We have worked with Matt and his team for 11-12 yrs. They have always provided a great service and have provided us with much needed knowledge for our small business. They keep us up to date on tax laws and are always supportive of when answering questions. It?s been a blessing to work with him and his team!
We did not have the best experience here. We worked with Kim and when we were first called in to review our taxes she was very unhelpful. I asked if she could go over the information with me and explain our refund, she replied something to the effect of "that's just how it is", as if she couldn't possibly explain it to me. I noticed a mistake, I should've gotten a full return from one state since my employer messed up my withholdings. I asked her to redo it and we ended up getting a much larger refund. Mist
We have used Matt for years. He takes very good of us and his communication is awesome. He also took care of my late father's tax needs and my dad loved him.
Mr. Mann and his professional staff are very knowledgeable. My wife and I first came across Mr. Mann's office by referral when we experienced a unique tax situation. This situation nobody wanted to handle for us, that is until we visited with Mr. Mann. He and his staff had the knowledge necessary to deal with our situation. That was last year, this year we are happy to engage Mr. Mann's office to do our taxes. If you need a knowledgeable CPA, give Mr. Mann's office a call
Got my taxes all jumbled up for the past two years so I went to see Matt the tax Mann and he not only fixed my taxes but showed me how I could actually make them benefit myself in the long run for the better! He and the team definitely took all the stress I had off my shoulders even with a lot of pressure from me and the economy at their door. I would highly recommended them for any tax purposes and will be back next year knowing my financial life is in the right hands. Thanks again guys
Matt and his team saved us! We needed someone to help our business on an accounting schedule and reconciliation plan. They stepped up to the plate and helped us develop what we've been looking for. If you need a down to earth, easy to talk to accountant that will take care of you and your business, call Matt.
Greatest CPA ever!!! Matt Mann will save you money! He knows the tax law extremely well and always pushes you to remember deductions that you might otherwise forget. Cannot say enough great things about Matt and his assistants. The best!
Their guarantee ? ?Are you frustrated with your current firm?s availability and not returning your communication for days, weeks, or, shall I say?at all? We implement a 5-star customer satisfaction policy, which means you will receive return phone calls, emails, texts, or whatever means of communication you choose within 5 business hours. ? The reality ? Dropped off tax info, no communication for over 50 days. I called and asked for a return phone call. Nothing. Called in again 3 days later asked for a ret
Fantastic CPA service! We have used them for a few years now and they have provided great customer service! Military friendly and complicated filing experts! Will continue to do business with them in the future.
I've been with him for years. We switched over from another guy and Matt immediately saved us a ton of money. He is wonderful. Highly recommend him!
Matt and his team look through the details, doing the best they can for our personal and business taxes.
Matt is absolutely fantastic as a CPA! Very knowledgeable and up to date on current tax codes! He's a really nice guy, too!
The service was slow. Very possibly because of poor preparation on my part. They were very friendly and went above and beyond to compensate for the extra time it took. It's easy when things go right. But when things go wrong, you want someone who will work with you. Thus, I give 5 stars.
These guys are great! They have helped us get organized and stay organized. They bailed us out of a really awful mess. I highly recommend anyone use their service.
We have used their services for 2 years in a row and had an excellent experience both times. They are timely and accommodating!
Would never use anyone else for all my business and personal Tax needs. Matt is amazing, and so is his team!
When you start a new business, sometimes you need a great professional to answer a few questions to keep you in line when tax season rolls around--Matt's the man!
I'm really happy I found this company! They processed my return quickly and are quick to answer any questions or concerns.
Terrific service, even when I'm late getting them what they need. They will be the last CPA firm you hire.
Very good business and very good people. They help me a lot over the years.
Highly Recommend Mr. Mann. Professional, answers all questions. If you are looking for a great accountant, you found one with Mr. Mann. Trish Yarborough
Best CPA around!!!!!
Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
