Location was ideal for us. Room was meant for disabled people and having the bathroom sink outside of the real bathroom was a bit surprising... There was no shower gel in the shower, only shampoo and conditioner. WiFi was OK as well as all the bedroom electric equipment. Beds were really comfortable. We found the included breakfast to be more than acceptable with yogurts, scrambled eggs, bacon. I admit that the sausages were not our best. Staff was cordial and efficient. Parking was very easy. Noise insulat
Location is very convenient which is the middle of 101 road so you hop in and out easily. Parking is fair for the size of the hotel. They allow street parking. I got a pick up with a long trailer so I did not have any issues. Front desk guy named Daniel was very courteous and respectful to all guests. He made sure I was comfortable with my stay. Breakfast lady Alma was also very friendly and on top of the food on the trays were there so it can feed everyone. Items are good and fresh. Nothing to envy other h
Bathroom clean. Linens clean. Bed comfy. Shower was hot with good pressure. Room was not lacking fridge, microwave, or coffeemaker. No odors. No hidden charges. Good service. Sarah was friendly and knowledgeable about the nearby tourist town of Solvang. Breakfast buffet was decent. Based on comparison of price to the reviews, I recommend it as a value without negative aspects.
Great staff, nice room, 15 minutes from just about everywhere you want to go in this area!! Very nice! 4 star because really close to freeway so you hear the freeway in bed.
Right next to Solvang and all the beautiful tourist events there as well as sitting in a good part of Buellton -- this is nice quiet place to stay. The staff were friendly, the hot breakfast was good, and I didn't have any complaints at all. Safe location, and not too far away from Lompoc where I was moving to. Highly recommended - just book ahead of time, because it fills up quickly!
Stayed here for one night this past weekend to get away from the wildfires in LA. Perfect spot to check out amazing wineries and vineyards in nearby Los Olivos and Santa Ynez. I really liked the beds and how comfortable the sheets and pillows were. Most comfortable bed I've slept in in a "value/budget" type hotel lodging for sure. The rooms were clean as well. The shower in my room, 511, did have some faulty leakiness and a slow drain, but otherwise, everything was fine. Parking is easy and breakfast was
Great value for the price. We stayed just one night, but it was comfortable. The receptionist was friendly and provided plenty of helpful information.
Second time staying at this hotel while doing Solvang it's got to be one of the best choice hotels we have ever stayed in. It is so incredibly quiet unless of course you have a room right next to the freeway but you can't help that. The beds are right up my alley nice and firm but soft at the same time. the housekeeping staff along with all the other staff incredibly friendly and polite. it may sound silly but for me the biggest selling point for this hotel is they have coffee available 24 hours a day in t
Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was very nice, clean and fresh. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Morning, breakfast was very good with a wide variety of foods. I would stay here again when in the area!
Noisy as it's just on the 101 freeway. Also the noise isolation between the rooms is minimal to not existing, you can almost hear the next door guest fart. The rooms are tidy and clean, the staff are great
Great location, just minutes away from Solvang. Rooms were clean and service is always excellent. Free breakfast was a wonderful treat! We always stay here when we want a quick getaway; and it's dog friendly, so our pup can come too.
It's not luxurious at all, but the room has basic needs like tv, mini fridge, an iron+table and microwave We spent one night only. Service is ok. Breakfast was good.
Frankly, you get what you pay for. The rooms were just okay. The bedsheets were not properly cleaned, and had a weird smell. The bathroom smelled funky too - without any use. Since we were out most of the time and came back just to sleep, this worked out well for us. The breakfast was decent though.
Location is great.. quick drive to Solvang, wineries within 20 minutes, across the street is Firestone walker and 76 gas station; down the street is Albertsons, CVS, blenders in the grass, king coffee & more! Hospitality service is welcoming, we were greeted with fresh baked cookies & our room was very clean. We went for a wedding which just happened to fall on one of the busiest weekends with all the holiday festivities so the price was a bit high for two nights. However, everywhere else was $1,000+ so thi
The Front desk agent, was kind, helpful and inviting as soon as we entered and immediately offered us freshly baked cookies.
very nice Quality inn. Some of these are not so nice this one is about the same or maybe even better than many of the Comfort inns. I have stayed couple times now and every time was Perfect. Nice room, clean, tidy, Great breakfast....HOT....decent coffee Cookies on the counter. Totally worth it. I will be staying every time I am in town......Also Diamond parking NIce....
This hotel is a nice place to stay and the staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable I'll recommend this hotel to family friends and co workers
Great experience, nice atmosphere, beautiful clean rooms and the breakfast was awesome.
The room was ok but the service was not the best. The TV and other items were unplugged and when calling for help the guy just asked "well, do you want me to come plug it in?" Kind of a dumb question. He seemed bugged.
The room was updated, clean and inviting and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a lot of road traffic noise and the walls were not soundproof as you could hear people above and the water pipes were loud. The included delicious breakfast in the morning made for a great start to our day.
I don't review much but there are times I feel obligated. They had everything a single traveler could want, hot coffee all the time in the lobby, hot breakfast in the morning, rooms are clean and smell good. TV works, fridge works, everything works and the staff is very friendly. It's clear to me that whoever is running this hotel understands what people want when they are traveling. I will gladly stay here again if I'm in the area. A+ all around!
Great place to stay! Professional and friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, great breakfast. Just minutes away from the charming town of Solvang.
Friendly staff, nice room, great location. Highly recommend.
Convenient location for a Solvang Area visit. Room was well kept. Parking was easy as well. Best of all.. no hidden fees here!
I was amazed at the beautiful rooms here near Solvang, CA in Buellton. The rooms were quite spacious. The only problem was the freeway constant noice and limited breakfast options. Other than that, the hotel was satisfactory for the price and I would recommend it!
Great staff! Very friendly and efficient. Check in and out was great. Clean rooms and public areas. Breakfast was very good. No pool, but would definitely recommend and will stay here again if in the area. Cute part of town. We walked to a restaurant after dark and felt very safe.
Clean Rooms, hospitality was amazing, everyone was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Checked in late the staff was very accommodating. Beds are super comfy and the area is really nice right by the freeway. Shout out to Daniel for the great service and recommendation! Will definitely be back.
While the room is listed as an accessible room, it doesn't quite live up to true accessibility. The reason? It's too crowded thus making the use of a wheelchair inside the room very difficult. The restroom and shower are great and very large to roll into with a roll in shower and seat. But the room itself is too tight to wheel about in. Other than that, the room was clean and fresh and in very good condition plus the bed was comfortable. I rate it 4/5 because of the lack of space needed to use a wheelchair
May 25th- May 27th. Solvang & Santa Barbara Memorial Day Weekend. *I picked Quality Inn Buellton for the affordable price per night for a Memorial Day weekend. It is less than 10 minutes from Solvang, Ostrich Land (Yes. I did say Ostrich Land. A must in Solvang), 30-to 45 minutes to Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, and Santa Barbara. Plus being member of the Choice Hotels- rewards and points. *We arrived there before the check in hour of 4pm. I made a note while making the reservation-may arrive early and it pos
DONT STAY IN ROOM 113!!! it's right under the kitchen you will hear load foot steps starting at 4am and will not stop you will have every guest in the hotel walking above your room.
This was a very nice hotel. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in a small hotel. There was plenty of parking and it was FREE. Don't hesitate to book this hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
I got the room number 111. Above the room is the breakfast area and because of the wooden floor it was not possible to sleep anymore from 04:00am. You can hear every step and every moving chair. Also the window and air conditioner of the room is to the parking area. I smell everytime in the room the weed from the smoking people outside. I was talking to the woman at the lobby but she don't want to do something with the price or anything else. Very sad.
They have stinky old carpet everywhere. Avoid if you can. Rooms are old and not very clean.
A BIG thank you to Brandon at the front desk and the cleaning staff! I mistakenly left my AirPods in the room, and did not notice until I arrived back in Orange County. Thankfully Brandon provided a quick solution to get them back to me without having to drive 3 hours back! Aside from the great customer service, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and breakfast in the morning was a plus. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town.
One of the best quality inns I have stayed at. Rooms are clean and beds very comfortable. Price is good. Friendly and helpful staff.
Our stay was ok. The staff was friendly. Our room was very clean and stocked. The bed was very hard . The windows allowed so much road noise in that it made for a very restless night. The pet area was on the other end of the parking lot so it made taking the dog out a bit of a chore. The entrance has a large set of stairs so it is not handicap friendly. They offer a ramp entrance but it is located on the backside of the the hotel. Not a good set up for someone who has trouble walking. The breakfast was goo
Stayed in the Access ? room and it was very good. Very clean. A little tight between the bed and desk/dresser but I was able to squeak by. The bathroom is excellent! Roll in shower, shower chair, taller toilet, and space next to toilet to transfer. Breakfast was ok and staff were all really friendly. Only reason I took off a star was for the a/c not being able to turn the temp knob and I got very hot at night due to heat intolerance. But it was fixed on the stay back home.
We Were staying in room 405, the door looks like it's been kicked in at some point, says no smoking but smells like smoke, cigarette burn on the comforter. We are up stairs and are on a week vacation, so we have a lot of hiking gear coolers etc, there's no elevator! I guess for the price we just have to deal. I gave them back one star they did switch us rooms. It's the same type of room, just doesn't smell like an ash tray. I have bad asthma and I just couldn't. Bathrooms are nice, took a long time for th
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave which I wasn't expecting. Breakfast was good. Eggs, potatoes, biscuits with gravy, and bacon. Front desk and housekeeping were very friendly. Dining area was quite small. It was great for our visit to Solvang. They also have a lot of great restaurants near the hotel.
I traveled due to construction on my house so I went for shelter and peace. The staff was amazing and accommodating. Great for the price. It is right on the freeway though so it can be loud. Nice hot breakfast The room was clean and updated but was due for a deep cleaning like walls and carpets. The front desk, the maintenance and housekeeping teams were not only polite and efficient but also quiet which is great when you need rest There was an issue with people smoking outside of my window and I was unab
Sara and Brandon are the best front desk people we ever met, and we travel a lot, so we have a lot of experiences to compare to. These two are truly awesome! They are super friendly, helpful, and fun. Overall the quality of the property, rooms and services made us ?5 star happy? customers! Thank you!
The service here from the staff is friendly and excellent from the front desk reception to housekeeping. The rooms are clean...linens, towels and furniture surfaces were visibly clean. This Quality Inn is a two star hotel, and the negatives for the most part are because of the location. Like many other two star hotels, it is right next to a freeway (US 101) and if you are unlucky and get a room facing it, you will hear constant noise as we did. The lack of better insulated windows doesn't help. Otherwise, w
Stood here with my boyfriend halloween of 2023! The staff were the nicest people on the planet. They were so genuine and sweet. Extremely helpful, kind, and hospitable. Planning on staying here again just for a staycation of sorts just because we know it will be a comfortable nice quality clean room with the most friendly hosts imaginable!
As many of the reviews show the customer service exceeds expectations. Staff are accommodating, genuinely friendly and seem happy to work at the hotel. Rooms are exceptionally clean by today?s standards. While not right in Solvang this hotel?s standards far exceed Solvang hotel standards in this price range.
Rooms were clean staff was polite. You got restaurants close by along with the liquor store lol. And the rooms were decent size with the sink cabinets for your food, big refrigerator, microwave, blow dryer, everything that's needed
Very clean hotel with a hot breakfast included in the price. Hot breakfast includes, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, cold cereals, pastries, make your own waffles, various juices, coffee & Tea. Edward at check out was excellent and showed great team work when assisting Brianna in the breakfast room. Dirty dishes were quickly taken away and all food items were plentiful. If you stay here I would recommend a higher floor room as the walls are thin and you can hear everything above your room. We were kept up
We were in the area for a wedding and only stayed one night but we would certainly book there again. From the moment we walked in the front door everyone was so pleasant and helpful. We arrived early in the day and explained to Edward that we had a wedding in the afternoon and he was able to get us into a room right away. Each time we walked into the lobby, he greeted us by name. The room was simple but clean and served our purpose. One thing we had worried about when booking the hotel was the proximity to
I booked at the Quality Inn website, so I got a great price and the ability to choose my room, plus a "perk" for staying on a Thursday night. At check-in we were greeted with a jovial smile, and all the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a room not facing the highway. We did hear some folks stomping around upstairs, but they settled down quickly. The rooms were well appointed. Plenty of usb chargers, a fridge, microwave, wet bar. The beds were comfortable too. Breakfast was great. T
6th night on the road. After a horrible experience in San Diego at a very expensive hotel this little gem of a town a hotel was a godsend. The staff was very customer service oriented. The breakfast was hot and a great surprise. Will definitely come back if ever in this area.
I was surprised at how nice this hotel was, actually... for this price in this area I wasn't expecting much. The breakfast had lots of options (eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, pancakes, toast and bagels... as well as typical "continental breakfast" items like fruit, pastries, and cereal.) They had free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and oatmeal available in the lobby 24 hours a day. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience.
Room was very clean and well cared for, bedding was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast in the morning was impressive. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and you could choose from a variety of items. Rooms were comfy, clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Loved the shower head, not like being rained on, but a nice, quick to warm shower. One of my things. Lol
Quiet, dog friendly, very clean spot. Nice spread for breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits w gravy, waffle grill) and cute dining area. Free coffee and hot water in lobby. Friendly staff. Micro and coffee maker in room. We got a first floor room in the main bldg bc of the dogs, close to the reception area. Still quiet. Very happy with our stay!
Friendly and cordial staff. Immaculate room. Comfortable bed Excellent hot breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return visit. Thanks Sarah for all of your help.
Very clean. Got a great rate. Quite enough I didn't hear anything to disturb me. Took 2 stars off because the bed was hard and the pillows thin and hard, I ended up moving to a different hotel after waking up with my back hurting. If the bed was better with the rate it would have been 5 stars but you get what you pay for i guess.
Customer service was great, clean rooms and the breakfast was very good. The staff member kept things fresh and hot for the guests, and cooked the eggs perfect. This was just a quick sleep stop but would love to stay here anytime!
This quiet, clean, and well run inn was the best property we stayed during our So Cal trip. The room was recently updated with new furniture, a mini fridge, and a microwave. Surprisingly, my favorite detail was the alarm clock. Small, simple design with 2 USB charging ports and 2 additional power outlets on the nightstand between the beds. The simplicity and thoughtfulness was appreciated. The beds were great, linens clean. The breakfast was better than the embassy suites we stayed earlier. Overall, an enjo
The room was excellent. The included breakfast was really fine: there were substantial foods to choose from. Coffee and cookies are available 24 hours. Staff was very helpful. I was with a disabled person and our accessible room was inconvenient to get to. For able-bodied persons this would have been 5 stars.
Award winning hotel for a good reason. Fantastic service from staff. Thank you Debbie for the fresh cookies straight from the oven offered to guests in reception. Travel plans changed and was not charged for cancelling extra days booked. Room was clean, breakfast good. Loved making my own waffles and pancakes!
Good enough breakfast. Clean room
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast everyday was healthy and nutritious. The rooms were clean and the towels and bedding were changed everyday. Even though we were close to the freeway, the rooms at night were quiet.
Was just okay. Basic options for breakfast: egg, toast, potatoes, bacon. We brought our dogs which felt comfortable. The door to the side of the building was not locked (and could not be locked) which made it seem that anyone off the street could get in. No cameras to monitor the property. Would be better at <$100/night. For $180 after taxes this place is a rip off. (We booked last minute due to a change of plans which explains the cost)
Great location and rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was also good.
I booked last minute a couple hours before check in. Compared to everything else in the area, the prices were quite low, so I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in our room and saw how clean it was. I usually immediately lift coverlets to look for stains on the sheets, but they were spotless. Pillows were super soft and clean, plus mattress was super comfy. The furniture was dust free. The bathtub was either new, or had just been resurfaced. If anything, I would say that the o
Great value and stay. The room and bathroom were very clean and well kept- including the common areas. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. And what a complimentary breakfast; scramble eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, muffins, yogurt, and more-awesome. No doubt, I would surly recommend this location to family and friends.
One of the cleanest hotels I have visited in the US. A huge thank you to the breakfast person who does a great job. The breakfast is better than in hotels of a higher standard. The staff is very friendly. I recommend this hotel where the price is reasonable in 2022 compared to the rest
This was a very nice Inn. The room was spacious and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was small, but clean. They offered bacon, eggs, fresh pancakes and waffles, lots of cereals. I tried to get some water in the middle of the night, and the staff helped me to find it. TV quality was bad, though. Great location :close to everything. Would stay here again.
Fridge wasn't working, tv not in digital signal and remote malfunction, our first day there no room service and was the worst issue
This was a great place to stay. The service by the staff was wonderful and very welcoming. They were helpful in locating places to eat dinner and good with directions. The rooms were a nice size and clean. The continental breakfast was good and had a nice variety of items to choose from.
Clean and comfortable. Appears to have been recently upgraded. Pleasant staff. Ample "free" breakfast. Satisfactory accommodations but not worth the $257 a night we paid (Supply & demand - all the hotels/motels in town were at or near capacity).
This place is truly a hidden gem, both physically & economically. The staff is exceptionally helpful & friendly. The rooms are clean, & updated with the hottest of bath water, a rarity among many other establishments. An extremely quiet place with a terrific breakfast!!
Great staff. Comfy beds and rooms.
perfect place to stay. I was only there for one night but the motel was very clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast served was full of choices and all was delicious. If I'm up that way again, I will definitely book with them.
My stay was amazing! Great staff, great location, & great breakfast! I took a video but cannot upload. Our room was updated, bed was so comfortable, spacious restroom, and I like the extra mirrors. Will definitely stay again!
Poor Customer Service!! First things first, I made the initial mistake but the hotel was not accommodating when I asked for assistance. I made a reservation for one night through a third party and it had a hotel randomizer option. It picked between 3 hotel for a fixed price so we went with that. This hotel was one of the options. Little did we know the dates did not match the ones we initially wanted and overlooked that when booking. (My mistake) I called the hotel and first asked if they had availability
We stayed there for a night and the hospitality was good. Rooms are neat and clean. Morning breakfast included and are ready from 6am.
Great stay! My boyfriend and I booked a room here about 4 hours before we planned to get there. The room was clean and service was great. The free wifi was fast. We had breakfast here when we woke up and it was delicious for being a self serve breakfast. Will stay here again if needed!
Affordable and relatively clean though very worn. Breakfast was ordinary. Trash was piled up at the far end of the building. The hotel might be described as accessible but that was stretching the truth. Accessible access of the elevator is located at twists and turns from the parking lot and the lobby is located up a flight of stairs. Most disturbing was the faulty toaster located in the auxiliary breakfast area which lit toast on fire smoking two mornings in a row at 630a and 7a, setting off fire alarms an
Does the job, was able to get a good night's sleep and was close to Solvang. The room was in the smaller side. I could hear airplanes overhead every 5min or so but not hugely distracting. When the room next to us used their shower, a noise could be heard.
I wasn't there for long, only a night with my parents. It was good, the guy at the counter (Aaron) was really nice but he seemed tired, I'm glad today is his day off. However, at 3 AM I was woken up by the sound of the toilet leaking. My parents soon woke up and called room service to help us out, but they couldn't do much besides wipe up all the toilet water because it was 3 AM. Overall pretty good, but not great.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Quality Inn in Buellton. Even though it's literally next to the freeway we were not bothered once by traffic noise. It's also walking distance to the Firestone Walker Brewery and restaurant and even though we didn't walk just knowing we could is kinda cool. Conveniently located to everything in town. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly.
What a great stay at this quality inn! The room was spacious , clean and with all we needed. Office chair and desk, kitchenette with small fridge, microwave and sink and 2 very comfortable queen beds. Bedsheets are clean and good quality as well as the plushy towels we got. There is an iron, iron board, hangers, hair dryer and all the necessary toiletries. Bathroom is clean and it had good water pressure and warm water was promptly available. Breakfast consisted of eggs, potatoes, bacon waffles, yogurt, o
My wife and I love this little place, we have stayed a few times the staff is great the rooms are well maintained and are very nice. We usually end up with the accessable room. And it's perfect and my wife is very happy ...that's for always making our stay great
Highly recommend this facility. For a little inn, it is clear that the staff cares about making it a comfortable environment. Clean, fresh coffee available night and day, pet friendly, quiet and relaxing with views of cows grazing on rolling hills. And most of all, the staff was incredibly accommodating and nice. They greeted me by name each morning, answered questions about the town, provided a flashlight to borrow when I decided to go out for an evening walk, and even used their personal car and jumper ca
Quaint. Very quiet. Strange floor plan; our accessible room was inconvenient to get to. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant. THE BREAKFAST WAS A BONUS. It was included in the room price and was very generous, not just coffee and doughnuts in an area with tables and chairs. There was batter to make fresh waffles, bacon, scrambled eggs, and various cereals, and..... Also there is coffee and cookies available at the front desk all night long.
Hotel was nice and remodeled, including the room. Continental breakfast was the usual fare, not bad. Had a pay washer and dryer for guests that we used, but they were located outside, bizarrely. Front desk was friendly, and helpful. Overall, rate was cheap for how nice it all was.
Great location. Easy access to freeway. Reasonable rates. Free breakfast. Free fresh coffee available all day. Great beds. Recently every room upgraded. 20 minute drive to Solvang. I have been coming here year after year. I recommend 100%.
This hotel has quickly become my favorite spot to stay in the Solvang area. Staff is attentive and efficient. Looking forward to staying in the future!

Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
