New York Stock Exchange

New York Stock Exchange

Reviews Summary

The NYSE is widely praised for its stunning architecture and historical significance, with many considering it a must-visit landmark in NYC. Visitors enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Wall Street and appreciate photo opportunities, though some note limited access inside. Reviews highlight the area's energy, especially during Christmas with decorations. However, a few criticize the exchange for perceived corruption or express disappointment over lack of tours. Security is tight, and while the exterior impresses, the inability to explore the trading floor leaves some wanting more. Most agree it’s an iconic symbol of global finance worth seeing.

Visiting the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street was an unforgettable experience. Standing in the heart of America's financial powerhouse, I felt the pulse of the economy all around me. The historic significance and energy of the place are palpable, and it's incredible to see where so many critical financial decisions are made. Being on Wall Street, surrounded by iconic buildings and the fast-paced vibe, truly made me appreciate the impact this place has on the global economy. It's a must-visit for anyon

Attending the New York Stock Exchange for the ringing of the bell ?? ??? is a spiritual experience. It's something that everyone should experience once in their life. The Wall Street Hotel ?? is the perfect place to stay two blocks down the road on Wall Street. I was fortunate to be there for the re-branding from Cars.com to Cars Commerce. The tour was amazing, understanding the history of the NYSE was absolutely unbelievable. We walked through the trading floor, and it wasn't as loud and busy as you see

The largest stock exchange in the world. Stunning architecture I must say! It's impressive to visit Wall Street for the first time! It's definitely worth the visit to discover the financial district even if you don't go inside. I also liked discovering the Fearless Girl and the Wall Street Bull.

I didn't get the chance to go inside the stock exchange, but I managed to take several pictures outside. It felt like being in a scene from the movies, something you have to experience for yourself. I definitely plan to visit inside when I return again.

The NYSE area in Manhattan?s Financial District is always buzzing with energy. The New York Stock Exchange building, with its impressive columns and grand entrance, is a key part of the city?s financial heartbeat. The streets are packed with tourists and professionals, making it a lively place to visit. You'll also find popular sights like the Charging Bull. Wall Street runs through the area, adding to its financial significance. Overall, it's a fascinating blend of history and modern hustle. Met the Fearle

Visiting the Wall Street District in NYC was a fascinating experience. The area's energy is palpable, with towering skyscrapers and historic landmarks like the New York Stock Exchange and the Charging Bull statue. Walking along Wall Street, I felt the weight of financial history around me. The nearby Federal Hall, where George Washington took his presidential oath, added a deep historical layer to the visit. Despite its business-centric vibe, the district also offers charming spots like Stone Street, with i

I took a tour at the New York Stock Exchange about 20 years ago, and even back then, the place was semi empty. I couldn't even imagine what the trading floor looks like now with everything totally computerized. In any event, there is still a ton of history here all around this beautiful building. The surrounding area, in general, is a must visit NYC landmark.

The NYSE is the world's largest stock exchange and you can feel the power this building imposes. Classic and beautiful architecture sat between Wall St and Broad St MTA stations.

Want to experience the New York Stock Exchange? It's not the most obvious NYC attraction, but it's one of the most defining places for the city. This birthplace of businesses will forever stand as an anchor of Lower Manhattan?s financial community. Compared to its early days, NYSE visits to the stock exchange have changed quite a bit. But it's still worth visiting today. Like so many New York landmarks, the stock exchange isn't just a building, but a critical part of the city?s history. And its influence s

Simply visiting the NYSE from the outside is a priceless experience. Please see below reel.

Standing here at the epicentre of today?s financial markets, the facade of the NYSE reminded me somewhat of the Treasury at Petra which, ironically, was not a treasury but a mausoleum ?? Sell! ??

Should at least go and take a look at the building. Few other buildings in the area that are worth taking a look at and getting a picture and the charging bull.

Glad I could visit over Christmas ?? Do not miss out on passing by during your visit to NYC!

Cool place to visit if you're in the area or if you're a fan of The Dark Knight Rises! ????

Apparently, this place is open only for brokers and high ranking people. Security is tight around the block and streets of the building surrounding, no car to pass by. It is on wall st and place is surrounded by skyscrapers thus makes your walk enjoyable to the eyes. It has also a nice fascade.

Financial capital of the US This place is heavily guarded. Not much to see as you cannot enter inside. Good for the Photo op. This is where all the money is made on stocks and us always hear about it It's fun to see and to also get a photo of the Wall Street sign. Well worth the time. In Christmas time, they decorate it really well. I have been there 5-6 times and I find it amusing every time. Wall Street, the federal hall is right there. Wish I Could Have Toured the Inside

This is a must place to visit for tourists and locals. So much history around this place and the surrounding area. It's easy to visit the outside and Wall Street and Lower Manhattan. It's a great place to bike to during times of COVID. Pretty quiet. Best to visit early to late morning so the sun is shining on the building. There are tons of places to get something to eat and take a short walk to the seaport area to have a picnic or Battery Park. I highly recommend this place and area for a visit!

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is a really incredible building, it's a must-see landmark when you're in New York City. The architecture is stunning and visiting this spot offers you a perfect reason to explore the Financial District of Manhattan (while you're here)!!

Okayish experience to be honest. Nothing special about the building.

If you have the opportunity to tour the exchange, trading floor or the conference center, I highly recommend it. Be sure to check out the Buttonwood Agreement and the Russian vase!

I just started trading in 2023 so to be here is really cool since it's symbolizes financial success @EmilyGuglielmo IG The Day Trading Diva

It's really such a beautiful spot & despite seeing it just about daily, I still stop to appreciate the view each time.

Emblematic building of the financial district. Just pass by while visiting the Trinity Church.

A place where the economical revolution begin. By far, it is still the world?s largest stock exchange by capital!

You can stand around outside the exchange and take photos. No museum or tour inside considering how iconic this landmark is

To be honest, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) was really not that impressive when I visited it the first time (or any of the subsequent visits). Actually... I've never actually visited the NYSE because in order to get into the building, you will need a special visitor pass. The whole area is extremely restricted to traffic and almost to the point of difficult to locate due to the extreme security measure in place. One of the perks of the restricted traffic in the area is that it's extremely easy and s

Must visit spot in down Manhattan. Walk around neighborhood take pictures and enjoy the vibe..

We booked a must see/join Wallstreet/NYSE tour. The tourguide was very knowledgeable, and told many ins/outs about the history, background. It started with the Dutch (West Indian (trading) Company), how the stock markets were founded and how it evolved to the present day situation. Notice the in present day the "Fearless Girl" is now in front of the NYSE. Initially this statue was opposite to the "Charging Bull". The facade of the building is very impressive.

The New York Stock Exchange stands on Wall Street. It is certainly one of the most photographed, filmed and published buildings. It's definitely worth coming here, walking around and buying a t-shirt right here.

Visiting the area near the New York Stock Exchange was an exciting experience, surrounded by the energy and history of the financial district. The iconic building itself is a striking symbol of global finance, and the area is bustling with both tourists and professionals. The narrow streets and historic architecture add to the charm, though it can get quite crowded. It's a must-see spot for anyone interested in the heart of the financial world, but be prepared for tight security and limited access to certai

Five stars, not for anything related to the function of the New York Stock Exchange, but for the iconic and highly picturesque urban scenery in front of the stock exchange. Classic buildings, narrow and busy streets, concrete canyons--there are few more metropolitan locales than the facade of the New York Stock Exchange. Great spot for photographs and enjoyment of the architecture.

A must visit landmark in New York. Architecture is classic. The place has high security, and during Christmas, there is a giant Christmas tree in front of it.

There is really a lot of cool things to see in this area. Some really cool pictures and beautiful architecture. You get to see where a lot of movies are made and get to touch the bull! They have some good eating places around. This will be about an hour experience to see it all. So you can plan this with other things in the area to do.

One of the spot to visit if you have spare time. Went there at evening, not much happening. Many tourist are here to capture the Christmas tree just outside the building and the brave girl statue.

Incredible building, even better if we had a better fed team to help the situation. Overall great location and building, wish they did tours.

Beautiful architecture and historical surrounding area to work through. The NYSE represents American economic growth, steadfastness, and exceptionalism. A must see if you're in downtown.

Thanks to Wall Street, New York is today the most economically powerful city and the world's leading financial center, home to the world's two largest stock exchanges: the New York Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ at number 11. Wall Street is a street that runs from northwest to southeast, starting at Broadway and ending at South Street. Located on the East River in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan. Over time, the term ""Wall Street"" has become a metonym for the US financial markets and the US finan

It's a short walk from the bull but the experience of wall street is unmatched

Beautiful architecture and a chance to meet some nice traders! It's also buzzing with energy and atmosphere.

The New York Stock Exchange (sometimes referred to as "the?Big Board") provides a means for buyers and sellers to?trade?shares?of?stock?in companies registered for public trading. The NYSE is open for trading Monday through Friday from 9:30?am ? 4:00?pm?ET, with the exception of holidays declared by the Exchange in advance. Another attractions that you must take photo with in Downtown Wall street NY. Do expect some people as it could get crowded here and just enjoy for some great photos.

Wall Street is the heart of Financial District. A couple of blocks close to Oculus and One World Trade Center, Wall Street starts across Trinity Church and it's a nice area to walk and discover interesting things about the city?s history.

If you are in the finance or business world this is a must. Breath taking building and it is a novelty to be so close to one of the biggest exchanges in the world!!!

Nice tree, but not much else to see. If you have time, then go. If not, it can be skipped.

Cool place cuz when you get here, you're actually in Wall Street where the economically important street in NY. And here those road are closed. So, you will see everyone cross streets and more specific is walking on the street! Which is totally not like my expectation.

?? New York Stock Exchange Building NYSE - This & the Charging Bull were at the top of our list! The statue that I am standing next to, is known as the 'Fearless Girl' that was situated the day before International Women's Day in 2017. She was created as a direct challenge to the "boy's club" of the corporate world. The architecture is kust absolutely beautiful (pretty much every building in NY is like this) We were there when the final closing bell went off, but what was odd... we had never seen people

It's a huge building, it's amousing the exterior of the building. Also there's a lot of security so you can feel safe.

Small girl big dream!

Must to visit ?? highly recommend

We went at night and it wasn't crowded at all. The exchange per say was closed of course, but it's still impressive just walking around. The fearless girl is really powerful in some ways, facing that incredible building!

Incredible building. It was a shame it was closed when we could fit this in. But we feel it didn't take away from the impact of the building. There wasn't too much of a crowd so photos were easy. It had a little Christmas treat there too for the season

It's a alright school trip to learn it's history about the canal that was there, and how stocks are. Otherwise nonthing really else.

Truly iconic building on Wall Street in downtown NYC!

Cool to have a wander around Wall Street and soak in in the surrounds, and the stock exchange was the highlight here. Place had a sense of history about it, but very soulless at the same time.

Awesome Xmas tree and events

This is a iconic place reflecting financial market and economy as a whole. Visited evening and not so crowded that time.

Amazing place to visit. Being on the floor was very cool

This is a must see if you want to know how the economy works and a major force in the world. It really looks like chaos on the floor and the ringing of the bell still is something to be at. As a company listed on the NYSE, I was able to request a tour in advance of our last visit to NYC. There is so much history here that any businessman should go if they have a chance. If you can, be there for one of the bells.

Amazing people here - a pleasure to get to see this building and the iconic exchange floor inside over the years

A great place to visit! Had a great time!

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall inside this building during peek hour. The construction going on all around the entrance made it hard to get to even if you wanted to actually go in. Then you will have get passed the security guards only letting workers in.

Best in house electricians of all time. Really great lighting in the event spaces. The Trade floor is really cool too.

Wall Street is the symbol of New York's financial industry. Although many companies have moved away from Wall Street, iconic buildings like the NY Stock Exchange remain, drawing tourists to visit, companies to participate in events, and traders to work. Walking on the short and narrow Wall Street, it might be hard to imagine its former bustle, but every brick is steeped in history, making it a great place for those interested in experiencing history and nostalgia to visit.

The place where the money flows more swifter then the Tsunami waves. You can sense power around it, and at night it looks more beautiful, when lit in the various shades of green and red.

The cold chill spread down my spine. The darkness began to creep out from the corners of this soulless monument as I quickly passed by the belly of the beast. In haste my steps quickened as the shadows began following me, gaining, fighting against the light that tried keeping them away. My footsteps echoed from the buildings as my heart raced. Could it be escaped before it collapses around us, again. A whisper is heard in the wind, "Soon, soon."

Nice area to take a walk. Not heavily crowded, like others said there's some construction right now. I visited during Christmas/ new years and saw the tree.

I HATE the New York Stock Exchange. After the Great Recession, I lost everything. My car, house, wife & kids, and my will to live. I attempted suicide several times because of The Investors. Now that I am back on my feet, I have been avoiding paying rent and taxes on the single family home I have been renting from BlackRock for 8 years. There's meth everywhere.

The New York Stock Exchange is by far the world's largest stock exchange . No visit to public.

A must see landmark in New York City on Wall Street.

The world?s largest stock exchange is on Wall Street, the most famous district in the financial world. Not much excitement there like in movies and financial news except the NYSE building, the bronze statues of the Fearless Girl (once facing the Charging Bull), and George Washington. But big money, wealth and financial markets can be felt as you walk the street. A worthwhile visit only if Wall Street?s importance in global finance can be appreciated.

Great architecture in the financial capital of the world. It was closed during my visit but was able to click few pictures from the outside.

I know there's enough lame photos on here but I am so excited that I got to see wall street, the new york stock exchange and the charging bull. The area was by far the best in new york city.

A must-see landmark in NYC. Also a place where very important people play with other people's money.

Had a great experience with the NYSE launching Eve Air Mobility (EVEX) in May 2022. The lobby before heading to the podium had some great history of the NYSE.

it's worth to be there, this is the heart of USA finicial

Really iconic and beautiful building!

Beautiful building. They should put up a sign to show how to get to the charging bull.

Impressive, but still a repulsive shrine to the hubris of the founding fathers and the cynical truth behind the fictitious American dream. The present day Tower of Babel. A playground for the profiteers of war. I think Bane from Batman was 100% in the right I wish bane really did that irl

Unfortunately, the exchange is not open to the public anymore but you can still swing by the outside and grasp a feel for what it is like on the inside with major trades happening every minute. A fun way to experience the exchange from the outside is listening for the bell at 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM which marks the start of the day?s trading and the end of the day. Just make sure not to show up on a weekend or U.S. holiday because then you will definitely not hear the bell.

Nice views, not heavily crowded. Christmas holiday season is best time to visit.

The building symbolizes the American Capitalism and its architecture is nice to see. However, I was a bit disappointed. What surprised me was the little girl statue in front of it. This statue from Kristen Visbal, called ?Fearless Girl?, was installed in 2017 to celebrate the International Women's Day and to inspired future women leaders all over the World.

It was cool to see NYSE in real life and the building is quite cool. seeing the bull was also cool but very crowded. And where is Fearless Girl?!?!? That was the whole point of me going and she was nowhere to be found!

When in NYC, why not make a stop in the Financial District to check out some of the cool free sites, such as the NYSE, Fearless Girl and the Charging Bull. The architecture is amazing in this old area of NYC. The pillars, the stone work, all amazing. Just walking down Wall Street is pretty neat, knowing how historic the area is. Definitely worth checking out this when in the area. 5/5. Follow me for more reviews, pictures & tips.

It's cool that the street is closed for pedestrians but sucks that they don't offer a tour. But it's still place to visit while in ny

The building is beautiful and has an important meaning but you can not visit it.

Extremely corrupt organization that claims to have a free stock market. Instead it's heavily flawed with non-existent shares and price manipulation. The people working in the NYSE are too scared to take any regulatory action on all this non-sense because their next employers are these massive funds that control the market. It makes no sense why they would tell on their future employers. Delusional people, out of touch with reality. Claiming fraud is a ?glitch?. Time is running out.

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is an iconic landmark in the heart of Wall Street. The impressive facade of the building commands attention and represents the power and prestige associated with global finance. As a symbol of economic strength, the NYSE holds a significant place in the history of financial markets. It serves as a reminder of the vibrant and dynamic nature of the stock exchange, making it a must-see destination for those interested in the world of business and investing.

The place is just a street when you can see the building. But this building has a lot of stories and history

Frequently Asked Questions

What qualifications should I look for in a CPA?

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.

How do I find a CPA in my area?

Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.

What’s the difference between a CPA and an accountant?

A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.

How do I know if a CPA specializes in my needs?

Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.

Should I check a CPA’s reviews before hiring?

Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.

How can I verify a CPA’s license?

Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.

What questions should I ask during a CPA consultation?

Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.

How much should I expect to pay for a CPA’s services?

Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.

Can I work with a CPA remotely?

Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.

How do I assess a CPA’s communication skills?

During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.

What red flags should I watch for when screening a CPA?

Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.

Should I choose a CPA from a large firm or a solo practitioner?

Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.

How often should I meet with my CPA?

For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.

Can a CPA help with both personal and business finances?

Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.

What should I do if I’m not satisfied with my CPA?

Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
