We used this company to file our amended returns for ERC. We have since received a notice from the IRS that we owe $13K. ERC Guaranteed | Sunrise Business Solutions will not return my calls or emails to get this resolved. We have been reaching out since December 2024.
This company IRS Plus is a joke!!!! They advertised that the IRS on average were processing SETC amended tax returns and paying them out on a 9 week time frame. Right at 16 weeks later the status of mine finally reflected something other than "we've received your amended return" as of October 9th to please call us at xxx-xxx-xxxx ext xxx. I can then only to find out that the 1040x they sent on my behalf was missing info and needed to be corrected, little did I know there was a 30 day time frame given for th
Got my SETC done here. Was quick, didn't need to upload too many docs, and got it filed in less than a week. Overall I'd have eto say I'm quite satisfied. Answered all my questions too and didn't charge me anything up front which made me feel more comfortable. Recommended. Thanks!
They quickly filed in less than a week, and I received so much more erc money than I did in PPP combined. I highly recommend you and that?s why I have already referred so many more friends of mine who own businesses.
They took care of my ERC filing after everyone else told me it was over. Was happy I didn?t miss the deadline. Worth it. My wife told me not to do it at first, as she was concerned this wasn?t a real thing. But we did some digging and called them to ask some questions. Felt much better after since they didn?t really pressure us and gave us good info that I could verify. Doesn?t hurt to check and see if you?re owed some funds.
We?re happy. Was pretty fast. Didn?t bug us for a bunch of extra paperwork, and we got approved. Did what I needed them to do, so yea, Id say recommended.
Did my SETC amendment incorrectly had to prove the correct usage of the SETC refund. Also they are NOT BBB ACCREDITED!
Absolute scam. Filed my claim in early March 2024, heard nothing for months. When I followed up, I was given a series of run-arounds, including being asked to resend my confidential information to a third party email address. The amount I owed the company kept changing, and when I finally contacted my credit card company to charge back the amount I paid them (via PayPal) they all of a sudden started harassing me for payment. Total waste of time and now I am worried that my personal information is now compro
Hi They did everything good with ERC application and I am waiting for my checks. The initial agreement was for 15% of everything that comes in. Then a few months ago they send an amendment saying the purpose of the amendment is to give them authorization to speak to IRS to expedite that application. They included a scare tactic that the ERC will run out and if you don?t sign for them to contact the IRS for you, you won?t get your money. It had a small change in wording snuck in there that also gives them th
These guys are well known for their in-depth, detail-oriented due diligence process. They are thorough, knowledgeable and quickly understand your business needs. I felt comfortable from the very beginning and highly recommend them.
The process was very simple and straight forward. We were given a complete breakdown of how much money we are getting. The entire process was very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
I like to get things done right, even if it costs a little more. But guess what? This company does a great job without charging too much. So there's no wasting time or money!
My opinion is to always turn to specialized service providers. That is Sunrise Business Solutions. They know the ERC process like the back of their hands and can get results for clients GUARANTEED. As a service provider (tax) myself, I need to know the best people to recommend and be able to trust that my clients will be taken care of. Which is what happens ? every single time. There are so many business clients that have told me ?oh we don?t qualify? and after I send them to Sunrise they realize they do! P

The team at Sunrise Business Solutions was a pleasure to work with, and they made the process of securing our tax credits much less stressful than we expected.
My experiences with their support staff have been excellent. 306. If you are looking for a well priced alternative to going DIY I'd definitely recommend them.
Sunrise is very thorough. They dig deep, analysing everything and presenting to you in one 100+ page report at the end.
I put all my information make a payment for the application and now they don't return my calls they don't reply to my emails, this is a total SCAM!!!
Weeks of being strung along and im fairly certain they've given my phone number to spammers. beware
I am certain that no other provider could have gotten me a better deal.
Incredibly efficient and can get you more than ERC competitors offer.
If there was a way to click More than 5 Stars I would.
I really appreciate your excellent service. Looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship.
We were very impressed with how quickly the person completed the job.

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
