I recently worked with Linda Liu and her incredible team and had an excellent experience. (We used them for my company and personal taxes.) This year, like the years before, they were knowledgeable, thorough, and detail-oriented throughout the process. They took the time to answer all of my questions and provided helpful advice on managing my finances. Their expertise and professionalism put me at ease and made this tax season much less stressful. I highly recommend Linda and her fantastic team to anyone ne
I highly recommend Linda and her exceptional staff for business tax services. Linda's impressive knowledge and attention to detail ensured that all my requirements were met accurately and efficiently. They consistently delivered services on time, relieving me of any unnecessary stress. Linda's friendly demeanor and willingness to address my concerns created a comfortable and stress-free experience. I am incredibly grateful for their outstanding service and will continue to seek their expertise in the future
I was amazed at the many details covered and efficiency that Linda and her team performed in a very short period. I had completed a very "rough draft" of my 2017 taxes back in April and paid my estimated taxes as a independent consultant. I had a very complex return due to my job and a major move in my life. Of course, I also filed an extension in April because I had some major traveling I had planned. Then, since I really hate tax time, I procrastinated until 2 weeks till the extension period expired b
Linda Liu CPA Corp is a ?Truly Lifesaver Company!? That has provided outstanding professional, personal, and business tax preparation services for our family during these past 2 years. After providing Linda and staff with all the proper documentation requested, her company was able to sort through a few years? worth of taxes that still needed to be filed. It has always been such a smooth process to go through with her company handling our personal & business tax preparation. This company was awesome about
Linda has prepared my taxes every year for the last 3 years and I received nothing but perfect, professional service. As a W-2 and W-9 income earner, she makes it so easy for me every year so I don't have to stress during tax season! Thank you Linda and your staff for doing a great job!
Linda and her team are wonderful! They respond emails quickly and have a lot of experience and knowledge in the industry. They are always very patient with my questions and they take the time to ensure I understand what?s going on and finish my taxes in record time. In addition, they provide invaluable advice and direction with personal goals. Highly recommend reaching out to them to help you out with your accounting needs. I feel very grateful to them because I know I can trust them to be honest.
I have worked with Linda for 6 years. Her work is 5 Stars. Top of the Line, the best there is. She does not just file tax returns, She proactively helps with sound fiscal advice, insight, and planning all explained so you can easily understand. My income over the last 6 years has been high and low. Each year she helped me maximize my tax returns. No ugly surprises. She keeps you ahead of what can be a complex and ever changing curve. One year she even tackled the IRS on my behalf and quickly resolved a con
I?ve used Linda Liu?s CPA tax preparation services for 3 or 4 years now and have had a great experience each time. Linda is patient, always personally communicates with me instead of asking staff to do so, and does a thorough job with my taxes (including with difficult income to evaluate, like cryptocurrency). I plan to go to her for tax preparation services for many years to come.
I can not be more satisfied with Linda Liu CPA's service. I have been her client for over 10 years and never had any issue. She is very professional, knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy. We've been through many life stages in the past 10 years, with different and complicated financial situations. She always there to help us and ready to serve. The money I paid for her service definitely worth it!
Linda Liu has been my CPA for many years now. Linda and her staff are always professional and courteous. This year my son came into the fold and started doing his taxes with Linda. I would recommend Linda Liu CPA to all my family and friends.
Several years ago, I switched CPAs for personal and small business matters and selected Linda W Liu CPA because of the online reviews. Now I'm making one and it is a rave. Now, I am a repeat customer year after year, and I have seen this firm grow year over year. Excellent understanding of accounting principles, backed with a modern approach and deep knowledge of the tax code has made all the difference, each time I return. Of course it makes sense to shop, do your homework and hire an accounting practice
I am a multi-business owner who was with this cheap CPA who used to take my money and not help me at all. When I previously got into a big problem with the IRS I told him the problem I had and he actually put me into more problems. I decided to retrieve my case from him and decided to look for a better CPA. I did some research and read the reviews of the CPAs around Austin and found Linda. I decided to go to her and take my case to her had she impressed me. When I came into her office I discussed my case wi
I walked in here expecting the usual sterile atmosphere of a CPA's office but was pleasantly surprised by how warm and accommodating Linda was. She was very thorough with our appointment and on my way out I felt quite confident she would do everything in his power to get me the best return. The visit felt like I was catching up with an old friend. I totally recommend her to anyone and everyone.
CPA Linda helped me enormously with my business. I was recommended by my friend to her. She saw my case and discussed with me all the errors I was doing and really set me on the right path. I previously was with this CPA who created many problems for me and I found out lately, that he didn't even have a certification. Right now I am on the right path and in good condition with the IRS. I truly believe that the last dollar I paid she deserved. I truly deserve she deserves even more for what she did for me. Y
I came in here to fill in taxes and to be advised on my business performance. Both these services I was impressed by how professional they spoke to me and by their overall performance. I strongly believe they value every person and they do deserve everyone to have their businesses followed up by them. Whether you are a small business owner, a big business owner or a multi-business owner. Every single individual of these three will be treated the same way and whether you are coming in for auditing, taxes or
I had my tax filed with Linda's team and everything was great and smooth. My tax involved oversea income and tax treaty, which Linda's team handled really well. Everyone here is very nice and easy to work with.
This CPA knows her field so well that she can predict what will happen next to me if I do not do what she tells me to do. She also is one of the only CPAs that speaks directly to the IRS, a type of service which my previous CPA did not posses. Every time I told her I was going to the IRS she would either send some one from her staff to assist and do what needed to be done and would not even ask me questions. My previous CPA didn't know what to do after the IRS contacted me and my issue was pretty serious. H
Linda was very knowledgeable in relation to my questions. She was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. I would recommend her services to anyone seeking advice on how to deal with complex tax laws.
These guys are incredibly smart and kind hearted. Definitely some of the best and thorough CPA's out there. I've had other CPA's but none come close to Linda and Wakako. They take the time to explain everything and always call back or email me when I have/had a question. Super happy with them and look froward to doing business with them.
Prompt and professional communication, with some of the most insightful guidance and advice I?ve received from a CPA. Highly recommended.
Thanks to all the team of Linda W Liu, CPA Corp for helping Americans with their tax issues overseas such excellently and professionally, best regards to all. From Greece Sincerely Antonietta Goeking
Linda let us down 3 working days before tax day. Last years filing had costly mistakes.
Lisa is super professional - offered me a very good solution to the problem and how to avoid potential risks. Appreciate it.
I've never been told I would be charged 75.00 dollars to walk through the door. Thanks but no thanks!
Professionalism at its finest!
Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
