I can?t say enough good things about Todd and his firm. They are incredibly responsive to emails and phone calls, always making me feel supported and prioritized. The twice-a-year planning meetings have been invaluable in helping me make smart, proactive decisions for my business and personal taxes. Their advice is clear, practical, and tailored to my specific needs. I?m grateful to have such a dependable and knowledgeable team in my corner.
We've been working with Todd Greene for about 2 years now and we've had nothing but great experience working with him and his team. They are very efficient and are a big help to our internal accounting team to help prepare us for the tax season. We would definitely recommend them!
Todd and his staff are the best! Our business went from a hobby to a fully fledged operation in a very short period of time and Todd's advice has made it much less stressful. He makes sure to understand your situation to give the best advice for you personally as well as your business. He's very hands on and always available to answer questions. Glad we found Todd and his team!
I have been working with Todd Greene, CPA for a couple years now and if I could give a sixth star I would. He and his team have been attentive, intentional, resourceful, and efficient. I have been very happy and impressed with his services, and have referred and will continue to refer everyone I know to his company!
Had an appointment to have my taxes done as a new LLC and at the last minute the secretary calls and tells us our appointment has been cancelled that he was book and we had the appointment for months very unprofessional. Well Todd I did meet with you for advice on starting my company and keeping the records and we did make an appointment for the end of the year to have my taxes done. I have the emails showing with the last minute in March where you canceled because you said you were over booked there was no
What I loved was the promptness when returning calls, emails, whatever. They did a great job on my taxes with minimal effort on my part. I have had many places do my taxes this was the best and least painful if you know what I mean. I will continue to utilize their expertise. Thanks for a great job, well done
Wonderful team of professionals. Smart, thorough and very kind and accommodating. Helped with my super complicated tax issues and walked me through it. Very happy with the experience . We'll keep them forever!
They handle my taxes every year and do a great job, but this year I desperately needed them done early AND had trouble accessing the files she sent. Becky Bohannon found someone to help with my computer problems and had my taxes ready even before I had asked her to have them. I can't recommend her, or Brader Greene, enough!
Todd and his team have been a great resource for me individually and as a small business owner. Always helpful and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.
Brader Green handles our accounting, HR, and payroll. But more than that, they have given us great advice on how to move our business forward. We expanded quickly and they helped guide us through some potentially disastrous pitfalls. I would highly recommend them.
Really slow service, waited weeks to finish a couple of simple forms. Terrible tax knowledge, I have to tell them how to handle a couple of tax tips regarding foreign alien and out of state tax rules. And they are not cheap! I should've just spend a couple of hours to learn how to file NC tax return and do it myself!
I have been Working with Todd and his team for over 20 years - there isn't a better small business CPA in Charlotte! I highly recommend him and his team!
Very thorough with doing my taxes. They are very responsive with answering any questions Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Their work is great quality work.

After the initial shock of potential tax burdens were mitigated...we were so happy Todd set us on the right path with our business and home strategies.
Excellent service, very responsive to my questions and needs and took the time needed to make sure I understood everything. Highly recommend Brader Greene, PLLC.
All the people very extremely helpful. They answered all my questions and took extra care to make the process easy for me.
Can't say enough good things about these people. Knowledgeable, professional and always ready to help.

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
