Bad customer service and horrible communication. Mtn Insurance gives new meaning to the term unprofessional. After spending most of my working career in some aspect of customer service, I'm amazed at the service these guys provide. A++++. They actually followed up (after emailing) customers to ensure (we) thier customers saw said email regarding changes so that NO ONE would be dropped by any carrier. Bad customer service. They want to demand how you spend your money and they don't like it when you stand up and tell them it is your money and your property and they work for you, so they need to meet your needs. Avoid at all cost, they are manipulating and rude on your money, while being demeaning. Find another broker, you are better off giving your business to somebody who values capitalism, customer service and respects the customer's wishes without being pushy and socialistic.

A very big thank you to Maria and her team at MTN ins. I moved up to crestline in April and had to get home insurance , the company we went with (I'll avoid the name :p ) seemed good at first .. we really just needed to go with the flow to be able to close escrow . Then we noticed issue after issue with our policy . I was a loyal customer of MTN insurance for at least 4 years. But apparently, they canceled my policy back in March 2023 and did not notify me. My policy was transferred to a company I have never heard of, and the new company never contacted me.

I have my policy through MTN Insurance. They have been friendly and helpful on the phone or in person. They shopped around for rates for me and found a policy within my price range but still offered the coverage I wanted. When i didnt check my email for a few days, Maria called to remind me that they sent an electronic form I needed to sign for my next years coverage. They treat us like people not just a number, that's important to me and my family.

I wasn't able to get anybody on the phone. I left messages that were not returned. I was in desperate situation to ensure my home in Crestline.

This insurance office is a joke. I recommend not them! They will never answer your questions you always need to know your own personal information because it is too much of a hassle for them to look it up. And don't bother looking for responses from them in the mail regarding follow ups.
