I researched this company recently because I wanted to consolidate some debt. Talked to the nicest guy and seemed everything was going good. Until.... A few hours later, I was beginning to have some second thoughts and did some additional research and see some have experienced lawyers showing up at other's doors with court orders, etc., and I decided I was not going to do it. I called back and let them know that I've changed my mind and was going another route and the person who I talked to came on to m
Let me start off by saying, Jordan Knutson is professional, kind, friendly and very patient with me with all my hundreds of questions. I was very nervous and stressed about my current financial debt situation. Jordan is very knowledgeable and did not make me feel rushed. From the initial call, it took me about 5-6 weeks to make up my mind and sign up with the program!! Jordan made me feel at ease, and I look forward to working with him and Level Debt!! Jordan is an asset to this company and team!!! Please r
Had a very pleasant experience with George yesterday. He was very willing to walk me through my situation, which others have not been willing to do. I feel reassured I'm on the right path to getting outta debt and back on track!
This program is amazing, and Sharleen Hauswitzer took her time to explain everything to us and listen to our hardships. She had compassion and I felt that. Thank you Sharleen! My husband and I are going through some major health issues, which caused our cards to used way too much. This program is going to save us a lot of money while we wait for our settlement with social security, then pay them off through you all. If you are reading this --- wondering if you should call and try this program-- YES- PLEASE
I have had the most amazing experience w/Michele my advisor! She is patient, smart, able to explain things clearly and, nice, all at the same time! Level roots for us, the payees, without making us feel like losers and I am very grateful for that!!
I?m so pleased with my credit counselor Michelle Frieji. From my very start in this program, she explains what is happening with my account. On our monthly calls she informs me of the process that?s being made with the settlements of my credit accounts; the things that I can do to help things move along faster; how and when the fees are paid. That?s very uplifting for me. She also confirms to me (without saying) that I made the right decision to use Level Debt to assist me with my future financial heal
Nunzio was absolutely amazing. He made me feel important and he made sure I understood everything. Answered all my questions and eliminated any concerns. I would recommend to anyone needing help.
Nunzio was absolutely great. Answered all my questions and put me in a program that suits my needs. I would recommend him to anyone.
Kristine Creswell was so incredibly helpful. She did the research necessary to assist me thoroughly and accurately with my account. I cannot thank her enough for explaining things in an easy-to-understand way. Not having enough financial knowledge is a deficit for many of us. Having trustworthy and compassionate people like Kristine is an invaluable gift.
I am still in the process of getting my debt settled and have been making my monthly payments. Lisa in the negotiation dept was so compassionate and felt terrible that I've been bounced around to now my 3rd Account Specialist, who has done nothing to reassure me, in fact she was rude. I've been waiting for Rachel (loan Dept) to get back to me regarding a settlement loan, we keep playing phone tag, follow has been sooo bad. You get "Credit Counselling" on a monthly basis, I've had 2 in 10 months, and the
This company is a scam!! I paid them 9k and they only paid 5k to the company I had taken a loan out with. Then they got me into legal trouble with Chase Bank, based off their advice of not talking or making my monthly payments anymore. If this sounds familiar run away from this company as fast as you can they are awful and should be banned from doing business.
Kijana was very informative and helpful. Exceptional Customer Service and received all the information I needed to make my final decision. Will refer all my friends to Level Up!
Chelsea was amazing! She included all the accounts I was having trouble paying in the program with Level Debt and provided clear instructions and details about the program every step of the way! The program with Level Debt saved me thousands of dollars and significantly lowered my monthly payment.
Yes I recommend Level finance very highly. My agent Nunzio Longhitano was awesome. He was so professional, polite, pleasant and very comfortable to talk to. It felt like taking to a long time friend. He helped me and made it so easy. So thank you Nunzio and God bless you.
Jordan was incredible at getting us started with taking care of our debt and we couldn?t be more grateful for him during this process! He brought so much stress off of our shoulders and is working hard for his family. Give this man a raise! Thank you for your time and help Jordan Knutson!
I received a call that my debt had not been settled when I had been told this had been settled weeks ago. I spoke with Harrison who understood my concern and immediately looked into this and got back to me very soon to let me know that this was fraud and my debt was settled. I was so relieved and grateful that this was taken care of so quickly.
Sharlene was so helpful, and she made me feel like I was talking to an old friend, not someone I just met. Being in debt can be stressful, embarrassing, and scary. Sharlene made me feel at ease. She explained everything to me, and was diligent in finding the right plan for me. I?m so appreciative.
I guess they decided they need my money more than i do.... literally stole my money and they chalked up an entire amount to "banks fees" on an excel document that is literally clickable.... FML dummies thief losers. how corny is this company... wish i saved more with Debt Free America. Thats Facts 100. I hope they call to resolve the situation soon.... I could really use my money...
horrible service, they are never available when I call, I ask for a call back and never get called. I make requests and its never completed. I called to cancel services and even then its a struggle. I am still waiting for a call back to confirm their services have been canceled. this is insane. Mean while they prevent me from being able to set up a payment plan directly with my creditors, wth is this.......
Nunzio! Remember that name. You will not regret it. If you're tired of drowning in debt and can no longer figure it out. Give them a call. The whole team is amazing but Nunzio was my angel. I will tell all my friends and family about Level Debt.
I?m extremely satisfied with the professionalism that Level Debt has provided me. Aaron in particular has shown such dedication towards helping me achieve my goals of settling my debt rapidly, as has the rest of the staff. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs assistance with their debt. They also show great compassion for you throughout the process. Thank you Level Debt for all of your hard work!
Bonnie is awesome! Very friendly! Makes the experience enjoyable enough to where I might need to max out another credit card just to sign up again ?? kidding! But she is awesome! Thank you Bonnie! This is an edit to also include Aaron who was very friendly and professional. He was patient and took the time to make sure I understood everything and even did some simple tedious math with me to make sure we were on the same page, thank you Aaron for your help!
Working with Level Debt the past couple of years has been a great experience. Aaron, Brandi, Chelsea, Kristine, Yolanda and the Team always respond promptly, are extremely pleasant and supportive. Which has made what is a very tough process a lot easier. If you need help they're a great choice!!
Nightmarish experience for me. I paid every month for two years, ended up getting sued and being served at my front door and then told the only thing I could do is either pay $3000 to settle a $1000 debt or just go to court and be on my own. Literally the worst customer service I?ve ever experienced like really really bad. I was dealing with a woman named Kate, who was literally impossible. She would not return emails. She would not return phone calls. She would not answer very direct questions. It was real
Malia was amazing to work with. From the time she presented to me the program to signing up, she was with me the whole way. A few weeks ago I signed up to National Debt Relief but with the experience I had with Malia, I will be doing business with Level Debt and cancel National Debt Relief. Malia made me feel welcome and part of the family. Customer Service is 5/5 and I will 1000% refer this company to everyone. Thanks again Malia! Looking forward to working with you and the team!
5/5 Stars Holly W at Level Debt exceeded my expectations! Her expertise, compassion, and customized plan have given me hope for financial freedom after a divorce. Highly recommend Holly and Level Debt for reliable debt solutions! Thank you, Holly!
Sharleen has gone above and beyond for me with my debt relief program she has helped me with walking through everything I needed to do I couldn't of asked for more Sharleen has been exceptional with everything I thank her so much for all the help
Thank you to sharmine it was a pleasure talking with her she was very helpful and took her time at at explaining everything that I needed to know overall she's a very professional and wonderful person
Decided to leave and so glad I did. Dropped my credit score significantly low?. How is this supposed to be helping me? Also, was told loan companies for school do not look at my credit history and that?s not true. Grad plus loan look at credit history to determine if you get it. Glad i was able to get my refund back and I highly recommend to not do this program.
Aaron and team at LevelDebt do exceptionally well to communicate all needed throughout the debt relief process. I have never felt more confidence than I do now with this journey I am on to relieve my debt, and I do believe much of that is because of the reassurance I receive from Aaron and all at LevelDebt. I will be recommending LevelDebt to all who also need some help with their debt.
I would like to express so much gratitude to Samy Mangalassery. From the beginning when I started the program she has been wonderful and always so helpful to me!! She explains everything so I understand it and if she doesn?t know the answer she will ask someone else and get back to me. With Samy I felt like I was talking with a friend. I can not thank her enough for making me feel better and taking the stress off of me during this process of getting my debt settled. She has been been the best supporter to m
Level Debt has helped me tremendously, I?ve been working with Aaron Alvarez and he is very professional and does what he tells you he?s going to do. I can always count on him to answer any question or concerns I may have.. I would definitely recommend Level Debt to family and friends.
Account Specialist Samy Mangalassery Gets 5stars from me. She has been so good to me. She answers any questions I've had through all of the twist and turns. I enjoy our monthly calls. I can't thank her enough for helping me as I venture down this road of debt trauma.
Natalie expressed concern over my monthly payment and short term. I understood what she thought. She talked about in 6 months I could get a loan from them. This is what I am considering now. I look forward to our talk later today.
I was contacted by Level debt for a consultation with my credit cards 5 total. After they set up a payment plan for me for four years and I accepted and signed with them they contacted me and said they couldn't take my visa with my credit union so I had to take out a personal loan for $10,000 to pay off that card but my payments didn't drop with level debt. I started making payments with this company and after a year they contacted me and said that i needed to send them $3,000 or my payments would be going
I have been entirely misled. I signed up in July ?23 and was told all my creditors would be contacted on my behalf and notified that I have entered into a consolidation program, yet I am still getting numerous DAILY calls 10 months later (in addition to letters and emails) where my creditors state they have never heard or seen anything from Level Debt, and they have since put my accounts into collection status, further ruining my credit.
Miguel was polite, patient, and professional. He was kind and knowledgeable. I was very happy to have called and talked to Miguel.
Obliterates credit and you still have to pay back 75%++ of the debt. There are better options
Horrible. Don't do it. At the end of a five year payment schedule that should have been paid in full there were two more accounts they let me know about that somehow they "forgot" to include. Now another five year payment plan. I thought they were professionals. Read all of the fine print and carefully look over what they actually charge before signing.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Joshua Newman! Not only did he give great service but he was very caring and helpful and didn't judge why I needed the assistance. Josh made sure to go over my different options in detail and made sure I had the best plan that I could get. I will refer all of my friends to him and let them know Josh is the best around. It was quick yet through process and actually painless. Thanks again Josh, your the Best!!!!
I was wildly misled by Level Debt about what I was signing up for and I want everyone to understand the lasting negative impact that their scam has had on my financial future: The language Gentry used on the call explaining the debt settlement process made it seem as if Chase Bank was doing something illegal by charging me so much interest on my credit card account. What I was led to believe was that Level Debt was assuming control of my account and settling with Chase. At no point in time was it explained
Absolute outstanding service and professionalism! We could not have been more pleased to have Peter McClain served us. Peter was professional, personable, and informative throughout the counseling process. I would not have made a decision had it not been for his transparency, authenticity, and his ability to connect with family and me. I'm happy that he has made himself available upon request. Thanks, Peter, for all you have done. Again, our decision to join your team was based upon the values you disp
Brandi B. at Level Financing has been a huge help to me these past few months. She has gone above and beyond her duties to make sure I am fully informed and staying on the right track. She has taken time to hear my struggles and offer words of wisdom. Brandi makes herself available anytime you have questions and keeps everything positive. I am so glad I made the decision to use Level financing to better my situation and rebuild outside the pressure of these creditors. Thank you for all you do for your clien
Let me tell ya if I can leave 0 stars I would. Was good for the first year then I don?t know what happened. but I had to take off some of my credit cards and make settlements in my own. I got a better deal then them negotiating and charging a 400 negotiating fee. Then my husbands account he kept sending extra money and 3 years later he still had 4 cards not settled I took them off the program. Now he has money in his account 2 months left to pay off a card in a settlement why they still taking out money? Al
Joshua was so polite and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and explained all the options available to me. He was patient as I asked him many questions about the program. He is very professional and shows great empathy. It was a pleasure working with him and I feel that he put me in the best program that suits my needs.
Joshua Newman and Kelley McGowan have been nothing short of life savers. I got way in over my head and these two have given me away to put my life back together again. Kelley guides and supports me every month with her patience and expertise in financial success. I am so happy that I went ahead with this program.
I would like to personally thank Tammy Pecht, my Financial Success Coach for her understanding and compassion towards my situation during a difficult time. She was able to connect me with her manager Joshua Newman who went well above and beyond the call of duty. Timing was of the essence to get me enrolled in another program and we were on the phone until after 11:00pm. Not only was he patient and considerate but was able to add other debts to the program and I will be paying far less and saving over $40,00
I definitely give this company 5 stars. If I could give a 10 I would. I?ve worked on my debt with other companies and I felt nothing but doom and gloom and put off and lied to. Not to mention paying out to lower my debt but seeing very little results. I worked with Ivy and she able to get me feeling secure and confident. I believe in their service 100%. Julie H
Just wanted to give a shoutout/thanks to Josh Newman at USEFS. He was nothing but cordial and understanding of my situation, and provided exactly the right services for my needs. Not only that, but he provided great guidance in helping me avoid a potentially catastrophic situation that could've affected me for years to come. Above all, he made me feel 100% comfortable about the entirety of the process. I have no doubt in my mind that my financial situation will be taken care of because of him and his wonder
Wow! What a great experience. Matthew Reyes took time to answer all my questions and concerns. He was very patient and walked me through the entire process. After our call I felt really confident in this service.
Super awesome rep that helped me out (Her name was Ivy S.). Really looking forward to finally being able to take my business to the next level and really turn this life of mine around. I highly recommend it for just getting your $hit together again! Extremely extremely helpful. I had a couple bad times that really threw me in the hole. I understand ?well you did it to yourself?, but life happens and there?s no denying that you fight for what you want and need to do whatever it takes to help yourself out in
I didn't think I could stay in a debt program but Joshua Newman told me of all the options I had and what would be best for me. Josh made me very comfortable and so far the process has been great. I've called Josh several times with questions and he's helped me in every step.
Deanna was wonderful. Answered all my questions. Very helpful, excellent customer service skills. Kaity also provided excellent customer service skills. Thank you to both of you wonderful people.
I had the privilege to speak with Josh regarding my debt situation. I am a senior on fixed income and had acquired more debt trying to survive, than what I could manage. Josh spent almost 2 hours discussing every detail with me, in order for me to understand how their debt solutions program worked, the benefits to me, what I could pay off and the huge savings monthly. ANYONE that is suffering from debt overload, however that came to be, should take the time to call and speak with JBK Financial, Inc., as the
Please be aware fully of what you are getting into with this company. I am currently going to court because after more than a year of Level Debt not communicating with Capital One as our agreement stated, they are now suing me. I BEGGED, for more than a year, to get them to do what they agreed to. To get them to do what I paid them to do. And they did nothing and they never ever answered any of my questions along the way. Beware and be informed fully before you choose this route.
I want to give a BIG shout out to Tracy Sharp for all of her help during this process. The process was painless and she explained every thing thoroughly and went over the best program for my needs. I am now saving $450 plus a month, and I am so relieved. Thank you again Tracy.
I was appreciative that Jeremy was kind, nonjudgemental, listened, and answered all my questions. He also explained what we would be doing, and explained each part as we went through it. Jeremy explained options. He also clearly explained as he had me write down figures how long it would take me to pay off my bills and the interest I would end up paying if I kept going the way I have been doing instead of getting some debt solution. Jeremy also clearly explained my payment set up, initial and thereafte
My representative Ivy was incredibly personable and professional. Typically In these situations I start to get phone fatigue and half way through I start to regret involving myself the process in the first place. This did not happen with Ivy. She was friendly, energetic, engaging, professional, and made me feel very comfortable during what is otherwise a very boring and uncomfortable situation. So far I have no complaints about American debt solutions as a whole. Good people are hard to find and even harder
Worst customer service imaginable. Unorganized, unprofessional, literal nightmare to communicate with. I deeply regret choosing this company.
Joshua Newman made this difficult decision seamless with his calm and insightful information on the benefits of entering into debt consolidation. Our initial conversation, which led to a follow-up call the next day, helped make me less hesitant to answer his call. I am glad I did, and regret to having done so earlier. Thank you, Joshua!
Brandi was spot on with everything she went over with me, kind, patient and so empathetic. She rocked my world today and gave me hope for another day.
Company is no better than a scam artist. Don't walk away run. Using them has been the worst financial decision I've made to date. Use your own bank take a loan and consolidate your debt. I wish I had. Using level lowered my credit score 180 points and cost more to pay than what I owed after there 25% settlement fees. Now I will be going to the BBB for corruption.
I was hesitant to make the call to American Debt solutions as I have never asked for help with my financial matters. My solution has always been to work harder or put in more hours. When I did call I was put at ease right away by Mariselo. He walked me through the program efficiently and and explained my options patiently answering my questions along the way. I have been paying on this debt for ten years or more and would never have gotten it paid off. I am looking forward to working with Mariselo and Chris
My first contact with American debt solutions was exceptional. The customer care I encountered was tailored to my needs. The rep was helpful and answered all my questions. They were never pushy and never rude. I totally recommend their services.
My experience working with American Debt Solutions to provide me a means to reduce and manage my credit card debt was excellent. The associates at American Debt Solutions were very helpful providing debt information and recommended options to lead me on a path to financial stability. It was a pleasure working with all of the associates at American Debt Solutions. Thank you so much for your professional assistance.
I almost made a HUGE MISTAKE in going with National Debit Relief. I was just about to sign papers online. I realized I better check one more company I went with AMERICAN DEBIT SOLUTIONS as my choice and here's why. I am a mother of three kids who are still at home with me. I am going through a divorce that is going on 3.5 years now. I had been married almost 23 years and no marriage counseling in those 23 years. Completely shocked at what I found out after ex-husband had left the home and moving an hour
I am a 63 year old retiree who was forced to go on Social Security far sooner than I wanted. I have taken a number of hits that I didn't see coming and as a result I found myself drowning in so much debt that I contemplated suicide many times as my only escape. Just before my 62nd birthday I was terminated from my job for reasons that I could not maintain quality of product on one assembly line. All other lines were no problem just the one. Nobody was willing to hire anyone my age except fast food places
Ivy Skaff was terrific! Easy to work with, clear, concise and had me on my way to a debt free life within minutes. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to clear up their debt. : )
Professional team no lies no tricks honestly work and costumers care clearly transparency and integrity thanks mason for your support and professionalism Jose Donate.
I am so happy that i did respond to the letter i received from the American Debt Solution. I just want to thank mr McClain and the rest of the staff who were there for me, you guys were great and did a great job....you also gave me joy and peace of mind in my life. Thanks so much and keep up the good work.
Joshua and Heather were very helpful and they explained everything on all the legal documents. i was very skeptical about this because of the fact that there are so many scams going on right now, but they were very good at gaining my trust and also i did my own due diligence and looked up the company and decided to let them help me and my situation, i will update this if different !!! Thanks again Josh and Heather !!!!
My experience with ADS has been just wonderful! Peter was so helpful and made the process so easy. I'm looking forward to having less worries and stress about my debt.
Know the truth about debt relief. The trick is you let your credit card account(s) go delinquent and level debt will negotiate a settlement. This is something you can do on your own. What they dont tell is that the amount you dont pay to your creditors is considered taxable income. Yes, you have to claim the amount forgiven on your taxes as income. So for example, if you owe $10,000, the fee to level debt is $2,500. If you settle to pay 50% then you have $5,000 as taxable income. Now you paid $7,500 and yo
We started our journey to debt relief with Tracy Sharpe and Lisa Gibson. Thank you both for being so helpful and patient. Very nervous to take this step but it is a positive one. Again thank you
Tracy Sharpe and Lisa made this process simple, relaxed, helpful and I'm very grateful for their expert advise. Thank you! I will reccomend this company to my friends who could benefit.
Holly waymack was amazing and helpful
THIS COMPANY HAS AN AMAZING CONSULTANT NAMED TRACY THAT IS JUST A GODSEND. SHE HELPED OUR FAMILY WITH THEIR AMAZING SERVICE AND PROGRAMS. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM IF YOU NEED HELP WITH CONSOLIDATING YOUR BILLS AND NEED TO FIND A WAY TO GET ON YOUR FEET AGAIN. GIVE THEM A TRY. ASK FOR TRACY.

Kelly and Josh were extreamly helpful. They were both very kind to me.
Super great customer service!!
Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
