I contracted with them for the 2023 and 2024 tax years. I never received any communication unless I contacted them via email. They always responded quickly, but never answered my questions. It is now March of 2025 and I've not received a decision for my 2024 taxes. They always claim they are waiting on the county to finalize my protest. After 2 years of them handling my protest with no reduction in taxes, I am canceling my contract with them.

Terrible experience. I signed up in April 2021 and later received an invoice dated August 15, 2021, showing inflated savings that didn?t match the actual tax statement I received in October. This is our second yr using Texas Tax Protest. They've been great! Sometimes it seems they forgot about us, but I can assure you they are working in the background! We didn't even contact them this second yr, just paid it and they sent us our results, seemingly out of nowhere. This is how I prefer it. I don't want to get multiple emails from a company. Just do your job and show me the finished product. Very very happy with the service. Will continue to use them.

Talk about set it and forget it. TTP works every year to get the best property tax savings for both of my properties. They don't make money unless they save me money and I pay nothing if they can't improve my tax liability. If you want to cancel Service it's a bit of a process, but I don't have time to do what they do, so I'm pleased to let them do their job with no stress or hassle for me.

Paid the fee for tax evaluation, but didn't receive any benefit. Apparently when signing up, users agree to continue services unless they cancel. I was invoiced another fee this year, and again had no value/benefit - as my taxes didn't change just like last year. I asked for assistance since I wasn't provided any value, but still had to pay the fee. If you sign up and don't see any results, make sure to cancel right away before you're charged again for the next year.

Did not get results back for 2023 until August after sending multiple emails. I was provided with a statement but no proof that a protest was filed with DCAD. I worked with a wonderful rep from Dallas Central Appraisal District today to go through the process to have Texas Tax Protest revoked as my agent. He explained that otherwise, they stay on my account indefinitely which would prevent me from filing a protest on my own electronically.
