We recently stayed at Tenaya Lodge for 4 nights with a multi-generational group?grandparents, toddlers under 4, and a few adult friends. While the setting is undeniably beautiful and the proximity to Yosemite is a major draw, we left feeling underwhelmed by the overall value, especially given the premium pricing. Service and amenities fell short of expectations for a resort of this caliber. Dining options were limited, and food service was consistently slow and, at times, surprisingly unfriendly. At breakf
We had a fantastic stay at Tenaya Lodge! The location is perfect ? just minutes from the south entrance to Yosemite, making it a great base for exploring the park. The lodge offers a wide range of activities, many of which are included, like bike rentals, which was a nice surprise. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated their thoughtful approach to sustainability ? they proactively asked how often we'd like towels and sheets changed, striking a great balance between com
Rooms are pretty standard. You would have expected more of a forest theme but that's not the case. The location and the services make up for the pretty basic rooms. They have a BBQ Cookout that is absolutely amazing and lots of on-site activities. 5 mins away from the national park gates which is super convenient but it's still about an hr drive to the Yosemite Valley
We had a wonderful stay at the Tenaya Cabins! The cabin was very spacious and all the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. The room included walking sticks and a pair of binoculars which was a must to see the climbers! The property is absolutely stunning and the amenities are top notch! The club house offers free continental breakfast which was a perfect way to get a quick meal in before a long day at Yosemite. Our kids especially loved making s?mores by the fire every night. We also love
We stayed in the cottages and enjoyed the private patio after a long day in the park. Did not have time to use the amenities and would have liked to add an extra spa/pool day. The grounds are beautiful and the dinner BBQ a fun way to meet other guests, particularly at the fire-pit for smores. The vibe is family friendly and casual.
The Lodge was stunning. Big Fireplace outside and inside entry. The resort is very big, lots to see. All the staff were super friendly! Our room very clean and big. In the evening they provide everything for Smores next to the check in. Breakfast buffet and Dinner always delicious! We used the swimming area with our son and it was always clean. I definitely recommend this location and would come again!
We absolutely loved this place! We are fairly ?picky? people and I would say expect value for what we pay. We went off season time but it was amazing. Staff great! Room solid 4! Very clean, smelled fresh. Everything worked! Love the pool, bar, to-go food, restaurant not bad ($$$)! Fun amenities like rock climbing wall and game room for kids. All included. Even archery and renting bikes we didn't get to. We will definitely be back!!
The food at the restaurant in the Lodge was very good (we ate both breakfast and dinner there). The servers were professional and courteous. I liked that there was an option to choose from a buffet breakfast or a la carte from the menu. There were 5 people in my room, and we requested a rollaway bed (at a small cost). The rollaway bed we received was surprisingly comfortable. The mattress was thick and not saggy at all. Another thing we enjoyed was the fire pits around the grounds. My family and I were able
We stayed two nights in the Explorer Cabins at Tenaya Lodge, and it was a fantastic experience. The main hotel is fabulous with so many activities for kids?free bikes, a fun kids? climbing wall, a cozy s?more time, and a great selection of board games at the reception area. The pool was beautiful, and to our surprise, they even played a movie for the kids while they swam! There's also a clean and fun game room that kept everyone entertained. Despite a minor issue, what impressed me most was how management
I just went here to charge my car, but their car charging was perfect and I walked around the hotel for a bit. It looked really nice. The pool is beautiful. It's a gorgeous location and the bathrooms were clean.
I had an exceptional stay at this luxurious hotel, perfectly situated in an ideal location. The staff was outstanding, and the room was impeccable. The amenities truly elevated the experience, with thoughtful touches like firewood stocked in the fireplace and complimentary snacks and water in the lobby, details often overlooked by other hotels. My only critique is the dining experience; the dinner fell short of expectations, especially given the price, which was disappointing. Despite this, everything else
This place still is the best location to stay when visiting Yosemite with family. The location is unbeatable, the property is well kept yet has that ?old school? feel of hospitality, and the staff is always friendly. I checked in the day before my birthday, and the front desk lady who checked me in noted, and the next day, she sent me a bottle of wine and the cutest decorate yourself mini cupcakes plate. That is the kind of gesture that reminds us that kindness is not dead, and great hospitality lives in th
I was planning a family trip to the resort. We had an emergency come up and had to cancel. In planning and canceling I had the pleasure of working with Stefanie Rainwater. Stefanie was extremely professional and accommodating. If she is emblematic of the staff a this hotel, the service must be impeccable. My family is looking forward to our visit at the hotel and thanking Stefanie in person.
It advertises as a mountain resort but it's lacking in so many areas. The cottages are not ideal and do not give you a serene quiet relaxing experience due to paper thin walls and the fact you have two other quest room ?suites? in one cottage. The parking at cottages are terrible. We stayed 4 nights (cost $1400 - due to ?resort fees) and could hear every time someone opened or closed their doors or used any water or flushed toilet. Food was trash and way over priced, the ?resort? is trying to pass it as a
We had a great experience at Tenaya. The staff went above and beyond with some snacks and cider for a special celebration upon arrival. The cabin was a hit for my family with the board games and fun clubhouse. The kids really enjoyed the archery, rock wall, and the pool. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. The location was great for entering Yosemite National Park.
We had a fantastic time at the lodge. Easy access to Yosemite. We loved having the ability to take a hike, then go to our hotel and sit poolside for a bit, and then return to the park for an evening stroll in Mariposa Grove. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. While we were traveling without children, we enjoyed watching all of the families that were there and the plethora of things for kids to do! It was nice to escape to our "adults only" floor and enjoy the quiet as well.
I can say my favorite employee is Karla Dugger friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable! The best food is the breakfast waffle station? delicious. The valet service is outstanding. Front desk staff okay, as we checked out after a week no ?thank you? or anything else. Room was adequate the toilet did not have a cover seat.
We stayed in a Cabin Suite for my son?s wedding in May. Everything from the service to the accommodations was perfect. The staff handled the event arrangements beautifully. It is a beautiful location and so convenient for park access. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering saying.
The resort excided our expectations. The room was good and the amenities at the resort are great. We loved the cinema in the inside pool! We also did the Flashlight hike and we totally recommend it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting things about the local vegetation and animals and also about the stars!
Awesome experience. They have thought of it all! Our only disappointed was a very slightly messed up room service order but we were so happy with our cabin and the gorgeous and quiet pet friendly amenities that it actually didn't even matter. Have already recommended to several friends! Get an explorer cabin for an extra quiet and awesome experience!
I absolutely loved my stay here and can't wait to come back?next time for even longer! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the whole experience feel warm and personal. The accommodations were luxurious yet cozy, with thoughtful touches throughout. I especially loved the steam room and sauna?such a perfect way to unwind after a chilly spring evening outdoors. A truly special place near Yosemite that I'd recommend to anyone looking for comfort, nature, and relaxation all in one. I especially
Excellent property that is very close to the south entrance of the Yosemite National Park. The restaurants within the hotel are a bit expensive but very good. The pool area is very good. They have separate kids pool and adults pool. They also have two hot jacuzzi pools. They have lot of activities that are included. They have fire pits and s'mores in the evening that make it very special for kids. Overall great place and would stay here again .
I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Service, rooms, food, and atmosphere were all great. Room was spacious, the lobby was fun at night, the restaurant was delicious. I especially enjoyed soaking in one of their 4 hot tubs after a day of hiking.
We stayed both at cottage and lodge. Lodge has definitely a Davy Crockett vibe, with a vintage bathroom and an apartment in the woods. The fact that we're surrounded by trees while sleeping is reassuring and relaxing. The lodge is more comfort-focused with the modern amenities and bedroom you would expect in a high standing hotel. Pleasure to the eyes. The breakfast is very tasty. The swimming pool should be more frequently maintained because there were quite a certain amount of bees, flies and hornets that
Rooms are clean big enough for a family of two adults and A kid. We expected A mountain view but all we had is just parking view! They do not clean rooms daily and we asked couple of times but they rejected it!! Even the towels did not refresh them! Location is good and family friendly
I'm so happy we stayed here. Just a little outside the national park, which was perfect for us. The rooms are nice & clean and they provided great room service. Each night we had dinner at the restaurant and they not only offered great service for my husband and I but also our dog. The food was really good & there was even a menu for dogs! Nice relaxing place with hammocks, fire pits for s?mores and an ice-skating rink . Look forward to staying here again the next time we visit Yosemite.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of Tenaya Lodge. I travelled here for a conference and stayed for four days total. The lodge itself is beautiful, well maintained and clean. The fitness room is small, but has enough equipment that I managed to get in workouts even with heavy snowfall outside. I did not have my child with me, but the lodge seemed to be very kid friendly - the indoor pool had a large projection screen and played movies at least one of the evenings I was there. There is also a decent
This lodge is just outside of Yosemite Natioinal Park and close to Nelder Grove and Corlieu falls which are nice hikes outside of the park. I'm not crazy about the barn doors on the bathroom, but everything else was very nice. Game tables in the large, open lobby for chess, backgammon and chinese checkers are fun for an evening in, complete with piano serenade. The indoor pool is great fun all year round, as well as the hot tubs. There is another game room near the pool that has air hockey, foose ball, and
A wonderfully located lodge at the footsteps of Yosemite. The rooms are very comfortably sized - I would have rated them 5* but the access control system was not working which made it somewhat problematic. Loved the fire pits outside to toast marshmallows and more smores. The meeting rooms were also nice with lots of natural light. Definitely worth visiting Tenaya Lodge!
Tenaya lodge is the perfect spot for anyone that loves visiting the Yosemite area! It is suitable for those who love sport activities, and relaxing activities like. We have been going for 20 years as a young couple, parents of young children, and now parents of young adults we especially love the cottages, but all options are good. It's also a great spot for family reunions, and holiday celebrations.
The lodge entrance and lobby is very impressive and warm. The staff is very kind. The main restaurant serves good food. The s?mores every evening that you heat by the fire is a cool and fun way to end the evening. There was a live guitar player elevating the atmosphere in the evening. The sauna and steam room close at 8pm which hardly gave me the time to enjoy after full days of trails! Pretty disappointing. I tried Saturday the steam room but the temperature is set so low that I couldn't sit more than a mi
We very much enjoyed a 2 night stay here whilst we visited Yosemite, ideal location if you're going in and out the park. The food was excellent the rooms are big and comfortable with good amenities. The lobby with the open fire was a great view to come into! The adult only pool area was perfect for us to relax on our honeymoon. The only thing I'd say is the AC could be a little better as it wouldn't drop to the correct temperature and we stayed during a 27 degree days and the Wi-Fi is very in and out, I gue
Most of the staff at Tenaya Lodge were great! Jorge our server was the bomb! Justin did an exceptional job bartending. The gal at the front desk was so kind and friendly. I'm sorry I forgot her name. Our Suite , on the lower floor was in the cold side. The heater couldn't keep room warm. Blessing we had a fireplace. That took the chill off. Our Suite did not have carpet throughout the unit?.that also added to the chill factor. Housekeeping tended to forget about us. Loved the movies by the pool. Outd
Great hotel! It is very clean and large room with 2 beds for my family of four. We also booked the Yosemite Winter tour and it was outstanding. Our tour guide, Scott, was so knowledgeable and we felt like we got to see the highlights of Yosemite. My only complaint is the food at the Jackalopes restaurant. The food is ok, not great for a vegetarian. I had the shrimp tacos and they were pretty good. I also had the caesar salad and it was just ok. Very limited options which makes it especially ha
I've stayed at Tenaya many times and tried the cottages this year. The unit was wonderful with a balcony, fireplace, and extra bedroom. I was expecting a small kitchenet since it was away from the main area, but it just had the usual. You want to make sure there is a fan in bedroom, as the air flow is bad and made for a hot and stuffy night sleep.
This place was top notch. Everyone was very kind & accommodating. All the food at the bar and grill was top tier. Fun free activities as well as easy set up for excursions! Definitely coming back with the rest of our crew!
Amazing place. The most pet friendly resort I've ever stayed at. They have dog treats, a separate menu for dogs at the on premise restaurant, poop bags and the whole package. Our 2 yr old beagle loved it. Lots of activities for kids like rock climbing, archery, game room, pool movies etc etc. kids had a lot of fun. Very close to the valley and all the trails and hikes. Great place. Very friendly staff. Lots of fun for the whole family. I'd stay again.
Came here for a conference. In our first room the shower didn't work. We were moved to a room at the very back of the hotel in the farthest spot from our conference. We were given a breakfast voucher for the inconvenience that our $300/night room was not checked to make sure everything was working prior to our arrival. The handy man who helped with the shower issue was nice but seemed overwhelmed going to multiple rooms throughout the evening so obviously lots of things breaking all over the hotel. Applianc
Beautiful lodge with great amenities. Room was very clean and well furnished. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Restaurant on sight - great food and service. The experience was a 5 out 5!
Very well located just 2 miles from the south entrance of Yosemite, this is a beautiful property. Staff were very friendly and while some were exceptional (Deep at the front desk, our server Lupita at Jackalopes grill was fantastic) overall service levels were a bit disappointing and staff often just seemed a bit clueless. At a hotel this price I would expect rooms to be cleaned and beds to be made daily but this was not the case. Information given to us about basic details of the park was incorrect which
We stayed here because we couldn't get into Yosemite lodging. It's a long windy way down to Yosemite and it can get old and tiring going up and back each day. The staff are nice. Jackalope restaurant is expensive. Menu is small. The bed was very uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well. The towels are scratchy, not plush. The room was nice and large. It's nice they had beautiful fireplaces, free smores, pool.
Wonderful winter wonderland during spring break for those who want to visit Yosemite while enjoying the mountains and snow. We got a ton of snow and 3 clear days to visit the park. Great amenities and spa. Recently remodeled lobby looks great as well.
Location is good but eateries are limited. One hour to Yosemite valley and 1.5 hour to Glacier point. Very nice accommodation except with Keurig problem which housekeeping didn't attend to. Only one restaurant inside the resort and pizza place. There's deli store available too.
We had a wonderful time staying at Tenaya Lodge during our four night stay. We spent majority of our days in the park however we did really enjoy using the hot tubs for two hours at the end of each day. We also dined at Jackalopes 3 nights. While the food was nothing crazy, it was great having the option to have dinner on site and it was nice enough depending on what you ordered. Good wine selection, reallygreat tacos, dumplings and shrimp app. The burger was just okay. Thoughtful touches like the live mus
Great lodge if you're looking for a relaxed vibe in less than 2 miles away from the Yosemite south gates. Amazing food in restaurant, friendly stuff, and some onsite activities. Recommend!
Wow, what a great place right next to the national park. Plenty to eat and drink and great pools. Rooms are fab with comfy bed and tea and coffee machine
We checked in for a three night, $1,000+ stay. at check in we requested housekeeping, as that was an option. We did not receive housekeeping on day two and had to go to the front desk to get cups and coffee for the next day. The desk was also informed of the failure to provide housekeeping, The front desk person went to her computer and ensured we would have housekeeping on the following day. The next day, you guessed it, no housekeeping and once again a trip to the front desk to get towels for the net morn
Great experience! The property is beautiful and the service was top notch. We loved the kids activities and complimentary smores and snacks. The grab and go restaurant was very good. The grill restaurant was just okay.
I arrived at Tenaya on Thursday, checked-in, and got ready to start our activities like the Flashlight Hike, Winter Tour, Star Gazing, etc. On Thursday night, my son and I got hit with an unexpected and unwanted surprise. We had to cancel all of our activities and head back to town the next day. I just want to say that Carla at the Concierge Desk and Lauren at the Front Desk were SUPER kind and accommodating. You simply do not see this down-to-earth type of attitude from places where they're having to "de
It's Yosemite...meets luxury resort. You can't get any closer to the park without dealing with the nonsense that is the NPS-owned resorts (which Aramark has absolutely ruined). The lodge at tenaya is spectacular, and the cottages offer some added space and privacy in exchange for a quick walk. The amenities are truly unmatched, with bike rentals, climbing, archery, and more all being included in your stay.
Great option outside park Outstanding hotel near south entrance. We booked on shorter than (annual notice) and were glad we found Tenaya. Rooms updated and clean. Staff is wonderful esp Jayce on the rock climbing wall. Manager dropped us a sweet treat 2nd day which was generous! S?mores were a fun treat. Pool was heated. Easy place to relax and still enjoy the wilderness feel. Not great Hour drive to the valley is a little long for multi day stay We didn't enjoy the food - chicken wings had heavy layer of
Awesome location. Very good rooms. Giant tv. I would totally stay here again. Just a few things I would recommend for improvements... With security being so important these days, I was shocked to see so little security here. All doors leading into the hallways from the outside have no security and can be opened by anyone. Also, my room has a sliding glass door on the ground floor that the lock latch doesn't work so anyone can just come in the room. Next is the snack machines and soda machines were 100% emp
My bestie and I came here for my birthday weekend and everything was wonderful! We got massages and facials at the spa. Blake is an incredible masseur and Diane gives an amazing facial! I swear I looked 10 years younger
The hotel boasts a stunning lobby and offers spacious garden suites that live up to their description. However, the service left much to be desired. During our stay, our room was not cleaned, and only half of our breakfast order was delivered. Additionally, room service failed to remove dirty dishes or clean the sinks, which was disappointing. The early closure of the sauna (8?9 PM) was another letdown, especially for those hoping to relax in the evening after coming back late from a hike. At prices excee
Oh my goodness! You know the hospitality was impeccable if I'm taking time to write a review! I'm so not this person but I had to speak on the amazing service I received a this resort. As a first time visitor ,naturally, I had no idea all the resort had to offer , but with the help of the bartender Bree I was able to navigate my experience like a pro! Not only did she serve me the most delicious margarita I've ever had , she made sure to educate me on the amenities of the resort (ice skating, complementary
Tenaya Lodge is an exceptional place to stay, offering the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and luxury. Its location is unbeatable, providing easy access to Yosemite National Park while still feeling like a peaceful retreat. The amenities are outstanding, with everything from a gorgeous pool area to a relaxing spa, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploration. The dining options are fantastic, catering to a variety of tastes with delicious and thoughtfully prepared meals. It's also truly fam
This was an incredible experience. Food was great; the Jackalope restaurant was amazing. We ate dinner the first night with Jasper who did a great, especially when it came to recommending drinks. The next day we had lunch at the same restaurant. Kyle L. was our server this time and he made sure our food was just as great as last time. He was very attentive and on top of things when it came to service. They also have a great wine and it's definitely a great place to take your family.
Incredibly warm atmosphere, friendly staff, exceptional facilities in the heart of Yosemite. We enjoyed our stay so much, we cancelled our forwarding accommodation to extend our stay at Tenaya! Thank you for creating such a memorable experience for our family vacation.
Wonderful place for staycation and family time. Heated pool, arcade game room for kids, beautiful view were the highlights. Service was excellent and prompt. Especially we had an issue where door latched from inside preventing us to enter the room and they quickly resolved the problem. We were glad we didn't have to wait too long after a tiring day with our toddler.
We loved Tenaya Lodge! It was very close to the south Entrance to Yosemite and Mariposa grove. Lots of activities for kids and smores to cook every night!
We came to Tenaya this year for a conference that I was attending. Great handicapped accessible rooms and in room accommodations. It was great to get room service. We unfortunately did not get to try the spa but that area looked beautiful.
First, the good: we enjoyed the dining experiences. The dining service was great and the servers were attentive to our needs. The food was okay, it's hotel food, so it's not going to be great. It was really nice that the ice skating was included for guests this year, though the ice was not well maintained. The bad: we were there for four nights and our room was never cleaned. We requested a cleaning on day two and it was not cleaned. They did bring us towels that night. We requested a cleaning the next day
Adam the concierge was very helpful. Helped me get my children scheduled for the snow globe Workshop. He was kind throughout the conversation, offering different dates and availability when my original requested date and time was unavailable. Jasper oh my Jasper the waiter at the Jackalope bar and Grill, was amazing. He provided excellent customer service. The waiting staff, the ladies at the front desk, the room service. Everybody was amazing. The level of customer service at this place outweigh my expecta
Regardless of the season, we always have a great time here. My kids love the indoor heated pool, game room, and complimentary snacks. My husband and I love the luxurious surroundings and phenomenal service.
We enjoyed our trip out! It was our first time at the hotel. Yosemite holds a special place for us and this hotel did not disappoint. It was the perfect getaway!
Tenaya at Yosemite is not only a beautiful place to vacation, but it's also an amazing wedding venue. I photographed a wedding here in June of 2024 and it was such a great experience for everyone. The bride and groom, coordinators, venue staff, and other vendors put together a very special day. It's a great place to host a destination wedding and you and your guests are sure to enjoy your time here. For anyone planning a wedding near Yosemite NP, this is the spot. I highly recommend it.
Superb value for money ! Stay in the Cabin at Tenaya was fantastic. Kids enjoyed archery, mountain biking, pool, rock climbing (all free too). Highly recommended.
Amazing resort. This hotel has great facilities, service and food. Would highly recommend if you're visiting Yosemite National Park
Last night, my Tesla Cybertruck slid off to the side of the road, and I'm so grateful for Brian and another male colleague who helped with the rescue. I also deeply appreciate the complimentary room you provided. Please share my tips and gratitude with them?I'm so happy to have become friends with them. The hotel is excellent, and I'll definitely come back next time! From Jason
Pros- location near Yosemite, pools (the children evening movie in the pool is a great idea), lawns, smores by the fire, free laundry room. Cons- expensive for a room (specially without breakfast), parking is far from the room (when the near parking is full), water pressure in the shower is weak.
Bed bugs. Very disappointing and poorly handled by hotel. I stayed at Tenaya Yosemite for 2 nights and unfortunately discovered I was bitten by bed bugs all over my back, arms, and shoulders. The experience was extremely uncomfortable, and I now have to deal with the risk of bringing the infestation back home ? including thoroughly washing and isolating my belongings.
The fact that this is categorized as a 4-star resort is a complete sham. The property is beyond old and it shows throughout the entirety of the lodge. Pool is musty and discolored, carpets are at faded and stained, concrete cracking at the edges, outside stairs completely rusted through, game room filled with broken or falling apart items (e.g. air hockey table, Foosball table, skee-ball, etc). Parking is a nightmare when they have a conference booked and they failed to clean our rooms despite requesting
Great place to explore and enjoy a buitiful Yosemite. Took off one star because while we were staying there, the fire alarm went on on two occasions, which is very loud. We didn't receive a clear explanation of the reason.
I have stayed in the lodge previously and knew they had cottages across the parking lot from the main lodge. When booking my most recent trip I noticed they have cabins available now, which with two small kids, is perfect. I also saw their winter cabins advertised as being decorated for Christmas and come with a gift basket with hot cocoa, snow globe, etc; also perfect for two small kids. Upon arriving and not able to find the club house, we discover the cabins are not actually with the lodge, but another 1
Beautiful facility and great location when visiting Yosemite National Park. Plenty of options for room, dining, and various activities. Tours and local bus (YARTS) connect with Tenaya Lodge, too.
The best hotel! I raved about it to all of my friends and family. We went for my birthday last week and had a beautiful experience. We have a 3 & 4 year old, so we loved the ice skating and the indoor Christmas movies in the indoor pool area. We searched for elves on the property, also enjoyed the free s'mores & hot chocolate in the lobby. We can't wait to come back!
COURTNEY and all the front desk staff were great! We needed Tylenol so they went and opened the gift shop (that was already closed) so we can purchase some. Excellent location, very peaceful and quiet the night we were there. Definitely recommend. ??
Don't come here if you're looking for peace and quiet. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. BUT the walls are soooo thin! Even from the third floor you can hear people outside very clearly. And on the night they had several Christmas parties and a wedding it was extremely loud. The people were laughing and screaming in the lobby but it sounds like they're right outside of your room because the walls and layout of the hotel cause sound to carry very loudly. We
We stayed at the cabins which were great but a little bit older. I didn't mind it being old just the spiders that keep me up because of my kids. Room service was amazing dining at the jackalope bar and grill was amazing with Jasper. He was the best waiter you could have. He had us laughing and the food was out fast. His recommendation was spot on. The staff at the ice skating ?? was fun and easygoing. Snow globe making was fun and the staff was also amazing and helpful. S?more and wine was good and the sta
My husband booked us a trip to Yosemite for the New Year and we were so excited to stay at this hotel, but from the moment we arrived we had some really strange experiences. As we pull up to the hotel lobby curbside, I'm pleased to see all the staff helping people unload the cars to help make check in easier. As we pull in, not a single person offers to assist us. Weird, given they were literally jumping to help the other customers just moments before we pulled up. Moments pass by and we start getting our l
It was our first time there, definitely we can't wait to go back. Spacious rooms, clean and very accommodating. Plenty of activities and entertainment!!! Very well recommended!!!
Clean rooms and beautiful grounds. Perfect location for visiting Yosemite. This resort would be great for active families.
The hotel is in great location to access Yosemite; approximately 3 miles from the South Entrance. The hotel itself is beautiful built in 1990. It's a bit rundown and feels that it was not renovated since. There?re amenities such as swimming pool, game room, skate ring on hotel property. We ended up eating at the hotel for breakfast and dinner. Food was decent albeit a bit pricey.
10/10. In cabin 5 facing the river. Absolutely perfect. Service, amenities, food. Doesn't get much better. Only down side was we waited for a ride from cabin to restaurant for dinner but they never showed lol
Dog friendly, cozy mountain lodge just a few miles from the south gate entrance at Yosemite. Lots of amenities, clean and quiet rooms, fire pits, s'mores, and more!
A Great Stay at Tenaya Lodge We stayed in one of the cottages at Tenaya Lodge, and it was cozy and comfortable. Their in-house restaurant was also very good. The service was excellent?quick and one of the best we've experienced. It is a bit pricey, but that's expected for places near Yosemite. The lodge is located just outside Yosemite, which makes it easy to reach. However, if you're only staying for 1?2 days, I'd recommend finding a place inside the park to save travel time. Also, they dnt clean the ro
We stayed at Tenaya for 2 nights (2 adults and 1 dog) overall, we had a good time at the hotel and how dog friendly they are. They provided dog bowl, bed and a toy for our dog and the hotel and restaurant staff were kind and attentive. Its pretty convenient location if youre heading for the Yosemite National Park - about 10 min away FROM THE GATE OF THE PARK and a good accommodation too. Thank you ?? we hope to be back with our family again!
Highly recommend for the facilities, pool, and activities for kids. The free activities like gold panning, archery, and rock climbing were so cool and the staff was great!
