OMG these guys are great 10 out of 5 stars. The way there able ti dig out saving for you the tax-payer. The price is TOTALLY awesome, for our family they charge a lil under 200 we were with HR Block the year before over 700+ to do the pretty much the same taxes, and they did a horrible job compared to XTAX. Been going here for years without any issues - things are so seamless. They keep a history of all the work, they work quick, the response fast even on weekend sometimes, and incredibly knowledgeable to ensure your tax needs are met. It's nice not being frustrated trying to work with self-service programs that are often buggy and confusing. My only complaint is that in the time I've used X-Tax, they've continually raised their prices. I recently posted a one star review for Xtax due to the tax preparer putting the wrong account number on my return. Upon further investigation it was discovered that I was the one that put the wrong account number on my client form. I don?t know how that happened but Xtax reacted very quickly and was able to get me a check for my federal tax return within 3 days of me catching the mistake. Not only that, but they treated me very professionally even though the complaint was my fault. I will continue to use X

The guy that was going to do my taxes didn't know what he was doing! He said I was barely going to get anything back from my federal and my state, and tried to charge me $150! I could have gotten my taxes done for free on an app, and gotten more back on my return! They charged my son over $200 to get his taxes done! This place is a farce!

Years ago, I caught one of their senior tax preparers forgetting to add a dependent. Thankfully, I had done my taxes prior to going and just used Xtax to confirm. Then I had a weirdly large bill due to federal taxes. I knew something was wrong with it but don?t know enough about taxes to figure it out myself. I promise you, you will not get the advance your used to getting. They changed the bank they use. Will only get a couple 100. They are making you over pay with all the fees. To get money back early but not giving anything . I paid 185 and still won't get my money till late Feb. Better off doing a free one and saving money. I was a loyal customer for 4 years. X-Tax- have helped me with my filing and they are such wonderful people. They are easy to talk to. They call me when they need to. I always find someone always when I also call their office. They quick and are very kibd. I do not dread when I want to go to them for services. I am glad to have them for help. I hope they keep it up.

I'm always pleased with the service X-Tax provides, but this year I am particularly relieved I continue to seek their tax services. This year, Andy discovered that I could in fact claim the interest I pay on my student loans. The previous person who prepared my taxes (before I went to X-Tax) told me that I could not because of my income level. Although getting my taxes done was pretty fast, and the guy who did them was very nice, I have to say the website is pretty misleading. On your website it says guaranteed refund advance within 29 minutes, but I learned the advance is not guaranteed its something you have to apply for and be approved for, which i did, however its been a few hours and I have yet to hear anything on the decision... Whats with the 29 minutes?

Normally I would give a good review, I went in today, SAME time I do every single year. This time they had a new girl prepare my taxes. What should have been super easy took over an HOUR. By the time I got done I was not eligible for the rapod refund because the bank was closed. I am so mad...if I ever go there again I will ask for someone experienced. This was my first year filling taxes as I just turned 18 and got my first job. They were 100% unprofessional. I felt completely helpless. My taxes were some how not filled correctly by them and now I am struggling to try and figure this out. Whoever called me to file it was very strange. And they have very restrictive hours. I work 9-5 Monday thru Friday and can never get ahold of them because they are only open these same hours but Monday thru Thursday. I have left countless messages and get no call back.

I have had my taxes prepared by X-Tax for the past 7 yrs., however, I have no idea what is happening with the W. Saginaw location. I had an appointment scheduled this past Tuesday @ 5 pm, and then again today (Friday) @ 5 pm. No phone call whatsoever, but I received a reminder email and text message for both appointments. I'll give them a 2 star because everyone was nice and professional! However the advance loan is a JOKE, I paid 82.00 for an advance loan that i was denied. At no point did my tax specialist tell me there was a chance i could be denied this advance loan. Well i called X tax maybe 30mins after leaving and they told.me i would still be charged that 82.00 even though i was not getting my advance loan and there was nothing they could do. ??

I've been going to this place for about 5 or 6 years, they are fast, and friendly never any problems. I also get approved for the advance usually within a day, they call you and let you know when to pick up your check. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I filed taxes Feb 5th. Never have they contacted me to see what happened to my returns. I called August 28 and was told they would call me back in ten minutes. That never happened and it is September 3rd. My wife and I have been using their service since 2014 and after the way we have been treated when calling multiple time, will never use them or refer them ( which they offer $50 for you for reference and we never got). This is ridiculous and the way I was talked to when calling the branch on the west side

I've never owed in taxes before and somehow, after they did mine, I owe the state around $400 and got back only $100 from federal (Which I paid to get the taxes done). I paid $10k in taxes for that year and only received $100 back. Keeping in mind that nothing has changed in the last 3 years.. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Xtax has been doing our taxes for many years. We have moved from Michigan to Maryland to Philadelphia to Texas and back to Maryland over the last 6 years and they are still our tax people. That speaks volumes as to how much we trust their services.

Second year in a row x tax has done my taxes and the IRS sends me a letter asking for information that the preparer forgot it or didn't do.. I then have to drive back take the form and fix issue . Now I've been waiting 5 days before they'll get to it. Why are you continuing to do people's taxes when the ones who you already did aren't correct. I won't be back next year for sure
