I had a fantastic experience at the Oliver Peoples store thanks to Liz. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive throughout the entire visit. Liz helped me find the perfect pair of frames that suited both my style and needs. Her genuine enthusiasm and professionalism made the whole process enjoyable and seamless. Highly recommend asking for Liz if you're visiting the store!
I recently purchased two new pairs of glasses and had one of my old favorite pairs refurbished by Oliver Peoples. I had such a great experience with the Palm Desert store!! Liz really goes above and beyond to help customers find the perfect glasses, and she genuinely cares about making sure everyone is happy with their purchase. She's truly an asset to the store and its brand. I absolutely luv my Oliver Peoples glasses! And yes, the refurbished pair look like NEW! Totally worth the spend. Thanks you Liz!
I've tried several other brands of glasses the last 15 years. 8 were spent in 1 pair of Oliver Peoples, including a prescription change. The other 7 years I burned through 4 pairs of "quality, designer" glasses. So I'm never buying anything other than OP's again. This store stocks the full line on site, so you get to try everything. Joann and Liz at the store are truly helpful and know the product line really well - read the reviews, it's all true. Made new glasses day a great day. Thank you both!
Great service, great quality, great place to find glasses. They seem a bit nicer than LensCrafters etc but the price is about the same.
Joann is extremely patient and knowledgeable, and enjoy working with her very much. I have purchased frames and lenses from her in the past and will again in the future.

Elizabeth was very helpful. She just knows what would look good on you! Walked in told her what I needed and first pair bam! I feel it's very important to feel comfortable and confident in your glasses. The selection, and her expertise was the perfect fit!
My husband and I both buy our eyewear from Oliver People's in Palm Desert. JoAnn Kaplan is our sales person and is very good. She even stopped by my house to pick up glasses that needed repair and returned them later. We love Oliver Peoples. Tom and Joan Stone
Helpful and friendly team with an abundance of great frames from both Oliver Peoples and Persol. I love that they are in network with Eye Med coverage. Great job all around!
Liz was amazing in finding the perfect sunglasses for me. She knew exactly what I was looking for and provided me several options. What a delight.
Just watched a travel video and Victoria was interacting with the camera guys. She was so pleasant and had a great smile. I can see why this business has great reviews. Definitely will visit here next time I'm in Palm Desert.
If you want to have a wonderful, professional, helpful, and pleasant experience, then you should go see Joanne. She knew the products inside and out and quickly helped me to narrow down the perfect shape and size frames.
The Sales Lady Dana Voynovich was very helpful in finding a pair of glasses for me. Made it a professional and fun experience. Great Store!

We had a great experience in the Palm Desert location. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. I highly recommend this product and store, thank you.
Superb sales lady named Liz! She gave me ideas but No pressure. I made a great purchase! Thank you Liz!
Great professional and personalized service, Dana helped pick out a great pair of new glasses with lenses for a great deal at the price I wanted and exactly what I was looking for!
Fabulous customer service. Excellent range of glasses. Liz the store manager was extremely helpful and not pushy for a sale. Highly recommend.
They do not allow any refunds at all so be careful what you purchase. Liz is the manager and was very unhelpful. She stayed in back when the front was busy and made me wait to People here will try and upsell as much as they can. It was like visiting a used care sales office.
great experience. pleasant efficient and knowledgable.
Joanne was kind and professional. One of the best shopping experiences we've had.
A great place to find quality eyewear. The service has always been outstanding.
Great experience - wonderful premium product. Liz and staff are second to none!

I am always so pleased with the terrific customer service at OP PD. Bravo!
Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
