Been filing taxes since 2015. Great service from Derek Martinez. Only caveat, even with appointment, waiting time is too long. Waited for 1 hour and 15 mins for my 9:45 am slot on a weekday (office is not packed with clients)
This family owned and operated Tax service is absolutely the best! People drive over 60 miles to come here. I have been getting my taxes done here for over 25 years and I have never had any issues. Last year marked the worst year of service from MTS. I had been a loyal customer for over a decade but this year they totally left me hanging. I sent them my files and no one ever completed by taxes and was forced to file for an extension. After filing the extension there has been ZERO communication from them and no one has called me back regarding my taxes. Although this year it was brought to my attention that I didn't have my 1095-A which the IRS has sent me a letter to send in with the form 8962, which I have no idea how to fill out and the instructions on IRS.gov or 18 pages. Martinez tax service is very friendly and fair and reasonable. I reccomend going here for taxes. They are however only open 2 days a week which is a problem but they are still good to do taxes with.
