DO NOT TRY TO FILE YOUR OWN TAXES. We worked with ?Ms. Jessica Mitchell, CPA,? and she was truly a Godsend. By our calculations we would have owed over $7k in additional taxes one year. We did it wrong. She did our taxes and found we were actually owed a sizable REFUND. ?? She also made everything so EASY. We sent everything to her via email and she would get back to us with updates or instructions. I pretty much took care of everything on my phone between meetings at work. Travis helped us SO MUCH to feel comfortable and confident with our taxes this year since we had all kinds of new-to-us situations like early IRA withdrawal, purchasing properties for short term rentals plus 1099 and W2 income. I hired SAG for bookkeeping and tax prep a year ago. They have online appointment scheduling for consults and checkins. I checked in mid year and at end of year to get updates about my first year in business.
