I was looking for a new accountant to do my taxes and came across Kelly's website. I am so glad I decided to give her a try. The service and personal response I received was perfect. Kelly provided me with excellent advice for the next tax season. I will definitely be back next year.
Kelly is awesome ! She was very thorough and explained everything to us and helped us find all the deductions we could get. It took about an hour and she filed them the same day as well as giving us a printed copy of everything and everything on a thumb drive that she provided. Kelly also advised us on things we should look into for our financial future. We are looking forward to working with her again.
Kelly was extremely helpful, personable and accessible. She is very professional and does a fantastic job. When my wife and I got stuck in the web of the IRS, she help navigate our way back. I would recommend her to anyone.
Our original accountant retired last year and we looked online and we found KELLY and her staff. They are fast efficient and they have an app and you barely have to do anything. KELLY and their staff are the sweetest people and you ever want to meet and whatever questions you have there, quick to answer, I highly highly highly recommend them.
Kellyanne did an amazing job with my daughters taxes. Kelly is smart - efficient and excellent at her job! We love that she is a long time Randolph resident as well. We highly recommend her. I also love the tag: I kick taxes!
Can you say INSANELY GREAT experience?!? Eileen was awesome from the start. Communication is vital to any successful relationship and she nailed it from the first convo through completion.
Stay far far away. Had my personal taxes done by these folks, had to follow up multiple times to ensure my taxes were filed and they still filed late. These folks seemed nice but they?re overwhelmed and not staffed to take on more clients?that the reality here. I?d send an email, radio silence for 2 weeks, follow up again. I?d be told that it would be handled, radio silence again for two weeks. If you want your taxes filed properly without aggregation do not come here.
Kelly and her staff are the most professional accountants I have ever worked with and I work with accountants all the time in my field. Prompt service, knowledgeable, pleasant to work with and they offer GREAT advice. And all at a reasonable fee.
When my long-time accountant retired, I was dreading the search for a new accountant I could trust. I?m not skilled or knowledgeable in finances and would never consider doing my taxes myself. When I found Ms. Carmona, I thought I?d take a chance. Her office was incredibly kind and helpful in setting up the new client process and arranging for all documents to be submitted safely and electronically. During my meeting with Ms. Carmona, she was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to answer
Not only is Kelly Carmona valuable at tax time...she emails VERY important tax information through out the year. The tax laws change constantly and there is no way I can keep on top of them. Kelly does and simplifies it for her clients !!
Me & My wife Met with Her Feb 1st & Provided all the Documents Still she did not Tax return I have been constantly following with her from last 2 weeks she keep on saying she will look into it & never gives any update on status when she will be working on my return , very unprofessional behavior. at least she needs to give time line & after committing to that need to fulfill that commitment.
I just loved my experience with Kelly and her staff. A very comfortable environment and friendly place. I highly recommend this business for all your tax needs!
If I could put up a half star I would For two years of ZERO solutions and a truck load of excuses and string me along blaming the IRS and my money in her pocket book. It took me one day for me to get my #9325 form from my new CPA which she failed greatly in doing. My new Certified Public Accountant is just that. #shestheSaddest
Kelly and her team allow me to run my business without having to worry about the books. They are easy to reach, quick to respond and really always there when I need them. I couldn?t be happier!
Kelly is professionalism at its best. Kelly provides high level of comfort knowing her work is accurate and complete. We would highly recommend her.
This was our first year using Kelly, and we are so glad we found her and her team! We would highly recommend her to anyone for seamless tax filing!
I am very pleased to have finally found an accounting firm that can meet my family and company needs. They are doing a great job, and I highly recommend them.
I contacted Kelly for an initial consultation. She was extremely helpful and took a ton of time to answer all our questions. I was really impressed and appreciated all her help. Highly recommend.
Excellent communication. Excellent work.
Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
