Always a good place to go to do ur taxes been goin to them since 2016 great service!!!!!
Great people they will take care of all your needs
Vfery knowledgeable and precise. Out of anywhere I've been, they always get me taken care of with the biggest refund be and quickest appointments. Their fees are very competitive as well. Thank you John Buser for doing your job extremely well! Shout out to the front desk as well! Everyone in customer service should be as professional and friendly as she is!
Do not come here! They are very rude even when you call. I have always used Jackson Hewitt and recommend them. A friend told me she liked professional tax service. Mike Hays is who I was directed to. He was in a rush to leave, sent for a check instead of direct deposit, and was just very rude. Still decided to cash the check there for convenience. On top of the fees they already charged it was $221 to cash the check. I agreed to it but still outrageous.
I got audited by the IRS after using this service. I would be remiss if I didn't share my own experience. I had this company do my taxes around 2016- 2017. One of the older Buser men did it. He waved me in, and at the time he was watching golf. He watched golf the entire time while doing my taxes. I told him how important it was to me that it was done right, and that I didn't want the government to penalize me since I had made enough to file but PayPal hadn't sent me a 1099 or w2. He assured me there would
A friend recommended we make an appointment with Susan R. Whom we highly recommend. Professional, kind, and efficient, Susan is amazing. Even with the pandemic occurring within days of our appointment (last season) we were pleased with their service.
I at first recommended them because what happened wasn't their fault as described below (I originally posted on January 27, 2021) but I'm changing it because of what I just found out I was charged. I found out yesterday I was charged $269. Last time I had my taxes done professionally, less than 10 years ago, it was $60 something. Granted, I should've asked about the fees beforehand and didn't, but that is way, WAY too much! The person who served me was polite and professional, but I think the charge is out
Did my wifes and mines taxes and missed almost $2,000.00 which I thought I was posed to get more back then they said so I had H&R BLOCK take a second look and my hunch was right they missed almost 2k for my 2022 returns and cause of that and having to do a amended return my taxes were done Feb 10th and I just received them today may 12th so I don't recommend anyone go to these ppl to do ur taxes....
I had my taxes done by Luke I asked how much he told me why was I charged am extra 98 for bank fees!?!?! This is definitely my last year filing with professional tax!!! Highly upset I want my 98$ back ??
We have used this place many many times and we love Hanka ! She is friendly and professional !! Cindy is great too .we have had 3 of them all been good
Went to them last for 2015 taxes and they messed up filing. Several months later I had to go back and get my tax return amended. Filing for 2016, I'm having trouble filing because of this. WOW, 2 years later and we were told by the IRS that the amendment was never done....When I had to get it amended the owner acted like our taxes being messed up was no big deal. In 2016 they gave us so much trouble getting our previous information we needed to file out taxes elsewhere. I'm reporting them to the BBB today
Awesome service. Very professional, I'd recommend them to anyone for all of your tax needs and preparations. John is awesome, the entire staff goes above and beyond.
Love working with Tax Professionals. Melissa has done our taxes for several years. She always goes above and beyond in assisting us with questions. The entire staff is courteous, polite, and professional.

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
