We?ve used Paul Scheible?s office for our taxes for a number of years. When friends & family ask about accountants in our area I always suggest them. This tax season my mom finally started having Paul?s business complete her taxes?and she?s very happy. I also appreciate the responsiveness of everyone in the office. 5 stars all around!

I have used Paul and his Company for my taxes for the last 3 years. My taxes have some complexities with overseas accounts', pensions and income. We recently moved to NC and needed to establish services with a knowledgeable CPA. Paul just completed our family tax return and I could not be happier with his services. Our return was not cut and dry. Many variables were involved, and Paul sorted through each one and found the best scenarios for our circumstances. Not sure how my wife and I got such a different experience with Paul vs. the rest of these reviews.. Paul hasn't responded to an email or phone call in 7 months for our taxes last year. Last I heard, he would let me know when he got it filed correctly. Never did get that call, email or any correspondence back from him. If you want taxes done in a timely and professional manner, Paul shouldn't be your choice.

We made mistakes when initially filing our 2019 taxes on our own, which were rejected by NC. The state then tried to collect a large sum of extra tax. Paul Scheible quickly prepared amended returns, saving us a significant amount of money. Expensive! Spent over $3k annually with them and my taxes were not overly complicated. Even had a bookeeper organize all my business documents and I am highly organized for personal items. Would not recommend. Not even sure how they charge or determine what to charge other than income. Could not obtain itemized receipt after I questioned them a couple years ago about high cost!

Horrible experience. We asked Paul for help with a 2018 audit letter and to complete our 2020 taxes. Paul, instead did our 2019 taxes, which we did NOT request. We even emailed him a copy of our 2018 and 2019 taxes the same day we initially met, per his request, so there should have been no confusion on which year of taxes we needed completed. No help on our 2018 audit letter, other than to point out where I made the mistake. No 2020 taxes completed. All of this cost us over $1600 and we received NOTHING fo

Tax preparation was performed in a timely manner. The office notified me when my documents were prepared and ready to pick up. Paul explained one item to me in detail that may appear in the future, so I would not be surprised. I was glad he took the time to do that.
