Lockhart & Powell was great to work with this year. I was seeking a new CPA and they took the time to sit down, listen to what I needed and the process was straight forward and very manageable. Tax season is never fun, and because I have owned the IRS in the past, I am always a little nervous about my taxes. The Lockhart team handled everything with confidence and communicated with me on issues and recommended resolutions.

We used Rick Powell for over 20 years and most recently Brandon and Megan took over the business and handled our taxes in the same professional and timely manner. Lockhart & Powell handle my Federal 1040, State as well as my estimated tax vouchers for non-w2 filing. I have real estate investment property, which includes a variety of depreciable assets, expenses, and deductions, which they handle no problem. They have friendly office staff to handle calls and questions but I do almost all of correspondence, questionnaires, and form uploads through their secure on-line portal, which also serves as a nice record keeping tool.
