Working with the Warnick Group is a breath of fresh air-just a great experience all around. As a Small General tool rental company, we truly appreciate their professionalism and support. I would highly recommend them without hesitation
I was introduced to The Warnick Group about 5 years ago, when I needed CPA services during the sale of my business. I really appreciated the work they put in to getting me through that transition, as well as setting me up with new tax saving strategies. Rebecca and her staff are extremely personable and professional. Best of all, they are on-their-game! For the last 5 years, they have handled my bookkeeping needs, as well as all tax filings. I enjoy getting my quarterly video breakdowns of my tax filings,
Meeting Rebecca Warnick in 2012 has been a blessing to me and my small business. After retaining the same CPA for nearly 20 years and having numerous stressful tax situations arise that weren't resolved....... I knew I had to find a different and competent CPA and I also knew after the first meeting with she was going to be my new CPA! I certainly made the right choice! Here we are in 2024 and she and her INCREDIBLE team and I are still together. Believe it if you may.......I really enjoy doing my taxes
I have been trusting The Warnick Group with all of my bookkeeping & tax services for many years. From personal tax filings to helping me start up and incubate several businesses, TWG has become an irreplaceable part of my operations. I have tremendous faith and confidence in the TWG team and will continue to work with them for many years to come. Big thanks for everything you have done for me over the years!
Rebecca and her team are wonderful to work with. They make it easy to upload documents and send reminders. Rebecca's knowledge of the tax laws and regulations have been very helpful in making financial decisions. I highly recommend The Warnick Group.
Rebecca Warnick, (CPA) is currently our tax accountant. She was highly recommended to us by a number of her clients. She has worked diligently to design a tax plan covering both our personnel and corporate taxes. In a single year she saved us over $10, 000. We would strongly recommend her to anyone desiring a very trustworthy accountant for an honest objective evaluation of their tax liability. Fred and Leah Williams
We highly recommend Rebecca Warnick to anyone who is looking for a professional CPA who genuinely cares about her clients. We could not be happier with the level of service and commitment she provides to us. She even took the time to review our previous years tax returns and was able to get us a refund! We look forward to working with Rebecca for many years to come.
The Warnick Group has been a dream come true for me. My business is complex and I have employees in multiple states. The Warnick group handles all of my multi-state taxes, my payroll and serves as a financial advisor. They are friendly, professional, prompt and very valuable to me.
I was fortunate to meet Rebecca Warnick at a group my sister belongs to of women our age. (baby boomers) She gave one of the most informative talks on taxes and the new tax laws. I had been doing my own tax returns with the normal software program and for the past 4 years it became more difficult and my returns kept shrinking and even two years ago the IRS came to me for more money. That all changed this year when I had Rebecca do my 2013 tax return. Not only did I get a return but she found flaws in 2 pas
The Warnick Group has been an excellent recommendation for us. They have been with us since we started our business and have been patient with us as we have grown over the years. I'm glad we were referred over. Would recommend without hesitation!
Rebecca Warnick has been my accountant for 10 years. She has always been very professional and has given me sound accounting advise. When I had a problem with the IRS, she contacted them and helped me resolve the issue. She is very honest and thorough. I would recommend her to my friends.
Rebecca has handled my personal and business returns for years. She has always been able to sort through my personal, LLC, partnership, and S corp accounts to generate accurate returns as quickly as I can provide the information. I have learned to have the utmost faith and confidence in Rebecca's skills and advice. I enjoy the confidence and trust that she has earned.
Becky has been our business and personal tax accountant for well over 5 years now. We also refer our clients to Becky. Becky is a professional and is well versed in taxes. She keeps up on the ever changing tax laws. Becky can help resolve any issues you might have with IRS past or present. She will help you with your tax planing for the years to come. Becky has always been there for us. She is no more than a phone call away. Thanks Becky for all you do.
As a small business owner, I highly recommend The Warnick Group. Rebecca and her team have always provided exceptional service, and are very responsive to my questions, concerns, etc. Regardless of the size of your business, they will treat you like their #1 priority.
Rebecca was referred to me to assist with some tax questions and how the IRS viewed a situation involving my business and the tax advice I was given by my previous enrolled tax agent. Rebecca took the time to research and educate me with my questions and found the answers that would be satisfactory to the IRS. I'm appreciative of her time and knowledge she invested and am looking forward to working with her in the new year.
All I can say is WOW! Rebecca and her team are amazing. I mean absolutely amazing! I was in the unfortunate situation of needing my hand held to walk me through what I needed to do as a new business owner. Man did she deliver!! I'm glad I found the Warnick Group as it's been a tough road finding someone that's not only knowledgable and friendly, but available when I need! Thank you!!
She never discloses her hourly fees or gives an estimate on the time involved in preparing tax returns. As soon as she finds out your financial wealth, the more she charges even though the tax preparation is simple. If you are wealthy, she will invite you to her house for special occasions. Why? She attaches all sorts of worksheets she supposedly uses to calculate your tax return; however, if you look at those worksheets, they amount to nothing. The more worksheets she includes, the more she bills. Sh
Rebecca has been doing the taxes for our LLC for the past 5 years and every time they are done quick, efficient and professional. I would recommend her to anyone.
Thank you for everything, glad we did this early this year! Thank you again for all your help! Tony
I have a complicated tax return and Rebecca did a great job.
Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
