If time is of the essence for you, I do not recommend you go here. I had an appointment made for 7pm on a Monday. Knowing how busy tax preparers are during this time of the year, I chose to be respectful of their busy schedules and showed up a few minutes early as to not cause any delays. Once there, they couldn?t care less about my own time. I was not helped until 7:40. At that point, her 7:30 and 8:00 appointments were also waiting in the lobby with me. I just don?t think they should schedule appointments

Have always used Lopez Tax Services notary. The ladies who assisted us were thorough & careful. Our recent visit was the opposite & due to the error by the notary, his mistake cost us $3800. Lesson learned: since the notary did not check his work thoroughly, be sure you do. Niki Young has been processing my taxes at Lopez Tax Service for many years and I am confident in his tax accounting abilities i am unfortunately not happy that he had to tell me that my tax prep fees went up from $240 to $310; a $70 increase with no notification from Lopez Tax by email or mail. Inflation is in, but this is quite a big jump. would have really appreciated a notification Niki was very honest about the increase; he should be supported by Lopez Tax communication to its clients.

We?ve been loyal customers since, I guess, 5 years ago. The reason why we keep on coming back at Lopez Tax Service is because of their customer service-it?s one of a kind! Shout out to our tax preparer Joshue!

I have been using this service for nearly 20 years and was disappointed with the cost of the service this year. We had already had an increase in fees last year of $125 and were told it was because we added a small business for 2020. For 2021, we discontinued that small business and were charged an additional $100 to prepare our taxes. This equals a 45% increase in fees in 2 years. We will not be returning for our 2022 tax service, which we are sad to inform you of.

They charge you $20 to print old tax returns and refuse to give you a digital copy. It's 2016 this is crazy. Nice people, quick work, completely outrageous prices. I always do my taxes myself as they're pretty straight forward. A $40-$60 tax return turned into $230 cost all because they helped with a 1099-MISC. Basically they had to input information onto an extra screen so that had an additional $180-$200 cost. Completely ridiculous. There was one question I could not figure out on my taxes which is why

Went in early as a walk in as soon as the doors opened. I was told they had nothing for walk ins at the time even though there were no customers yet. Made an appointment for the following day and waited over an hour. Really disappointed in their urgency. Why have appointment if your not going to be seen on time? I've been coming here for over 20 years and I won't be coming back.
