I'm a small business owner with limited understanding of financials/taxes/etc. so I was seeking a company to help work with me not just on the numbers but on understanding the process. What a great team to work with. Even during busy tax season, we received quick responses to our questions along with excellent guidance and advice. We had hired Susan's team for tax season but enjoyed our experience so much we are working with them year round now.

Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been extremely negative. My entire family's identities were stolen, and despite the clear breach (which I believe was due to hacking rather than intentional wrongdoing), they refused to take responsibility or provide any guidance on how to protect our information or contact the IRS. I do not recommend using Susan Lewis Ltd for your tax filing needs. We have utilized her services and are not satisfied with their customer service or rather, lack there of. Relocated to the Naperville, IL area and dropped of our tax return mid-March 2017. Approximately 4 months later taxes are still not finalized. Calls to the office are not returned and if they are it is to review information that has already been provided. In no way did I expect, due to my late drop off, my tax information would not be filed by the April 15th deadline...but 4 months and still not finalized is unacceptable!

Very unprofessional firm. It's been more than 2 weeks since I submitted all my papers, and they still haven't finalized my returns. They kept pushing the completion date back. There was no communication from their end and I had to always follow up on my end to know the status. Worst experience dealing with a CPA firm!!

Warning! Absolute disaster experiences. Nice person but she probably got too big too quickly and couldn?t handle all her clients. They actually have HR Block do some of their work because they can?t keep up. Even if you turn your papers in by February or earlier. This was found out after one client got information that the firm needed to file for an extension because they were so far behind. We left her firm. However, our latest experience after we had already switched firms because of problems) was getting
