Our son has been driving from Houston to see Dr. Martinez. Today I saw why. He and his staff are the most kind, compassionate and dedicated medical professionals I have ever seen. He and his staff moved mountains to make sure the proper tests were performed for a diagnosis. I?ve worked in health care 30 years and NEVER seen any Dr?s or nurses that take such extraordinary care and efforts for a patient!
Dr Nicholas Martinez is my daughter?s gastro dr and the best she?s ever had! He?s knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. He takes his time with his patients, listens to their concerns and does his best to help them in any way possible. I highly recommend him. Unfortunately this office will no longer be taking our insurance and it will be impossible to find another Dr as good as him.
Dr. Martinez is one of the best doctors I?ve ever had! He is so personable and cares deeply for patients. He recently helped me resolve a serious health situation that almost landed me in the hospital. I recommend him to all my family and friends! I?m so thankful to have found such a qualified, caring doctor.
Dr. Martinez is great! Took a while to get an appt w/him but was worth it. Took the time to ask alot of follow-up questions about my symptoms so he could evaluate carefully. He let me ask him so many questions & I never felt rushed by him like I do at alot of other doctors. His staff returns calls & he personally did also to check up. Highly recommend
Dr. Martinez is the gold standard of what an every physician should be. He took the time to listen to my concerns and created a specific care plan for my medical needs. Every individual that I encountered this office was extremely caring and professional.
Dr. Martinez never came to speak with family after the procedure he did. He stated no one came to get him to talk to family. It is his responsibility to do that. He completely dismissed our concerns about unusual pain and once questioned said I?ll just write you a prescription. He was very rude and dismissive. He acted like he had no time for questions. He is definitely not someone I would ever recommend.
The best gastrologist so attentive, cares, listens, bed side manor is great Dr Martinez has worked so hard to find my disorder. As well as treatments to help my medical diagnosis. His nurse Amanda works so hard cares for every patient goes out of the way to get things done for Dr Martinez The staff works hard and they are very attentive as well with great communication thank you Dr Martinez and staff .
Dr Martinez is great! Very friendly and easy to talk to. He Has been keeping in touch with me after my procedures and even before my procedures via email and takes the time to call and see how im doing. Highly recommend Dr Martinez for anyone looking for a gastro.
Dr.Martinez is a wonderful person. He sets and explains in detail with us and takes his time. He takes care of our handicap 53yr. Old son for several years and we think very highly of him and would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Martinez is a true professional in every way. I feel very blesses to have found him. He went out of his way to explain everything to me I believe he really cares. Thank you Dr. Martinez
Takes the time to listen to ,y wife's health issues and explains the issues with such patience. She doesn't feel rushed with him like she has in the past with other doctors. Also his nurse is awesome.
I would love to have a job like Myriam the scheduler. It seems she is never doing anything since even after calling 9 times in a day, she is always away from her desk. The one time I do get to speak with her, I'm placed on hold and the call is magically dropped. On top of that they give us a schedule for 1 week out and then magically change it to 1 month out. I guess my family member can hold her pain for an extra thirty days. Thanks, Myriam.
His staff told me that he would not see me because I had already been seen by another doctor. How very helpful when seeking a secondary opinion or medical attention when another provider has neglected you as a patient. s/
Dr Martinez is excellent, patient and thorough. All of the staff is great.
Dr. Martinez was very kind and always took the time to answer any concerns that I had. I would definitely recommend him!
My name is Sylvia R I have been trying to schedule for a procedure, its almost 3weeks and haven't heard from his office, I had no idea it would take this long.i can't get anybody on the phone I have to wait for them to call me.
He is a great and caring Dr.....glad I found him.
BEST Gastroenterologist in town!!!
Dr. Martinez is AMAZING!!!!!!!
I have called this office 4 times. In addition, I have also attempted to schedule online. My wife also tried calling and making an appointment. This office is incredibly and lacks the human decency to call back and schedule an appointment for someone in need.
Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
