. The initial consultation gave me the info I needed to address my tax situations.
I recommend Bob hands down - he gave me so much valuable advice and recommendations that left a positive impact on me, finances for myself, my husband and our family. Huge thank you Bob!
I was never behind on filing taxes before. It's very stressful when you get to a point where you don't know what to do first. Bob gave me a plan and put my mind at ease. Thank you!!!!
I would like to share the outstanding job that FYTP did for me. They are a top notch company, they handled my situation with care and incredible patience, that my circumstances required. They were all very professional, and were able to handle, any and all, problems that my situation threw at them. It took some doing on their part, to achieve an outcome that is in my opinion, like winning the lottery. I highly recommend, and would only recommend, FYTP for any and all circumstances that one might have with a

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
