Huddleston Tax CPAs made this year?s tax filing a breeze?quick, accurate, and leaps ahead of the other firms I?ve tried in the past. I was so impressed that I?ve already recommended them to friends and family. They?ve earned my complete trust for all future returns, and I?m happy to chat with any prospective client who wants to hear first?hand about my experience.
I believe there are several offices but I was able to do everything remotely, from zoom meeting to uploading docs and emailing. Ying was so great with scheduling to getting me to the right CPA quickly. Jessica their senior CPA was knowledgeable, direct and to the point with her review not missing a single detail while being price conscious of the time it took her. I hired her for a review of prior filing as well as for tax advising. Highly recommend Jessica!
Over the past couple of years, we have thoroughly enjoyed working with Janet Warnick at Huddleston Tax CPAs - she is a gem! She is extremely knowledgeable and helped us with easy-to-understand explanations whenever we had questions. She also gave us great advice for future years/returns. If any of my WA friends ever want to change to a different CPA, I highly recommend Janet at Huddleston Tax CPAs.
He's a crook. Review was very clear about what was required to file. All sources of income provided with complicated tax situations presented. He provided a very clear estimate but still goes way over the estimate and then has the audacity to blame us for not representing our tax situation properly in the initial review. YET never once stopped to say any of this was new information to him. Just sends an exorbitant bill we were not ready for. This was all just for two W2's and some minor self employment inc
I had contacted Huddleston Tax CPAs to schedule an appointment to receive tax guidance. Jim Gianelli returned my phone call to inquire about my needs and he willingly provided me with so much unexpected guidance. He felt there was no need for me to pay a CPA to address my concerns. I am so grateful for Jim and his kindness.
One year ago my husband and I took the daunting leap into self-employment, neither of us having operated a business before. Working with Huddleston Tax CPAs has been, by far, one of the best decisions we've made since then. We've been very fortunate to work with Grace who has not only done a phenomenal job filing our returns but who is always there to answer any questions. We feel like we have a genuine, trustworthy partner on our side to help lead us through the tax maze. We've already recommended Huddlest
I have worked with Huddleston Tax CPAs for many years. They make the sometimes challenging work of getting your taxes done very easy. They are prompt, responsive and do great work. I have used them in several states. John was even able to take care of an IRS error for me. It was quick and painless. I recommend Huddleston Tax CPAs to everyone.
John Huddleston's tax service is the very best. Professional, courteous, timely and demonstrates their in-depth knowledge of tax preparation. Years ago, I used to prepare my own taxes using software. As things became more complex, I decided to try John's service. After one session, I would never go to anyone else because peace of mind is important to me. John and his staff give me that peace of mind. I am now a 3rd year customer and will be for years to come. Thank you.
Huddleston Tax CPA's did an excellent job of helping us on a number of complex individual tax return issues. They were friendly, did what they said they would do, easy to communicate with, prompt at responding and following up with action. As a new first time customer, they fit us into their schedule during the busy tax season, and started helping us immediately. Our tax preparer Lili, is the most skilled tax professional we have dealt with so far, and also a very friendly person. Nice to have found a g
Jim was incredibly kind and helpful. He made sure I understood all my options in a particularly unusual situation. He has the best intentions for his client in mind. In addition to a very detailed meeting, he followed up with an email recapping everything discussed. I would trust Jim with my future tax needs.
At a free consultation it was suggested my tax preparation was simple enough that I could do it myself. They offered an hour of consulting time to review it if I would like, rather than charging me much more to do the preparation for me. I appreciated the honesty and customer service provided. I feel more confident in my filings knowing that I can pay for a second opinion if that is all that is needed.
After doing my taxes for 14 plus years I reached out to Huddleston for assistance. They were very easy to work with and were very responsive to all of my questions via phone and email. I would definitely recommend them to anyone based on my very positive experience.
I appreciate the prompt response to my tax return and questions. The instruction on next step after receiving my tax return was very helpful and easy to follow. I felt the price was fair based on what I needed done. John was responsive and very willing to help answer my future/potential tax payment due to the pending sale of my investment property. Definitely will use them again.
I first started my interaction with Huddleston Tax by my initial consultation with Shawn. I told her immediately during the meeting that I don't really understand much about the tax process and that I have questions on how to possibly increase my tax deductibles for the year 2014 and 2015. Maybe I asked some of the dumbest questions she's ever encountered, because she was short with me, answered in tax jargon that confused me even more, and even laughed at some of my question. But even then, I thought well,
I had only a 30 min primary consultation with John Huddleston, but he definitely impressed me enough. He explained all my questions in layman's terms so I could easily understand all the tax rules easily. He was very friendly in manner so that I felt comfortable asking him more follow-up questions. He even contacted me afterwards to make sure I understood everything all right.
We just started a small business and John sent us an invitation for a free 30 minute consultation. He really helped clarify how our business structure ties into the taxes we pay, and tax questions that needed more specifics and research. I wouldn't say that John's isn't 5 stars, but we just met and only had 30 minutes. There is a good chance we will use John for our year end tax preparation; his rates are less than we paid our previous tax accountant 20 years ago.
I appreciate the prompt responses from the team at Huddleston Tax CPAs. This is my 1st time contacting them and I am very impressed by their professionalism. Janet at Huddleston was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I am looking forward to working with her. Thank you, Janet.
I worked with Shawn at Huddleston Tax. She is a very professional to work with and she always provides good insights into tax-rules. The one thing i want them to improve is speed up the filing process. So far i am happy with service and i want to continue work with them.
We started using John Huddleston and his team a while ago because our situation was a little more complex than a regular return. Without fail every year they finish our returns quickly and have years of our history which allows us to get the best results. We have always been happy with the outcome.
I am pleased to recommend Huddleston CPA firm for their expertise, extensive knowledge, timeliness and courtesy in completing a very complex tax return on behalf of Fruhling companies. The cost was more then reasonable and the frustration level was reduced to a minimum. We plan on utilizing Huddleston services even more. Larry Carron Chief Financial Officer
I tried several other tax preparers prior to finding Huddleston. I always found errors in the initial returns, and sometimes even more errors in revisions to the inital return. I have never found an error in the work done by Huddleston. The work gets done and is professionally returned on time. If I did not provide some needed data, a simple exchange of email is typically all that is needed to move forward. I am very pleased with Huddleston Tax CPAs.
I had a very pleasant and informative meeting with Huddleston Tax CPA's. I was working with Jim Gianelli and he as very knowledgeable and provided excellent information. I am planning on using Huddleston for my 2021 taxes.
My wife and I met with Jennifer Zhou on 4/3/2014. She is brilliant. Very calming and personable. Great attention to detail. I really appreciate her putting my mind at ease given the situation we presented her with. I feel as if I have someone to consult with regarding my tax liabilities. I love what I do. I am understanding more about the challenges of running your own business. Thank you Jennifer!
I do not recommend this company unless you want to get swindled. I contacted this company to file taxes, and after emailing and going over everything needed, they confirmed the range of their fees would be about $400. I later got a bill that was 3x the amount. They also took twice as long as they said it would take. They claimed my taxes were complicated, despite the fact we went over my tax filing situation before starting.
I had a consultation with John and was glad I did. He is very professional, open, and friendly and takes the time to explain tax related issues clearly. Additionally, he was not pushy or "salesy" whatsoever. He looked into my personal situation carefully in order to provide me with individual recommendations. I would recommend speaking with John if you have any interest in getting professional tax advice in the area.
I have to thank Jennifer Zhou for her quick response to our tax questions just before April 15th. She was sincerely friendly, extremely knowledgeable and very helpfully. Based on my conversation with her I was able to make an informed tax decision about the sale of our home. Thank you very much Jennifer.
It was great to work with Gary at Huddleston. I loved being able to work virtually and easily over email. It made the process easy and simple. This was our first year with Huddleston and plan to continue the relationship for the 2016 tax year.
Prepared 2020 personal tax return. Profoundly disappointed. Charged us 2.5x what I'd expect and wanted us to sign a return with major errors. After we rejected it, they corrected the mistakes so we went from $12k OWED to $3k REFUND. I shudder to think that we might have trusted them, especially when their bill was shockingly high. Oh, and communication was abysmal. Didn't say anything for weeks and when I insisted on an update 3 days before filing deadline, they just sent the signature request (with erroneo
We've worked with Huddleston Tax for over 8 years and love the expertise with tax codes and laws that they have. Jessica has been working on our account since the start and is awesome to work with.
I get personalized attention from everybody at this firm. They are always ready to answer questions and provide advice and feedback. John is extremely knowledgeable. I had a one-on-one with him where we brainstormed ideas for an hour and it was very enlightening. Plus their costs are reasonable. Highly recommend.
I hired Huddleston Tax CPAs to provide service for my business. John Huddleston and his staff were very professional and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them for all you tax service needs.
Jim Gianelli helped me navigate the intricacies of my personal financial situation with concise, clear delivery of all the critical points I needed to make an informed decision. I absolutely would recommend working with him to anyone and will do so myself again in the future!
I have tried the popular methods of tax filing such as DIY on paper, DIY on software, wait in the waiting room of HR Block. I was fortunate to come across Huddleston Tax consulting. This is the way to go and I wish someone had told me sooner. The rates are very reasonable as well.
Charged us almost triple original quote. We had a complicated return, which is why we sought a tax professional to start with. And I?m not saying they shouldn?t be paid for their time. But once beyond the original quote, a quick phone call to give us a heads up would have been the least they could do. Why a one star review? Because even after calling them multiple times to tell them we will never do business with them again, we continue to get mail from them telling us we need to come in to ?update our reco
John and his team have been a important part of our growth and sucess, with their reminders and attention in 8 years we are yet to be late on any tax deadlines. The service is great and the people very informative and friendly.
Huddleston Tax CPA's has always done a great job. Good referrals, good work and above all wants you to be successful. thank you John and staff.
Huddleston team has been a group of nice friendly people to work with. My taxes and any additional request for my business have always been completed as requested.
I am searching for a new CPA firm and came across Huddleston CPAs. They responded quickly and Janet had a 1/2 hour consultation with me to see if we are a good fit.
This is the company I can always trust and they are my number one choice whenever I have some kind of return filing related work. I am a big fan of this company's work ethics and professionalism. They are undoubtedly the best in this business.
Huddleston Tax CPA's are above par. Incredibly professional and help when need questions answered. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of a great accountant.
Grace at Huddleston made a huge difference in my tax situation. Owning a young business presents many new challenges. Taxes are not any longer our challenge thanks to Grace!
I have multiple unique situations that caused multiple tax accountants to scratch their heads. Janet at Huddleston instead had immediate answers and follow up questions that dug deeper. Very impressive!
I appreciate most of all that our Tax Returns are always prepared very quickly and professionally. If I have any question, I would receive a proper reply and good information in timely manner.
I'm very satisfied with my first meeting with Ms Jennifer Zhou at Huddelston Tax CPA. She kindly answered all of my questions and provided me with all the necessary information. I truly appreciate the time and help.
Jim Gianelli was awesome to work with, he had excellent communication and really went above and beyond. I would definitely use him again and recommend him.
Been using them for about 6 years or so. Very professional. I feel confident that my returns are done properly. Have an audit coming up so I'll know for sure after that!
Highly recommended! Professional! Great communication and easy to work with.
This was not the best firm - then as I learned more about doing business with Huddleston Tax CPAs I learned that the founder was disbarred as an attorney... Take your taxes and bookkeeping elsewhere
John knows his stuff, very knowledgeable in all aspects related to taxes, LLCs etc, very helpful. They have a nice office.
He claims he has all these locations around the eastside. It?s a scam. He has one tiny office in Kenmore and that?s all. And he works under the table. So talk about screwing paying your taxes
?Huddleston Tax CPA's are great. I value our 10+ year relationship, and the confidence I've developed as a result.?
I have setup a new company and went to Steven with so many questions. Steven is awesome. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful in advising
I am very pleased with the service I received. They are very knowledgeable and friendly.
Always able to get the best return. I recommend them highly.
I think this place might be closed. I called, emailed. Never heard back. Update: I received a call back, so they are very much open, just very busy.
Huddleston was great and I?ll use them again in the future.
Terrible communication and 4 times the cost of what an average return should cost. Stay away
Very promlpt and a good group of people to work with.
Knowledgeable; prompt; always available to answer qyestions
Very informative and professional service and consultation.
?Efficient, good communication by email.?
They met what they promised.
Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
