I needed an Estate Planninh Attorney due to the death of my husband. I wanted our Living Trust reviewed so that I could make some changes. Mr. Yeager made me feel so much at ease regarding the update and changes. He was able to record my house into the new Living Trust and make the necessary changes with LA County. Thank You Mr. Yager for your understanding, guidance, and professionalism. You explained everything and took my worries away.
My family came to this law office for a power of attorney, health directive, and change of name on a home. Michael Yeager is a very through attorney. He was very well organized and completed the work in a timely manner. He's very well informed and he listens to his clients? needs. I have a great deal of respect for the way he practices law. He's very ethical and honest. I would highly recommend him for any estate planning.
Yeager Law helped my grandmother put a trust and will together and we had a great experience. Michael Yeager is very kind, patient and explains things in a way that is easy to understand. The process was straightforward and I would recommend his services to others who have estate planning needs.
If I could give Yeager Law a 6 star review in every category, I'd do it. After much discussion with free probate attorneys in the LA County area, I hired this law firm to open a probate case when my mother passed away. Typically, you would get a free 15 minute consultation with a law firm; Michael Yeager spent 90 minutes on the phone with me. I was immediately impressed with his knowledge, demeanor, and his willingness to answer all my questions without feeling rushed. We discussed the pros and cons of ope
My wife and I were looking for an Estate Attorney to draw up our Estate Plan and Trust. After reading several reviews we decided to give Yeager Law a try. After meeting with Michael and reviewing what we needed/required and what could be skipped we decided this was the place! Michael explained ALL our options. He and his staff were extremely nice and gracious! Highly Recommended!
Michael created for us a very detailed Estate Trust, Will, POA and Health Care documents, amongst other things. We so appreciate the professional care and exceptional service we have been provided. Michael is easy talk to, listens intently, remembers, and addresses any concerns, and takes the time to explain everything and answer all questions. We could not have been more pleased with the professional services this firm has provided to us. Everything is done in house and the entire process was far easier th
We just completed our estate planning for the second time with Yeager Law. We found this firm to be very efficient, knowledgeable, easy to work with & reasonably priced. We highly recommend using them for your estate planning & probate needs.
I definitely can't say enough good things about Mr.Yeager ... Definitely great legal help for a fair price. After my fathers passing another attorney who turned his practice over to another attorney that starts with a V... on the Blvd wanted a bunch of $$$ to even talk about our issues with our family trust that their firm did in 99.., after everything was said and done they claimed that they don't keep important documents aka Trust and Wills only a few years....from here on out Michael is our guy...I defi
I am so glad that I chose this place. The staff is amazing, caring and so kind. Michael really took the time to make sure that everything was explained in layman's terms. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to "upgrade" like others before. I will recommend him and his staff to anyone that I know.
The service I received was caring, pleasant and thorough. Michael was able to tailor my Trust to fit my current needs (with a teenage son) but also make provisions for when he is old enough to be my successor Trustee; so that my Trust grows with my child. I didn't even know that was possible, I was expecting to have to revise my Trust in a few years. THIS is why an attorney is a better value than a legal aid service. I know my son's interests are protected now and in the future.
I am extremely pleased with Yeager Law! After going to another popular law firm and spending a significant amount of money to establish a Living Will and Trust, my father and I were notified that they would no longer represent us. I was so glad they dropped us because that's how we found Mike Yeager! He has went above and beyond to help us and we plan on sticking with Mike!
I was chosen by the family to act as administrator of the family estate. I was looking for a probate lawyer and didn't know how to best choose one when a card arrived via mail introducing Yeager Law. I called and made an appointment. After I left the appointment, I knew that I had our attorney, and I was really right. Mike and Yeager Law have been a Godsend. Not only were Mike and his staff very professional, friendly and most helpful, Mike himself was unlike any attorney that I had ever met. Not once
Mr.yeager is one of the best layer on the antelope Valley , I will recommended all the time, the best.
I was in such a horrible situation. I was going through probate. I went to a paralegal that put me in such horrible situation . Thinking she was helping me, when I went to court the Judge took a double look at me and the paperwork and all the Judge said was get a Attorney. I did not know who to trust at that point and what I was going to do Until I found Yeager Law, APC. I had basically went to several different Attorneys in which did not feel comfortable with, and unsure who to trust. When I spoke with Mic
I initially made an appt to create a trust for myself and a family member. Michael was, initially, friendly. The "free" consultation turned in to " you should get something started now." Trusting him to get something done, we signed the contract and paid several hundred dollars for something that should have been super simple (which wasn't what we initially wanted but okay). The following week Michael claimed he could not locate the information needed for our home. No matter the documentation provided he
Everyone at the firm was fantastic to work with. Patient, easy to understand, and absolutely flexible. We couldn't have asked for any one better to help us through estate planning. Well worth every penny. He put my mom instantly at ease and made her comfortable with navigating all of the pieces we don't think of. You will learn so much in a short time. Thank you all so much for your help!
Enjoyed working with Mike Yeager and his team. They made things very clear. They answered any questions that we had. He was very practical and patient. We highly recommend this firm.!!!
Respectful, reasonable and honest! I have dealt with several law firms in three different states and he is easily my favorite. You can get bigger but you really can't get better. I highly recommend Michael Yeager and his staff.
I had a consultation with Mike about a family issue and he was able to give us a map of all the steps necessary to resolve the issue. His professionalism, knowledge and clarity about the field is definitely a highlight worth noting for your needs.
I brought my friend to the office and was greeted with a smile and quick service. Would highly recommend Yeager law for all your estate and probate needs.
MR. YEAGER'S SERVICE IS EXCELLENT, HIS WORK IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL ,I HAD MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT LIVING TRUST, YET HE ANSWERED TO ALL MY QUESTIONS IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER. I BELEIVE THAT MR. YEAGER HAS A CERTAIN NUMBER OF YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PRACTICING LAW IN THE AREA SUCH AS TRUSTS AND ESTATES . THEREFORE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT YOU CAN HAVE A CONSULTATION. I RECOMMEND FAMILY AND FRIENDS FOR MR. MICHAEL YEAGER PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE. MY EXPERIENCE MR. MICHAEL YEAGER IS STILL FRESH IN MY MEMORY, H

Look for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, which ensures they’ve passed rigorous exams and meet state requirements. Check for relevant experience in your industry, additional certifications like CFA or CMA, and membership in professional organizations like the AICPA. Verify their credentials through state licensing boards.
Use online directories like the AICPA, CPAverify, or state CPA societies. Search platforms like Yelp or Google for local CPAs with reviews. Ask for referrals from business associates, friends, or financial advisors. Local chambers of commerce can also provide recommendations.
A CPA is a licensed professional who has passed the CPA exam and met state requirements for education and experience. An accountant may lack this certification and could have varying levels of expertise. For complex tasks like tax audits or financial reporting, a CPA is typically more qualified.
Ask about their experience with your specific financial needs, such as tax preparation, small business accounting, or estate planning. Review their website or LinkedIn for case studies or client testimonials. Inquire about their client base to ensure they handle similar financial situations.
Yes, reviews provide insight into a CPA’s reliability, communication, and performance. Check platforms like Google, Yelp, or the Better Business Bureau for client feedback. Look for patterns in reviews, but verify their authenticity, as some may be biased or outdated.
Visit your state’s Board of Accountancy website or use CPAverify.org to check a CPA’s license status. Confirm their license is active and check for any disciplinary actions or complaints. This ensures they’re in good standing and meet professional standards.
Ask about their experience with your financial needs, fee structure, availability, and communication style. Inquire how they handle tax filings, audits, or financial planning. Ask for references or examples of similar work to assess their expertise and fit.
Fees vary based on location, services, and complexity. Basic tax preparation may cost $150-$500, while business accounting or audits can range from $1,000 to $10,000+. Request a detailed fee structure upfront and compare quotes from multiple CPAs.
Yes, many CPAs offer remote services through secure online platforms for document sharing and virtual consultations. Ensure they use encrypted tools for data security. Remote CPAs can be effective if they understand your local tax laws or business regulations.
During consultations, evaluate their ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Ask sample questions about taxes or financial strategies and note their responsiveness and clarity. Good communication ensures you understand their advice and fosters a productive relationship.
Beware of CPAs who guarantee specific tax refunds, lack a valid license, or have disciplinary actions on record. Avoid those with poor communication, vague fee structures, or negative reviews highlighting unethical behavior. Always verify their credentials independently.
Large firms offer more resources and specialized teams but may charge higher fees. Solo practitioners often provide personalized service and lower costs but may have limited availability. Choose based on your needs, budget, and preference for personalized attention.
For individuals, annual meetings for tax preparation may suffice. Businesses may need quarterly or monthly check-ins for bookkeeping, tax planning, or financial reporting. Discuss your needs upfront to establish a meeting schedule that aligns with your financial goals.
Yes, many CPAs handle both, but confirm their expertise in both areas. Ask about their experience managing personal taxes and business accounting simultaneously. Ensure they can balance both without compromising attention to your specific financial needs.
Discuss concerns directly with your CPA to resolve issues. If unresolved, check your contract for termination terms. Seek a new CPA by researching reviews, credentials, and referrals. Request your financial records to ensure a smooth transition to a new professional.
