RFA has been great! Everyone is super friendly and helpful! I have had super bad luck in the past and it's been super hard to find someone to trust. But this company has honestly made my life much more easier, they worked with me and the helped me understand the process of it all. Bella has been really good in keeping in touch and helping me through it all! So happy I found them, I Highly recommend?
After my former ?tax guy? retired, I was referred to RFA by a family member. I was impressed with the fast response time to all my inquiries. I learned valuable, helpful information from their very knowledgeable Enrolled Agent. My tax returns were completed quickly & accurately and their fee schedules were lower than expected! I know I will be able to count on the professional, intelligent, honest RFA Financial Center staff to help me, from now on.
Felt very welcome when I came in to receive help from the workers. Ms. Bella was amazing! She was juggling getting all my tax forms together while making sure I get the best outcome possible for me at the very end. Would recommend to any body any day of the week.
People here are always nice and helpful with filling out and doing my taxes. They also remind me when my taxes are do. 10/10 recommend this place.
I had a very positive and helpful experience at RFA! Their staff was extremely kind and responsive. Ricardo was professional and insightful during our meeting and assisted me with all of my tax needs. I am very impressed with RFA.
RFA was honestly the best preparation tax service I have ever gone to. They were super friendly, extremely efficient, and fast with their services especially Ricky Alvarez. They definitely made the tax filing process easy and smooth. I plan on coming back here during tax season in the upcoming years.
Ricky made my experience so seamless and easy. I had 3 W2s this year and turbo tax wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount of money. Ricky walked me through the whole process and maximized my tax return to the best of his ability. This was my first time back and definitely not my last at RFA. Thanks guys!
If possible 0 stars would be given. I had came with Ricardo last year for my taxes which he did great on. I stopped today for my appointment and they called me over to tell me how much I would be receiving back. The numbers I got were to low and decided to go somewhere else where they were giving me more. I told the guy in the front ?I will come back maybe later, somewhere they are giving me a bit more?. Moments after Ricardo comes out and the guy tells Ricardo I didn't want to proceed with the refund there
Thank you to the team of RFA Financial! My wife and I of course we're waiting till the last min to get our taxes done. They were very professional and understanding our situation. They helped out without hesitation to make this very smooth. Thank you Ricardo! ????
At RFA financial they offer the best service to get your taxes done. They work quickly, professionally and are super communicative. Definitely coming back next year!
I'm been coming to RFA for the past 9+ years. Ricardo and his team alway do a greater job and their services are top notch.
I went in with a question unrelated to his normal tax work. Within hours one of his associates called me with an external advisor on the line. They answered my question fully. A wonderful response with no monetary benefit to RFA.
Ricardo is Not a person of Trust or a Professional as he claims to be , He Lies, Disrespectful, Dishonest . Makes Huge Mistakes That will get Audited and Owe the I.R.S Thosands of your Hard Earned Money . Beware
Best tax business around. Quick, responsive, and super professional! Definitely will be using RFA Financial for all my tax needs in the future ????
Very professional and great costumer service. Quick service done right the 1st time. Very diligent and if there are any issues the owner will personally call you to inform you that the issue was taken care of. Great location easy to find. I would highly recommended this location.

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
