I went to Tom for help with an issue with my Toledo local taxes, as well as a question about a settlement check I had received. I am very pleased with the help I received and would definitely come back to him for any further CPA needs. Compared to what I was going to pay filing by myself, Tom ended up covering his fee and saving me about an extra $100. We had a quick meeting (15 minutes) to go over the basics of my taxes, I gave him my paperwork, and then I just had to pick up my taxes once they were done.

I started a small business during covid and decided to hire a tax person to help me because I knew it may be more complicated than my turbo tax days. However my entire experience was terrible. He legit forgot to file my taxes. Is that not the entire reason someone hires you?? It was a nightmare, he never took ownership of the mistake or offered a refund. I am so bothered to this day. Fast and friendly service, very responsive and patient with my many questions

If I could give 6 stars, I would! My wife and I attempted to do our personal taxes on one of those "do it yourself" tax sites. After completing the forms, it claimed that we owed over 20,000. I knew this wasn't right, so I asked Toledo CPA's for help. After Tom reviewed my documents, it turned out that the IRS owed me nearly the same amount. That's nearly a 40,000 turnaround. Don't trust your taxes to anyone but the professionals at Toledo CPA's!
