Been filing taxes since 2015. Great service from Derek Martinez. Only caveat, even with appointment, waiting time is too long. Waited for 1 hour and 15 mins for my 9:45 am slot on a weekday (office is not packed with clients)

This family owned and operated Tax service is absolutely the best! People drive over 60 miles to come here. I have been getting my taxes done here for over 25 years and I have never had any issues. This newest location has ample parking and the interior is really nice. The staff are very helpful and always professional.

I love Martinez Tax Services! I've been coming here for well over 20 years. It's a family owned business. I started going there when they were doing taxes from their house. Now they have a huge office in Mission Hills. The best part is friendly, cheap, and reliable service! Go see my buddy Enoch when you set up a appointment!

Last year marked the worst year of service from MTS. I had been a loyal customer for over a decade but this year they totally left me hanging. I sent them my files and no one ever completed by taxes and was forced to file for an extension. After filing the extension there has been ZERO communication from them and no one has called me back regarding my taxes. Enoch was rude and seemed like I was bothering him when checking up on my tax file. Absolutely terrible service from them this year and its ended

They would have gotten 5 stars but the receptionist is super rude. I called and asked to speak to Enoch. She told me and I quote. "We have half hour left in the day, I doubt he'll be able to call you back". Then they don't ever answer or they'll pick up and hang up. The voicemail says to "not leave a voicemail and call back at regular business hours." Uh, its 2:15PM on a Thursday. If this isn't "regular business hours",then what is? We've had our taxes done here a few years, me and other family members. We moved away and continued to get them done here by emailing our info. This time, we sent everything like usual. Confused about the hours.... But figured it out. They are only open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-5pm. Love their services but need better communication regarding the hours.

Normally 4 stars. Had appt with Derick at 1230. Derick was awesome as usual. But didn't see him until almost 230pm. He was very backed up but it also was the last day to do taxes (the 17th). My taxes are always very simple with no changes and no kids. Front desk should prioritize the easy ones like myself to get in and out quickly instead of waiting 2 hrs for me to meet with Derick for 10-15 min. My experience with Enoch has been great. I've used him for 7 +years. He's been honest, committed, and loves what he does as a C.P.A. I highly recommend him.

So I work with Gilbert and it's always a great experience! Make filing taxes very easy. Although this year it was brought to my attention that I didn't have my 1095-A which the IRS has sent me a letter to send in with the form 8962, which I have no idea how to fill out and the instructions on IRS.gov or 18 pages. They are the best. Always get the most for your refund and take their time to speak with you and handle any questions you may have. Derek is my tax preparer, he knocks it out of the park every year.

They always go above and beyond to answer any questions and take the time to thoroughly explain it to you. I'm a repeat client and will not go anywhere else. If you want to get treated like family I suggest you give them a try.

Martinez tax service is very friendly and fair and reasonable. I reccomend going here for taxes. They are however only open 2 days a week which is a problem but they are still good to do taxes with.
