We were excited to work with Wrobel after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience with them was anything but positive. First, despite pointing out and reminding them about an out-of-state return from a pension for my in-laws, they failed to file it. Luckily, we caught that mistake. Additionally, it took them three attempts to get both birth dates correct on the form. Furthermore, they added deductions to our business return that we never provided, and when we asked for clarificatio
I highly recommend Wrobel accounting for their exceptional accounting services. I have been a client for well over a decade. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and thorough knowledge of tax laws have been invaluable to me. My accounting can be somewhat complex due to my self employment, and they have always handled my accounting with top notch care. I have also recommended their office to countless clients of mine in the mortgage industry, all of who have called later to thank me for the refer
Wrobel Accounting is by far the best CPA I have ever worked with. My experience with their team has been nothing but wonderful every single time over these last seven years. I'd recommend them to anyone who is looking for knowledgeable staff, friendly support, and outstanding tax services.
I have used Wrobel Accounting for income tax preparation for the past 8 years. Their staff is extremelyprofessional, knowledgeable and friendly. In my experience, my tax questions have been answered in a timely manner, to my satisfaction and in language that makes sense to me. Kevin and his team have always gone above and beyond to make sure I understand my tax situation and to offer me constructive financial advice. I recommend Wrobel Accounting to people looking for a friendly, approachable CPA for their
We have used Wrobel Accounting for a few years and have been very pleased with the efficiency and timely manner in which they do our returns. We stopped one year when we thought we could handle our simple return, but after we discovered this was not our expertise, and to keep the peace in our house, they took us back as clients. Our thanks to Kevin and Michelle for always a job well done.
I highly recommend Wrobel Accounting for your CPA needs. Their dedication to clients sets them apart from companies I worked with in the past. They are always timely in responding to questions; they provide valuable insights, ensuring I am making the best financial decisions possible. I have peace of mind from knowing they are handling my tax return needs. I highly recommend Wrobel accounting to anyone seeking a reliable and skilled CPA!
It's been a pleasure to meet Kevin and have him help me for the past 5 years. He and his staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They always answer when I call or email. If there's any delay, then they will always reach out to let you know. To me, that is essential. Communication is the biggest thing for me. They go above and beyond to make sure their clients feel valued and taken care of as well. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed!
A couple of years ago I sold my software company, which naturally created a pretty complex tax situation. Kevin was able to handle everything promptly and efficiently and in fact saved us quite a lot compared to what we expected to owe. He also provided some very valuable advice regarding how to structure any future business. I would highly recommend.
Wow! These guys bailed me out of a huge jam back in 2016. I had different CPA working on a tax issue who became unresponsive. I reached out to Wrobel as a last resort. They got to work immediately and got me to the finish line! I?ve been with them ever since. I recommend this group to everyone. If you need timely and accurate returns with a personal touch, look no further!
I use to think that having the biggest CPA firm in town was most important for my business and quickly realized how quickly I became another invoice number to that BIG firm. Wrobel Accounting has offered us so much more than that. They are truly invested in OUR business and have been able to provide us with that extra personal touch that gives business owners like us the support we truly need. Thanks Wrobel.
Wrobel Accounting has been handling my taxes since 2015. They do an awesome job and are always available when I have questions. I always feel confident in their service. I would highly recommend them.
Wrobel accounting cares about and appreciates every one of their clients large or small!!! I have used them for years for my small business and personal accounting needs... always felt appreciated and welcomed. They are quick to respond to questions or any issues. Always found them to be honest and fair.
I have been a client of WROBEL for over 5 years, entrusting them with both my personal and corporate taxes for my four companies. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness are exceptional. I highly recommend their services!
Have been working with Kevin and Michelle for the past 4 years, and it's been worth it every year. They are incredibly efficient in their work. Their customer service is top notch. Totally worth every penny - spent and saved ;-)
I have been with this company for 25 year. This year has been the worst service I have had. My taxes were filed over a month ago and they can't seem to send them threw the IRS for some reason. I have called 3 times and I get the same answer, they will be filed this week. I have paid my money to have them done like you guys asked for so now finish doing your side of the job. You had lost a loyal customer of 25 years congratulations. HORRIBLE
Kevin and his team have been my tax accountants for many years, beginning when he became partners with Ken Arena and eventually taking over the business when Ken retired. Always professional, courteous, available to answer any questions, I can say with confidence that I highly recommend Wrobel Accounting.
Wrobel accounting firm has always done a great job working my taxes. I appreciate their diligence and dedication to their business.
The team was responsive and followed up quickly when I had questions. Kevin was very thorough in what he needed. I know I have some tricky parts, and they did it all. I definitely recommend the entire team to people looking for either business or personal accountants.
The owner doesn?t respond promptly and lots of time doesn?t respond at all. his staff or himself, whoever did our paperwork (no clues who do what) makes lots of mistake on our returns. Also keep missing deadlines and very disorganized. When Frank took over it was better but he is often too busy to respond promptly too, although he did try and were nicer and sweeter to work with. Recently an office manager, Michelle Wrobel, set up lots of new unfair and illogical rules, which are cumbersome and disadvantage
Zach has been an amazing partner of mine and has been so incredibly helpful with my taxes. He helps me with planning to ensure I don?t have any surprises the following year at tax time. I recommend him to anyone and everyone I know. He has integrity and truly cares about helping his clients.
This was my first year using Wrobel accounting and it went great. Office was responsive and answered all my questions. Paying taxes sucks, but these people made it a little less sucky ??
Always responsive, easy to work with. I've been a client for over 10 years and highly recommend Wrobel Accounting.
We utilize Zach Kamish for our business and personal taxes. He has done an amazing job of saving us money and time! Very efficient and timely, we love his service and believe you will too!
This will be the 3rd tax year Zach Kamish has handled - for our personal taxes and our business taxes "The McColeman Team" If you are looking for a pro-active accountant, who stays on top of deadlines and structures your business plan correctly - this is your GO TO Accountant. In addition to helping us, he has also helped several of our self-employed clients prepare for home ownership. Simply the BEST!
We?ve been using Wrobel accounting for several years for our personal & business needs. They are extremely professional. Locally owned and operated and very helpful with any questions and needs. Highly recommend!
Frank Millett is a star on the Wrobel team. He knows all about accounting and the tax code and gets great reviews from people referred to him.
Every year is always a great experience! That's why I always go back! Willing to answer questions and always wonderful to deal with.
Their closing down or ? changing direction? soon guys thought I?d give viewers a heads up before reaching out because I just found out a couple hours ago
Kevin has helped me a lot with my taxes over the year, and the office staff treats you like family. Good people, I can?t recommend them enough.
Great service from Kevin and all of his staff. Truly best accounting firm I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
Truly the best place to have your taxes filed. They are helpful, kind, efficient, and most of all... the very best at what they do!

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
