I had a fantastic experience working with Mindy Tondreault on my business and personal taxes this year. I appreciate how Mindy took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand. She was thorough and professional in every interaction. Thanks Mindy!
I can't say enough good things about this firm! Mindy was referred to me by our Chicago financial advisor to help us with taxes and accounting processes. She took all the pressure off me for tax season and now my father and my brother are exploiting her knowledge and helpfulness. So relieved to have found T&G!
I've been working with Mindy for my business and personal taxes for almost 20 years now. Always very thorough. Always very detailed and timely. Can't ask for a better accountant
This is my third year using Tondreault & Graziano CPAs. The helped me get my business LLC started and with all tax questions. They are not just there for you at tax season but all year. I highly recommend them for any business owner.
Working with Jason Graziano was a huge disappointment. First he acted as if our taxes were a huge burden for him. This should?ve been our red flag to leave, but the good reviews had us give him the benefit of the doubt. He made my husband do a lot of leg work prior to accepting our business although we were willing to pay him for the hours he worked. He didn?t answer any of our questions or offer any strategies to lower our tax burden. We went with a different accountant who was much more helpful and saved
Mindy has always been the most amazing accountant! I have been going to her for about 10 years now and I could not recommend her more. I have gone from a cashier at a grocery store to an attorney in my time with Mindy and she always knows how to handle my finances! She is quick to answer any questions and always works very hard to get me the best return. 10/10 recommend!
Mindy is a fantastic CPA. She helped my family navigate the complexities of an estate tax filing, and laid out effective strategies for easing our tax burden. Her responsiveness, accuracy, and the speed at which she files are all outstanding. If you are looking for a CPA you will find one for life with Mindy no matter your situation.
Mindy is not only professional but she is personal. She has been my accountant for both my business and personal taxes for several years and is quick to answer any questions I have. She is the best.. I have referred her several times anytime someone asks for an accountant.. and I will continue to do so!
Mindy is extremely knowledgeable and remains current and proficient when it comes to the ever changing IRS tax laws. She performs with integrity and her client needs are always of utmost importance to her. Mindy has been our accountant for many years and will remain so for many more.
My wife and I own a few optometry practices here in pinellas county. We were with the same CPA for years not knowing how a CPA charges for services. We just assumed everything was on the up and up. Upon speaking to numerous business owners and explaining that we were being charged for phone calls, simple answered questions, it was unanimous that we needed change. Jason has had been a long time patient of our predecessor and became a friend and patient of ours. After a simple and quick meeting we knew we ha
I'm very happy and lucky to found this place !! I've never been more comfortable nd happier doing my taxes before .. Mindy and Jason are just the best , very very sweet and tremendously professional. We didn't even had to stay 3 hours there and get charged a crazy amount for this !! It was a 5 min meeting took all our paperwork and did everything through emails !! They truly amazing , their office is very clean and they're very welcoming!! I will never go anywhere else for taxes and accounting!! It's like w
Our previous accountant was AWEFUL! In the 40 + years we have been filing taxes, we have never had an issue. We always make sure that when we get all our tax information in February, we pass it along to our accountant so that we can get the process started. WE ARE NOT PROCRASTONATORS! Well in that particular year, our ?old? accountant did not get our taxes done and needed to file an extension which we have NEVER done. Once she did get them done and filed, we got a notice from the IRS that there were some e
I have worked with Mindy for years and she is absolutely great! She communicates very well, is patient, and knows exactly what she is doing! She does my personal, business, and real estate taxes and makes tax time a breeze!
Jason & Mindy are the best tax accountants! Very patient, and thoroughly answer my tax, payroll and bookkeeping questions in PLAIN language. We do everything remotely and it works great. Highly recommended!
Jason takes care of my personal and small business taxes. As a new business owner, I don?t have time to learn accounting too. Jason notifies me of what is due and when, so I don?t have to worry about any of that. I?ve had some rookie questions and Jason is great at answering them in layman?s terms. He is knowledgeable and responsive, and I trust him to take care of this part of my business.
I have known Mindy for many years. She is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Mindy and her family have long roots in St. Petersburg. It is wonderful to support local!
I can not express how grateful I am to Mindy and Jason. I had a complex situation that was time sensitive. They completed it and truly could not have been more patient with me. Thank you both so very much.
Very detailed and professional. I worked with Mindy and I highly recommend her, she went above and beyond to recommend me and she answered all my questions in a timely manner.
Can't say enough about Mindy. She gave me great advice even though she didn't benefit financially. I would highly suggest her.
An Awesome firm, very attentive to detail. Very helpful with helping get my small businesses started. Would highly recommend. Mindy goes above and beyond!
Very unprofessional firm that does things last minute. They also are not cheap by any means and are untrustworthy. They play favorites and will ignore you if you aren't a high paying client.
Highly recommend Mindy very professional and reasonably priced.
Best tax prep and accounting serices I've ever had helping me after 23 yrs of being self employed!
I've worked with the team at Tondreault Tax & Accounting, P.A. for a long time, and they have never disappointed.
Dedicated to professional and personal service. Highly recommend
Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
