I was there for my son's graduation. What a beautiful campus. It's also HUGE. Be prepared to walk a lot. They have a free shuttle, but the steps and routes seem limited, but it's free. I walk with a cane. Whenever I tried walking somewhere, a golf cart would zip up out of nowhere, and take me where I needed to go. They also fed all of the families extremely well. The food was great, with fresh and unique choices, and the portions huge. We were never asked for a penny to pay. The whole campus has a very welc

The university is open to the public and you can just wander around. It's not super historical but the main buildings are pretty nice. The atmosphere is good and the place is so well maintained. Overall I definitely recommend stopping by for a 30 min walk if you are around to look at one of the best universities in the world

Stanford University and Campus is open to the public and like us tourists. I first came here when I was still in Highschool one can't help but feel the history of the place as it is one of the premiere schools in the U.S. There are history etched inside the Church. The whole area is very picturesque and has that academe feel to it while roaming around. I highly recommend visiting Stanford whenever you're around the area.

As an international PhD student in the US, I always wanted to visit Stanford. I had the chance recently and it was an amazing time that I spent on the campus! This is a humongous and lush green campus which spans over thousands of acres. There is also a bus service from the metro line that drops you directly to the oval.

Mid Dec2024 During break the students are mostly gone but the campus is still beautifully represented by its large green spaces and beautiful architecture. A walk along Palm drive and a visit to the Hoover Tower are much recommended activities even on a chilly winter's day.

Our experience is not academic but just a visit on the campus. It's so beautiful to stop and admire the buildings, the church, the corridors. The huge track and field ground. Our visit to bay area is never complete without taking a stroll here. You can sign up for a guided walk or just do one by yourself. Either way it's beautiful. There is lot of free parking on site and also a gift shop and cafes.

I haven't been accepted to Stanford, but keep coming here for dates in a beautiful scenery. Once I ate in their cafe: the food was "edible. " Definitely going to recommend this uni to my kiddo, it's close to home, and, as I shared above, the food in the cafeterias are fine.

I recently visited Stanford University and was thoroughly impressed by its vibrant and inspiring atmosphere. We stopped to take personal tour since my goddaughter will attend college soon. I guess they hype these universities up so you expect to see golden streets! ?? The most beautiful part of school is hits historical church. It's amazing and the architecture and mosaics are breathtaking taking! The stain glass, there are no words! They have sculptures all around campus which are mostly in museum. The campus itself is not very impressive so thank goodness it has the academics which is most important. The Books

What a campus! Incredible architecture and gives you an Italian historic tour. Definitely spend 2-3 hours walking around to give justice to the building designs.

Incredible architectural design! I went here since we were visiting a friend. Though it was most definitely a Christian structure, it was very aesthetically appealing. Very big and the greenery here is like no other! Not many restrooms but that's fine, and kind of hard to navigate but overall pretty good and in well shape. Clean too. It was a little boring though but I'm fine with that. Maybe would go again.

One of the most beautiful campus i have ever visit.

Went for a jog around campus with my dog before work. Excellent run, total elevation change was 43 feet. Had a 10k pr due to the low elevation. Looking forward to more runs. The Stanford grounds crew was mowing the green which was really nice. I'd recommend to get outside and enjoy.

We try to stop at any college we are near when traveling. It is fun to walk around the campus and see the great architecture, knowing we will never have to attend any classes. Stanford has some iconic buildings and is absolutely worth a visit. We felt that our IQs were improved just from being here.

Stanford University has the largest campus that I know of, globally. Come and enjoy the amenities, the place is big play ground and everyone is pretty much invited. Just be nice and mind the traffic, it's terrific.

Stanford campus is one of the must-visit Bay Area sites. Campus is vast and beautiful. The weather is almost perfect all year round. It typically take about 4-6 hours to have a full tour of the enormous campus. I have taken a few pictures for us to share. Hope you would like them.

Attended the annual Pow Wow. Amazing dancing & drumming. Needed more bleachers in the shade. Highly recommend this yearly event. They sell yummy foods & fry bread. Lots of booths with items for sale. Watch for it on campus events. Always in mid-May over 3 days. Free camping.

The architecture is phenomenal. Loved the church, the arena, and the labs! It's summer, so lucky me! Plenty of parking around 7 pm on a Wednesday! So guess what's gonna happen in the Fall!!

Very large campus with some attractions. Visit the Hoover Tower (elevator) and the Hoover exhibition halls. The Memorial Church with its beautiful windows all with free entrance. Also the Rodin-Replicas outside the Cantor Arts Center are in open air and free to visit. For parking, you can use a website to pay per hour, even foreign credit cards works. Wait for good weather, it's nothing you wanna do in the rain.

The place with nice vibe. We had just a small walk here. I was never dreaming about studying in such a place. But the understanding that here is The university with huge history, so old and beautiful made me happy

I'm not a student, but this place is something that you can not miss! Amazing architecture, Rodin garden with unique sculptures with big hands, and a spirit of student life are the most important things which give you a full impression. Parking lot is huge. Church has working hours and not open for visitors all day long. Restrooms and cafeterias are working for you.

This is an amazing place, absolutely the best in medical care and technology. The Dr.s are very good, support staff and nurses are second to none. Nowhere would Ibrather be if in need of medical care!

Without a doubt, Stanford is one of the best places to receive care. I have a friend who is dealing with a serious liver condition, and the way the staff has cared for him is truly amazing. Thank God for compassionate and dedicated professionals like them?good people helping others in their most difficult times. I may not fully understand what my friend is going through, but the team at Stanford makes everything look and feel so much easier. Their support has made a real difference.

Visited Stanford a while ago. A beautiful place with great scenary. There are plenty of sights to see. There is also a cafeteria where you can grab a bite. Make sure to check the Hoover tower. Entry is only a few dollars and you can stay up there for a while. Great views of Stanford. Also there is a library that is worth seeing. You can buy science books which is interesting. Finally make sure to check out the Stanford Art Gallery.

I don't go here but have a relative that does, so I'm here all the time. Stanford has a very VERY beautiful campus, and plenty to do. The campus is very large, as well.

From a public perspective the exterior architecture of the buildings was amazing. They definitely bring back the college/university memories. One of the best places to spend and evening for a brisk walk. THe campus is huge with good ground to cover. Overall it's well maintained and I was able to see a lot of people picnicking in the main lawn with kids. Would definitely go back. Nice place to show elderly parents if you're bringing them from your home country.

Breathe taking views. One of the prettiest Universities I've ever been to. Enormous in size and also having a huge amount of famous location right on the school land. You might consider renting a bike or a scooter while exploring Stanford. I chosed walking and after a long day of endless sightseeing, I still couldn't explore all the sights.

Doesn't feel like academic but some tourist centre

I would say one the greatest university of USA is this university! I was a part of a educational tour from my school in India & we as a group visited this place as a part of our tour. This is place is really nice. Higher standards of hygiene are maintained here! And as I talked to few students, this place seems to be best in terms of education too! The feeling of revisiting after three years is very different. The cause of the epidemic seems to be closed, there are no tourists or students here. very quiet. Many places are under repair, but it is best for us to take pictures. The attractions are just as beautiful!

A university that most dream of. Not only from states but also worldwide. Lucky to have chance to visit during business trip. Call it site inspection, maybe one day my children will have the honor. You never know! It's so beautiful and amazing. You can feel the scent.

Enormous campus. Very beautiful. In town from Wisconsin. Bookstore didn't have wrestling gear. Had to go on a journey to find the other store near track stadium. Wish that info was clearer. But got to explore campus

Perfect!!! beautiful place, nice, clean, many students passing by, good signage, the night could be better lit in some areas. But I recommend visiting the area, the campus is huge.

This venue cannot handle large events. Parking is chaotic and there is a lack of staff. Sealed water bottles weren't allowed in although their website clearly states they are. Walkways and gates funnel crowds to extreme discomfort and lack of direction. Would not recommend attending a concert or large event.

I had a positive experience there. They were quick and friendly, some even had jokes to try to keep u calm which I appreciated!

Great place to learn how school is beautiful. We visited on Saturday so It's easy to park in the school. There was promotion event. My kids enjoyed looking the promotion speeches.

A dream for every high school student! One of the best school in the world. Indeed, have a breathtaking view! The tranquility within the campus is very suitable for a afternoon nap. Suggest tourist to visit the campus during the Summer or the School's open day, since during the summer there will be less traffic and School's open day provide you guys an opportunity to know more about the school.

If you are visiting..do go for the walking tour at visitor centre. It's a beautiful campus. Your tour guide will tell interesting facts and stories about this great place. Try to go for the first tour in the morning as by the time our tour ended, the Hoover tower was closed and we could not go all the way up

I have loved Stanford University since moving to America at the age of 9! My first football game was at Stanford. I had my first hot dog at Stanford. I spent high school going to volleyball game. I spent college enjoy Stanford with Stanford students and attending football games. I hope to graduate from Stanford with my MBA researching mindset and human behavior. I Visit at least once a week. I have been Stanford faithful for over 10years.

Wednesday at Stanford I did a short introduction for probably one of the most distinguished panels ever assembled in the technical field. From left to right, Brad Parkinson, inventor of GPS (standing), Marty Cooper, who made the first cell phone, John Cioffi, who invented the technology inside cable modems, Vint Cerf, father of the Internet, Sir David Payne, inventor of the optical amplifer, and Irwin Jacobs, founder of Qualcomm, the huge company that makes the inside of cell phones.

The ER staff, or ROYAL AMBULANCE lost all off my personal belongings. Wallet, money Credit Carda, house and car keys, and very expensive clothing... Nobody has answers and I dedicated to file a lawsuit....

What ever I read about comments there were no secured in university area, expensive, rejection or other negative comments are real and it happens all where other good universities like others. However this is the best university in some areas and no body deny that.

Swarming with Asian tourists snapping photos, it really is worth your time to see the original buildings of the University, and this quad in particular. The buildings and grounds are grand, and are quite a bit different from what you see at prestigious colleges back East. This is truly a "new world" university.

I love this campus. Okay i might be bias because i work for the University but i do think it is a very beautiful campus. I get to walk around and get lost when I'm not too busy. I'm lucky that i get to do this and I'm really going to miss it when we move to the new office. Come visit the campus if you are in the area. You will love it...
