To those considering Mr. Wayne to file your taxes: beware. He was quite responsive while securing our business but is now unreachable after misfiling our taxes. Mr. Wayne submitted the wrong documents for state tax and submitted inaccurate information to the Oregon DOR which prevented my family from receiving our state tax return. I had my taxes done here for my 2017 return. After leaving their office, they changed my signed return without my permission. When I tried to e-file my 2018 return it was kicked back to me because the change they made on my previous year return was in error. I contacted Wayne Rivers and he agreed to file an amendment for me. According to letters I?ve gotten from the IRS since, the correct forms were missing from the amendment and now I have to pay someone else (because I?m definitely not going back to Wayne

This review makes me sad because I really like Mr. Rivers and his staff. Very nice people. Sadly, though, the quality of the service was very lacking. Met prior to developing a relationship to ensure fit and thought we were on the same page. I don't have a complex situation but more moving parts than most. In the end, I spent $400 on something i usually did myself and he missed a huge expense (found by another CPA I hired) which resulted in me paying $4,000 more and we had to file an amended return. I

Surprised every yr how much the price to have my taxes done. They don't tell you until you go to the office to pick up your papers then the tell you it's more than you were told. For a simple tax form it's way too expensive.
