Villegas, villegas, villegas. Say the name and never forget it again. This is the most friendly staff to handle a sensitive case like probate. Fully commited to craft of lawering. This office is top notch. The follow up and follow through. Thank you.
We were leaving town and wanted to have our wills and power of attorneys down before leaving. Mr. Villegas and his staff were amazing and prepared them in less than a week. Very professional, courteous and accommodating. I highly recommend Villegas Law Firm.
I am very unhappy with the service I received from Mr Vallegas. I called Mr. Villegas during the pandemic and they weren't doing any office visits during the time . Which I understand. He said he could help me with my tax problem. First he would have to order 10 years of my tax transcripts before he could do anything. That would be around $700. I paid half upfront and they would contact me in a few weeks after they received them. Never heard back. When I call their office the number is disconnect
Fast working and well informed, will be recommending to friends and family.
Very unprofessional. I had called and spoke with velia, she was very rude over the phone she had put me on hold and then hung up. Just realize that a couple of people commented the same thing word for word.. seems kinda shady.
Don't waste your time or money here. very unprofessional and just flat out rude. Velia has a nasty attitude that shouldn't be tolerated by the company.
lol don?t trust this guy . Full of lies he charge 1800 $ just for research lolll Ms genius after you told him everything about tax he will charge 1800$ onky for research hahahahhahahha funny and will take 3 or more month then he will see how much he will charge when he finishes his research. Imagine 1800$ only for research how much will be charging over 5000$ I guess just deal your self with IRS lol ??
A family member of one of Villegas employees recommended us . My sister had to pay $100 just to speak to Villegas. When we talked to him we could clearly tell that he was driving . To me this means he could not be taking notes and we didnt have his 100% attention . We waited for his office to call us back to tell us if we had a case is what he made it sound like. It was about 3 weeks later and we had to call them . They told us he needed $1, 200 to tell us if we had a case or not . Villegas is all about t
Jorge is very friendly and fast reduces any anxiety involving tax and audits. A very professional attorney who is clear about how to proceed in analyzing the problems and is upfront about the retainer and fees. His Paralegal team members ... Elizabeth for one ... equally pleasant and friendly and professional. I would never ask anyone but Mr Villegas to represent my interests who saved me into the 6 digits in the last 2 years ???????????
We came in to form our business LLC and was provided exceptional service. Mr. Villegas and his staff were very helpful in answering all of our questions and made the process very easy. Thank you
I sure can't tell you anything about Villegas considering when I call the phone is always hanging up can't even get thru to him so obviously it's already a bad sign! Thanks!
Had irs situation and lost $2500 from them and lost $1200 fee. To no avail. Giving good promises. Very unethical. Don?t you lose your earned money and research for better honest and professional. Didn?t care that I was disabled military.
Villegas was charging me just to bring my name up in his " monthly" meetings. He billed friviously. He didn't submit evidence in a timely fashion with the irs. When he did submit evidence it was not even filled out. He wanted to exhaust my appeals and charge me 10k for an offer and compromise with irs. I fired him. Hired another attorney. The irs felt so bad for me, they allowed me to continue to support my claim of innocent spousal relief. The irs released me from 1.3 million. The irs agent reported to me
If we could give this law firm 0 stars or less we would. They are by far the worse of the worse. All they want is your money and when they get it they constantly give you the run around about your case, in other words they don?t care about helping you. CLAUDIA ANS ANNA are by far so unethical when it comes to communicating with their clients, they lie about fees being charged and why they are being Charged, they los about returning calls and providing information that well needed for employment purposes Ect
Great Firm and very good staff
Planning is already difficult but when you have such an amazing attorney that sits and explains the process in detail it?s all worth it. Entire staff was so helpful and friendly.
Mr. Villegas is an extremely knowledgeable business attorney. He works quickly & efficiently. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
