Maxx Refunds Tax Service

They are quick to take your money and Help you file your taxes. Good luck getting them to help you with anything after that. Never received my state refund for 2023 and Have been trying to get a hold of them since last year.

I went to Max refunds on February 22, 2024 and was promised I would receive my refund in approximately two weeks. First check came in March. I was told it was the check for 1771 which was a lie. It was a check for 2094 of which I only received $500 upfront and $1000 a week later, that's a little short of 2094 then I received a letter in the mail from franchise Tax Board stating I never they never got my 1099 so I had to resubmit my taxes so my check wasn't done through franchise Tax Board until June 6 when

I learned about this Black owned family business in about 2020 and haven't looked anywhere else since. The mother and son duo are just amazing and I they've treated me like the long lost niece they always wanted from day one. Stopped by Maxx Refunds to get an estimate on my taxes because Turbotax wasn't providing me the help I needed. There Scammers this place is a joke run fast. Never coming again have to go fix my taxes after they charged me over a thousand and refuse to help.

I went to Maxx after being mistreated and having my taxes mishandled by California Check Cashing. Maxx turned everything around so quickly and was very responsive when I had questions later. I don't know about you but I can't stand it when I get my taxes done somewhere and cant get a hold of anyone anymore afterwards. The entire staff is friendly and professional. 5 star service!

I wouldn't recommend very unprofessional, they don't listen to you and will provide false information. They charged me 1,200 dollars, I called to correct them and they refuse. Please go somewhere else. This place is not it.

I went into this office for a quote on how much it was going to cost me to file with them. The lady was really nice and even offered me some champagne. I was referred by someone to come to this place. The referral told me that she received the Maxx Refund on her taxes. I entered into the store and I was greeted by two women and offered champagne.
