We have entrusted our retirement investment savings to Fullerton Financial Services for a year now and we are pleased with the service. We love working with Zach. He is incredibly knowledgeable and we trust he has our best interest at heart. He takes the time to listen to our questions and has always provided us with great advice. The office staff are super friendly and professional. They always go out of their way to make us feel comfortable and special every time we visit the office. We are also very

I very highly recommend Fullerton Financial Planning. I feel truly blessed to have found this company and to have Bill Drogo as our Financial Advisor. Bill is kind, professional, and cleary goes above and beyond. He spent quite a bit of time meeting with my husband and I to develop a plan for us that fits our needs and will help us fulfill our goals. Twice he stayed after hours to be sure we had all the time we needed to finish our conversations. Fullerton also provided us full estate planning services w

We have had a great relationship with Fullerton. First with Drew then after he retired, Zach Tobey. They both took the time to thoroughly understand our financial goals for retirement and work with us to set up a plan to reach those goals. They are also always keeping us up on the latest new tools and strategies to reach those financial planning goals. I would definitely recommend Fullerton and Zach Tobey to anyone wanting help with planning their financial future.

From the first time we met with Fullerton we felt we made a good decision. You will feel confident in using all of their services and know they have your best interest in mind. With all of their services, it just makes life so much easier knowing it's a one stop shop for all of our future planning. We do not hesitate to pick up the phone and ask our advisor questions that may arise. We have nothing but good things to say about all of Fullerton Financial and all the services they offer. Top notch profess

Fullerton Financial has been a blessing concerning our finances. They have taken time to help us understand what we'll need for the future. We are relaxed knowing that our money is secure in the choices we've made, due to their expert advice. It was the BEST decision we ever made!

Tyler was great. We met for a consultation and he offered great advice and encouragement. He listened and helped to come up with a plan together and took into account my needs and concerns. Highly recommend.

The Fullerton Financial team has been very helpful to our retirement plan. Steve has been a great asset to our planning and is quite knowledgeable about our portfolio. Would recommend Fullerton Financial to everyone who is in retirement or coming to their retirement age.

Fullerton has an extremely professional financial advisors. They take the time to explain investment options. They also offer other important services that benefit retirement planning. Always leave meetings feeling more informed.

I was hesitant to invest my nest egg at first because of the volatility of the market. Zach with Fullerton went above and beyond and explained all the options available to me and even helped me with my works 457a prior to me even signing up. He's been a wealth of information and I have grown more confident in my future retirement plans with Fullerton's help.

Our financial planner Dallas Fox has been awesome to work with. The entire staff have been great. Always receive a warm welcome.

The entire team at Fullerton Financial are helpful, prompt, knowledgeable and sincerely make me feel I'm a valued client. I have had several financial advisors in the past but none put together a comprehensive retirement plan and gave me the confidence I could retire. I have been with Fullerton for 5 + years and am very happy with my decision. As a result, I have recommended 5 other clients to make the switch. The Fullerton team is the best!

We have been a part of the Fullerton Financial Planning family for several years. We discoverd them at one of their client events. We didn't feel pressured to meet with them, but their representatives at the event seemed so genuine and trustworthy we decided it wouldn't hurt to hear what they had to say. One meeting and that's all it took to gain our confidence. We are so fortunate and feel blessed to be part of their family. Their first priority is to do what's best for us, and they have far exceeded our e

Received the most irritating experience at Fullerton Financial Planning dinner meeting. Front check-in lady needs to get better training in client building skills. She is extremely bossy!! acting like a boss around potential clients. My husband and I left with a STRONG NEGATIVE impression.

When I decided I needed a new financial planner, I decided to interview with multiple advisors to be sure I had the right fit. I chose to include someone from Fullerton Financial based on their radio show I have enjoyed. I met with Stephanie Fullerton multiple times and was so impressed. She want through my previous year's taxes and the financial statements of investments. She was so attentive to details and actually noticed a discrepancy between a projection and most recent statement. She has an amaz

From day one when I met Stephanie Fullerton, I was impressed not only with the company, but the staff as well. It is evident that Steve and Stephanie value and appreciate their employees and their customers. Fullerton Financial Planning is a family-owned business and they treat their employees and customers like family. I know I feel that way!

I love our team at Fullerton! They are always there for us and never pushing for anything. It's a great company to have watching my investments!

Lots of turnover. Long delays in getting back to us with questions regarding investment options and tax scenarios. Very nice people, I hope Fullerton does well in the future.

I have been with two other Financial Services over the years; they were really glad to take my money but did not offer the personal service that I have received from Fullerton. Fullerton Financial service and dedication is an amazing experience. I love the fact that they give back to the community and allow the clients to join in.

Anyone who ever plans to retire should visit Fullerton FP. I am very glad I did. I did a good job saving for retirement, but when it started getting close to retirement I realized I had no idea how to structure my holdings for actual retirement. I checked out several other places offering financial planning and they all proved less than satisfactory (to be polite). Steve and Stephanie Fullerton know what they are doing and are committed to making the best possible retirement for their clients. I trust them

My wife and I had Fullerton review our financial situation and gave us great choices how to go forward. They have your best interest at heart! Strongly recommend this company!

The team at Fullerton Financial are top tier performers. We have used other Financial Planners, and the folks at Fullerton are a step above. They take the time to understand your needs, and thru a very collaborative process with the client, develop a customized plan and conduct regular reviews to evaluate/make adjustments. Kudos to the owners and the team at Fullerton Financial. Thanks!!

Scott Prebel and the entire team at Fullerton have helped me to retire with peace of mind and I feel as if I would not be in the position I am today if not for Fullerton. I don't have a lot, and yet you have secured me enough to live ad to thrive on. In the short time my wife and I have been associated with Fullerton, not only can I live peacefully knowing I can make it, but I've also come to feel like I've gained a friend who has my back. Thank you to every one.

Before we were with Fullerton Financial we were with another financial institution that did us more harm then help. Due to all of the harm we endured, we interviewed and researched many financial planners and financial institutions . It took us at least a month to decide to go with Erick at Fullerton Financial. We could not have made a better decision. Erick is amazing! When we leave him a message he is quick to return our calls and always has an answer. Right now Erick is working very hard on making ou

I am so thankful I made a decision to become a part of the Fullerton family. From the time I walked in the door, I met the First Impressions Concierge Associate, Christine Pitrat and she immediately made me feel like a close friend. Once I met Drew McKaig, I knew I was in very reliable and competent hands and my investment could be entrusted to this group of highly capable people. I feel confident my retirement is in good hands and I will not need to worry about my finances as I slip into full retirement

We have used Fullerton for a few years now and Steve and everyone there quite knowledgeable about our situation giving the good suggestions and the not so good actions we can make for the correct results we can get. Fullerton is top of the line Outstanding. v/R Jim Cosgrove Lebanon, Tn

The first and not best experience. If you don't have millions you're trying too invest for a very long term they don't want to deal with you, when they ask how often you would like to meet to discuss different options with your account- don't look to far into it because they don't contact you on a regular basis like they agreed in the first meeting. When someone retires please let us know ahead of time so our account doesn't fall into the hands of a newly hired inexperienced college graduate. Very good firs

Stephanie and her team at Fullerton Financial Planning are great. It's been a pleasure working with them. Their experience and knowledge in the industry is top notch.

There isn't a star on the negative side of the scale. Why, because when a person gives a meeting like I attended and gives high hopes to all who attend, then turned them down in the office meeting because they don't have enough money to invest, it makes them a liar. In her own brochure It states "There's no greater satisfaction than I have at the end of an appointment when I know that I've really truly placed these retirees and seniors into a place of safety and preservation" but this only holds true if y

We have been clients of Fullerton Financial over 3 years now and it has been a pleasure dealing with Drew and Leslie. Always professional and willing to help and give you information.

I have met with perhaps 8 advisors over the last decade and Stephanie was the only advisor who stressed tax burden in designing a plan. She was the only person who advised me to break up a large pretax annuity so I could convert some of the funds to Roth which will further reduce my taxes.

Not sure why all of these reviews are negative. Thankfully none of them are fraud related. Just possibly misheard information or sound like upkeeping. I can proudly and confidentially say our friends and family have had the best service and help from the team there. Patient and reliable. Been a huge help during a much needed time. Google Reviews have become jaded- one end of the scope is a bunch of angry, whiny individuals, and the other end is inflated with business like practices pumping PR moves to resto

My financial advisor Zach Tobey called at the scheduled appointment time and went over the previous information sent to me prior to the appointment. The discussion was thorough and was followed up with information I requested.

Experience was not good. One they had my $$$ I never heard from them. I lost 5k in a month. I pulled my $$$ out. Never asked why or anything. They didn't care! I'm also with another firm who I hear from quarterly.

Really disappointed in what they did when they took over the my account. I had moved my accounts to another company so I can meet my financial needs.

Great advice catered to my needs and situation. Everyone is very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend their services.

they're not making money that's for sure, thinking about moving on to another so called financial advisor!

If you are not a high roller they are not interested in you and don't inform you about your investments. I have now lost a lot of money due to bad investments from their side and lack of communications from them.

Never got to know them as a company. Made an appointment which they took as permission to spam me without permission for things I had no interest in. I asked them to stop. They didn't. Do not give your email address to them.

I have been very comfortable and welcomed doing business with everyone here. They are like a big family and are always on top of whatever items arise.

A DEFINITE leader in the financial world. There are no others in the area that come close to what they offer. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Fullerton goes above and beyond to help!

Great wealth of knowledge, faith based!! Huge!!!

Professional and friendly.

Frequently Asked Questions

What qualifications should I look for in a CPA?

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.

How do I find a CPA in my area?

Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.

What’s the difference between a CPA and an accountant?

A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.

How do I know if a CPA specializes in my needs?

Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.

Should I check a CPA’s reviews before hiring?

Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.

How can I verify a CPA’s license?

Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.

What questions should I ask during a CPA consultation?

Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.

How much should I expect to pay for a CPA’s services?

Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.

Can I work with a CPA remotely?

Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.

How do I assess a CPA’s communication skills?

During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.

What red flags should I watch for when screening a CPA?

Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.

Should I choose a CPA from a large firm or a solo practitioner?

Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.

How often should I meet with my CPA?

For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.

Can a CPA help with both personal and business finances?

Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.

What should I do if I’m not satisfied with my CPA?

Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
