This company is a scam. I paid $500 for a consultation and all they offered was a payment plan, which additional costs. I was told they are able to resolve all claims. When I asked for a refund, I was ghosted. Do NOT use this fraud of a company. **UPDATE they called to resolve my negative review, but I missed the call. I called back 8 minutes later and phone rang with no voicemail. Still unresolved

While the start of the process was encouraging now I pray for ways to get from under this nightmare! This process took months longer than I was told during consult. The process cost me over $9k and nothing was done at all! I now owe the IRS over $25k more than I did when I contacted Tax Rise. I DO NOT recommend this company at all!! BEWARE!!! Paid 6k to them to help me with my taxes. They assured me every step of the way that I had a great case for an offer in compromise. Only to find out at the end that because I already had an existing monthly payment plan with the IRS the best we could do was to put my account on hold. They gave me a 2k refund (I contacted the IRS at some point and got my account on hold myself). They just want your money. Do the offer in compromise yourself.

TaxRise did not fulfill agreement to protect me from liens and garnishments. They did not process my tax returns in a way that would optimize my deductions and reduce tax debt. The company has poor communication and follow through. I spent over $8500 dollars and the company now states that I am not eligible for any government programs. The team was not familiar with my personal situation despite many notifications and attempts to contact them. I signed up with them Nov 2023 and I was garnished twice in May

This company is a joke. You don't hear from them for a loooooong time. I had to email them and they come back and added 50.00 to our payment to irs. They sent the email yesterday June 17 and said for me to be in good standing our first payment is on 5/28. How does this help us out? Already behind on payment and Taxrise didn't help out at all. Don't use this company.

Originally when I called them, they were very kind and polite. Told me everything they could do for me. I assured them all I wanted was my back taxes from 17 and 18 done. I used TaxRise to help me with my taxes and all they did was help themselves. They only called me when it had to do with setting up a payment plan and never about the status of my file. I was not notified about my case being overwith. I only found out about the status of my case when l started receiving notices from the IRS saying l owed them money because certain forms were not included on my tax forms(Which TAXRISE should have submitted.) This company has done nothing but lied to me. The first person I spoke with said he would be with me the entire time and help me with any and all questions. After.i sign the payment agreement I never heard from him again, also his phone number was disconnected. A month after i was told everything was done, I noticed on the irs website my taxes were Not filed. I had to call them to let them know they were not filed. Ehich caused me thousands in late fees.
